Need Suggestions for Luke's High School Graduation Table at His Party
Hi, Everybody!
Yes, I'm still alive and kicking. No, David still does not have a job. The Lord has been providing and we are doing okay.
I'd like any suggestions you can give me on how to decorate Luke's table for his High School Graduation Party. He's having his "Celebration of Success" right after graduation with 2 of his childhood friends. We're having a cookout out at Kill Creek which is a really nice JC Park. Each boy will have their own table to set up pictures, etc. Do any of you have ideas on how I can decorate his table? I bought a royal blue plastic table cloth with a clear one that has graduation caps and diplomas on it to over over the blue one. I also have balloons and a blue graduation cap balloon weight. I'm going to put an 8x10 senior picture on the table. I think I'm also going to put his Eagle Scout Scrapbook on it as well. Just need some fresh ideas as to what else I can put on it.

Hey Debbie great to see you. Miss you on the board. My idea would be a collage of school pictures since kindergarten. I think it's fun to see the changes from year to year and or collage of special pictures throughout the years, ie: projects, prom, other dances, sports, awards, etc.

Hi Debbie,
When my step daughter graduated we bought a picture mat from WalMart that each of the guests could write a lil note to her on. We had taken a picture of her in her cap and gown before and had it in the frame. It was nice and everyone, especially her, enjoyed it.
I also did a bouquet of flowers of their class flower. And had the scrapbooks I did up for her with all of her pics from baby to that year. We also did an autograph book with her friends pics in it that they had written in that year (because the yearbooks didnt come out till fall) and all of her past year books. Her diploma and some other highschool things that she was involved in we had out with some of her senior pics.
I know this was for a girl but some of it you could maybe use.

SO Good to see you , will you come over to Peggys on Thursday, for her sale? Sugar will be able to give you some good ideas on partys anykind she has done them all. she is the party go to girl.

Yes, I am planning on going to Peggy's sale on Thursday! What time are you all planning on being there? DH is going to take my Dad to the doctor's office to get lab work done. His apt is at 8:45am. I may change that to Friday. That way DH could come with me but then again there would be a definite advantage if he stayed home!
Will have to see what I'm doing to do. I'm so excited to get to see you and Sugar and Beautiful Bec! Who else is coming with you? Are you all going to stay the day and go to lunch or something? If so, then I really think I'll come by myself or maybe get another girlfriend to ride with me. I'm going to have to map quest to get direction as to where it's at in Belton.
Well, it's been a VERY long day. Luke leaves of CA tomorrow and I've really got to get all his invitations addressed and mailed out tomorrow. Was going to try and get that done today but I didn't get a chance to do ONE invitation! Going to make myself get up early and get it done. I have a 12:30 apt to get my hair colored. It's been FOUR months and man do I have a lot of gray hairs. Some may like but I do NOT!! I feel like I look 10 years older than I am!!
