Ok it's been about a week since the doc put me on pruvate (iron supp), after about 5 day's I had more energy, and not so dizzy bending over and then standing up....now  last few day's I feel exactly the same as I did????  maybe the iron hasn't "kicked in" yet, and the first few day's was all in my head because I thought I should feel better?   I don't want to bend over at all! It scares me, I literally sway on my feet and sometimes see black spots before my eyes. How long does it take to get throughout your system anyway???  I know if I don't do anything else right, I do take my vits...2 multi first thing in the morn. plus biotin, super b, b-12,fish oil, calcium chews  2x a day. am I leaving something out?  I take in 50 grams of supplement protein everyday, thats in addition to whatever I eat, I have been trying real hard to cut out carbs,,I like MEAT GRRRR! don't eat sugar....(much, maybe tiny bits once in awhile) I have NEVER dumped. does the lack of energy , dizziness sound like anything else not related to iron? I had all my blood tested when they put me on the iron and vit d supplements so I guess they should of noticed anything else out of whack...right????

A couple of weeks ago it was like 98/68 , so I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem, I even checked my blood sugar this morning, (haven't done that for 6 mo's), it was 118, actually that seems a little high since that was before eating anything but coffee and splenda.

I don't think that blood sugar is a problem but maybe you should talk to your doctor. I have only had that happen a couple of times since surgery and never could isolate what the problem was.

You need to call your doctor, it could be your iron but it also could be your Blood Pressure is too low.  Blood sugars could also be dropping to low to fast to make you feel funny.  I would be calling the doc for sure though, don't want to let it go to long.  It could be an inner ear.  I have been taking iron now for 3 weeks, I am taking Repliva, and I haven't had any dizziness since the first week.  I was low from the surgery.  I can't tell you about your vits, I take mine differently then you do, my calcium is double what you take.  I wish you luck with this let me know what you find out.
