WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Well we got to Sugars about 6pm , we were afraid that we would run it to lots of rain but we didn’t. it was cloudy and did have a few drizzles but nothing serious.
Peggy I wish we could have stayed thru tomorrow with you to finish the sale up. I know it is just really overpowering for you. I cant imagine what you have been going thru to get to having the sale ...it was overwhelming to me and we didn’t have to do any of what you did. But I want you to know that after this sale , you have ruined garage sailing for Sugar and me for the rest of our lives. Lol....nothing will ever compare to that. I still am in awe.
Sugar and I bought so much stuff at the sale that we had to go rent a u haul trailer to take it all home....no this isn’t a joke we really did have to rent a trailer....not enough room in my truck....bought a beautiful old 1940s gas cook stove that looks new. also some benches for the garden, several big pieces of statuary for the garden. Big pots, and other neat things to plant flowers in. plus all the chicken things. From the lovely to the silly.
Great big thick rugs that had never even been taken out of the mailed packages. Beautiful pictures . I was just amazed. Simply amazed., overwhelmed and still cant understand the fact that it all came from one lady.
SUSAN:::: sure sorry that you all couldn’t get there to see this garage sale. You just cant imagine. We took some pictures and I will put them on this web site but it really doesn’t do it justice. I don’t really know how to describe it.
Hey if you need some eggs and Joe has been getting them go tell him to leave them alone for a few days lol...if you don’t have any just go over and get some. Don’t mean to horde all the eggs. Cant wait for you to see some of the neat stuff I bought ....
SUSIE:::::: lol I see you controlled yourself and didn’t take off for Peggys lol ....oh boy would you have loved some of the rooster stuff. Some beautiful stuff. If I had known that you wanted some of the cross stitch I would have gotten you some. There was a lot of it.
The clothing exchange went fine I guess. And yeah most of us need a tummy tuck after losing the weight, not many can lose all of this weight and not get by without it.
CRAIG:::::: so where in southern Mo are you going.....you know there are a lot of us down here that you should come see. Lol ....
I aint kissing any pigs so guess I should be safe from the swine flu...

GOD BLESS YOU TODAY

Don't faint, it's actually me and it's actually 6:15am!! Don't worry though, I plan on going back to bed for a little while. lol
I've still here and doing well. My kids are terrific and my hubby is a great man...still needs a job though. So if any of you hear of a job opening please let us know.
Luke is in Anaheim, CA for the DECA NATIONALS. He and his Deca Partner, Trey won the Kansas State Championship. They left for the Nationals on Tuesday. They will find out later this morning if they made it onto the Finals at the Nationals. I hope they did! They have went to Disneyland, Knotsberry Farms and some other places while they've been there.
I'll tell you a funny story. Luke calls me the first morning they were there. They were at I Hop eating breakfast. He said the Country Breakfast at I Hop in Olathe was like $9.99. However, there in CA it was $16.99! He said "Mom, that is just crazy!"
I had to laugh. I said Luke it is CA and they have to protected all those little animals running around out there! Anyways, I had to share that. Luke is so tight when it comes to money that he squeaks. lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he is because I think he's truly understand value of a dollar. One of his friends (not Trey) is exactly the opposite and I see where that can lead.
It was great to see some of the girls at Peggy's sale on Thursday. I got to see Bec, Barb S., Cor, Mama Jan and Sweet Sugar! Unfortunately, dh hadn't eaten and he got a little impatient with me so didn't get to spend as much time there as I wanted. Had to go feed my man. Plus, he had lots of things to do preparing the Boy Scout Garage we're having at our house today. Today is our City Wide Garage sale and there's always a big turn out. We're all hoping the boys make lots of money today.
I decided to take my Mom to Peggy's sale today. She will love it and I will love getting to see Peggy and Bec again. We're going to leave around 10am. However, with my Mom it might be closer to 12pm. I hope not because I really want to get there before noon!
Mama Jan, I'm so glad you got lots of things for your house and your gardens!! You should have gotten a picture of that uhaul out at Peggy's Tent...would have made a great conversation picture! Did Sugar get a lot of stuff too? Like I said, I'm sure I'd bought more if I had more time to look! Peggy told me last night that you all (You, Sugar, Bec, Cor and Barb S., sorry if I missed anyone else who helped) had helped her so much and she really appreciated it. I guess Bec is staying there till Sunday.
Sugar, it was great to see you too! I really wanted to talk to you about graduation party ideas for Luke. I'm going to try and pm you later this week and get your suggestions. Hope you got lots of neat stuff at Peg's sale too! I hope Mama Jan let you use some space in that u haul you all rented! That is just too funny!! lol
Beautiful Bec, you are such a doll! God has truly blessed you (and others) with a servant's heart. You'll never know how much your friendship has meant to so many of us on this board. Can't wait to see you later!!
Cor, you look GREAT!! Honestly, I'm not sure I would have recognized you if I had met you on the street! 100 lbs and down to a size 6!? That is wonderful! Congrats!
Peggy, bless your heart. Now I think we all see just a glimpse of what you've been going thru this past year or so. I am praying the Lord will bless your sale tremendously and you will finally have that part of it behind you. Can't wait to see you later today too! Please know, I wish I could have helped some. Just hated having dh having that look on his face that he needed to eat and NOW! I should have known to bring him some protein bars or something to eat. He gets so grumpy if he doesn't eat. He was diagnosed as being hypoglycemic years ago. The Endo. said back then that it would probably turn into diabetes, especially since it runs in his family. I'm going to have him tested here in the next few weeks.
MO PEEPS - If I didn't mention you by name, I am truly sorry. I haven't been posting much, however, I do read the posts daily and I do pray for the prayer requests you all post. I truly hope the Lord blesses all of you with a GREAT weekend!
Yes, I still believe "GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!".
Love ya'll,
Debbie D.
Barb S., you are such a sweet heart.

I hope everyone else is ok.
Hello all, I dont want this to sound mean but if you didnt get to go to Peggy's sale count yourself blessed...only because today when I went to a few garage sales it was such a big dissappointment compared to hers. I will probably never get as much joy out of sale every again! Thanks Peg! JUST KIDDING! It was great and I sure hope she can now relax a little and settle down for some time just for her and Mark!
By the way girl (Peggy) it was nice to meet Mark and your son! They are great guys.
Well Im not going to stay on...got to get to bed early...have Sunday School to teach in the morning and then we leave to head to our kids church to attend thier Wild West Day...should be fun.
I love you all and Im planning a get together with all you girls that were at the sale. OKAY??? Maybe we could all meet in Cathage? That might be a fun place?
Good night!
