WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

I took my allergie pill this morning just like I always do. And still everytime I went out side to work I started coughing and eyes started burning. So would go back in and use my allergy eye drops and nasal spray. Darn that wind. It is a killer. I did get my window boxes emptyed out , cheaned up and reloaded with new dirt....and then planted with these new supposedly better petunias than the waves...so we will see. Hopefully they are.

Oh wow the lady banks rose is so big and so beautiful ..i took a bunch of pictures of a lot of things that are blooming in my yard right now. But will be more in a couple of weeks. I have to go to Lowes tomorrow and get more foam stuff that you put under laminate flooring so im going to stop at the feed store and get a couple more hog panels for arches over  the walkways. They aren’t expensive and make a great arch way for putting vines on. All you need is the hog panel and Joe uses four metal t-posts. You put the post where you want the arch way to be and then inside the post you put the panel bending it so that it goes inside the other t post. Then he wires the panel to the t post. I have one now that has Carolina Jasmine on it. want one for the passion vine I have and a hardy kiwi vine.

Joe has to mow tomorrow if it doesn’t rain. But they are saying it is suppose to rain starting tomorrow and go till who knows when. Lol according to the weather man it looks like forever.  

Oh yeah I did plant a bunch of flower seeds today. Dianthus , pinks and some other little flowers like that I just planted them all together.  Don’t remember off he top of my head.

I have to get another strawberry bed fixed....i have 25 more plants coming , will probably be here tomorrow or Monday. So I have to get that ready.

 

I have started walking with Andy and Susan , two days now. Lol. If I walk soon enough after taking my pain pills then im ok. Still hurts but can manage. And I have found that if I take a pepcid with the naproxen sodium it doesn’t burn my stomach ....Yeah!!!

Thought I better get half way in shape before you girls that are coming down for boot camp don’t outdo me lol...probably will anyway you young chicks.

 

 

SUSAN::::: I don’t think it got as warm today as it did yesterday do you?

Im glad that you felt better today. Those nasty allergies can sure make you sick cant they.

Have you gotten your clothes together for your trip?.....i don’t know if I have anything in my closet or not right now.

 

 

SUSIE:::::: oh wow sounds like you girls had a ball with all the buying and storing in the car...i can just see all of you laughing and buying stuff , oh my I think you are driving your hubby crazy with all the buying lol

 

 

POOH:::::::glad to know that your tummy wasn’t anything bad....you know when you eat something like what ever it was you said in Peggys post that you ate. That may be more than anything what is wrong, I know it might not make sence to you but sweets, carbs and caffine are all danger things for our tummys. Please try your best to get in more water, you don’t need to be dehydrated or sick with lots of other things.

LOU:::::: yes hasn’t these last couple of days been perfect.? Wow would love for it to be like that? I don’t think there is anything like having a beautiful yard. Makes everyone smile lol  Koi ponds are great. I tried just having goldfish in one of mine lol they didn’t last very long. The coons and don’t know what else is out here in the country....well they has a great buffet while they lasted. Yippee on the smaller size. Is exciting isn’t it?

RENEE::::::sounds like you are finishing up unfinished business from the past....im really glad that Tiffs grandparents met  up with them and  all went well.  Makes life a lot better when old things are all in order.

 

Yes I meant to ask everyone if they had any objections if what ever they bring to the clothing exchange if they minded  Teri taking all of the leftovers with her. They are having the big huge bone marrow yard sale to raise money and if there are leftovers from that they will take them to Grand oaks Mission  to donate....i told her I didn’t se a problem with that ....

 

Wish I was a fly on the wall to watch you looking at  yourself. I remember doing that ...will be so neat to see you again.

Jan I wanted to let you know the clothes I had all bagged up and ready to go got gave away tonight. Fran came and picked me up and I was going to be staying at Larry's all weekend, well we went and had dinner and then some shopping and while we were in wal-marts my Aunt Vonda called and her house was on fire, they have nothing now, so since all the clothes I had was her size I gave them to her. I feel bad for not bring any clothes to the exchange but I would have felt worse if she didn't have anything at all to wear. Please say some prayers for them they are in need big time.
 To top of my night Kala's grandma (the crazy one we call Lucy-pher) started trouble big time, she went to where Lee's dad works, and to the bank where Kala has her car loan and told them Lee kidnapped Kala and stole her car, OMG I wanted to do some damage. The bank called the car dealership and they turned Kala's car off so Kala, Lee and the two small children were stranded at a gas station for over 3 hours until they could get ahold of them to have it turned back on. So I had had enough and made a phone call to Lucy-pher I should have made along time ago. I asked her if she was happy with herself and she was like let me tell you a little secret, that was enough I told her I didn't give a damn what she had to say and if she didn't back off call then she would be dealing with me but I didn't say it that nice to her (sorry but I had enough and just lost it). I never said once I was going to beat her or kill her or for that matter even touch her, but right after I hung up on her she started calling everyone telling them the whole kidnapping story and that I called and said I was going to kill her. I was like are you freaking kidding me. I hate that I lost it on her but she has done so many bad things to Kala and me I was just done, no I'm not sorry I said what I did to her hopefully it will make her stop all of this. Poor Kala was so upset I like to have never got her calmed down so I could understand what she was saying and then poor Melly was scared and screaming in the background. Kala said she was done she couldn't take anymore and that her grandma was dead to her, I know that sounds mean and I'm really hoping Kala can get passed it, but I could tell you stories that this woman has done that would make your hair stand on end...it's unreal.
 Anyways I have dinner waiting on my Aunt and her family to come eat so I better get off here, sorry I throw all of that at you.

Good EARLY morning everyone...Jan what do you take for pain?

they have me on physical therapy about 3 times a week and I do curves almost ever day, to keep me off pain pills, I use ice packs and wear thumb covers, they go around my wrists and thumb, they think they can help me,it is better. I don't take any pain meds at all...
They ask me if I hads ever been in a car accident or had a bad fall I said no but in my first marriage my husband hit me with a car when I was pregnant, and I was knocked across the room a few times, and thumbs bent back to my hands,,,so all and all I am pretty good shape for the shape I am in...lol

sounds like everyone is doing good and enjoying the weather, I have lots of flowers out now, Jan I filled the big barrels with petunias in one and Zinnias in the other,  but the little vines that had little red flowers didn=nt come up, I loved them. but everything else is great,

I have a man that comes to our meeting, and he had a real slow heart rate that cant get up
they said they might have bruised the Vagues nerve (i hope I spelled that right) when they did his WLS 2 years ago, has anyone ever heard of this?  he went io Columbia...

Only have second before we take off but I wanted you all to hear the latest in the saga of the snake.  sigh....and now it looks like rain all next week...bummer.  But we have to have this sale, so on it goes.

Snake saga continued.  I get there Thursday and see that the siding & insulation where the snake had been has been torn away.  Of course, I call the man and ask him what's the deal.  He says it sounds like an animal wanted snake for dinner.  No problem...I work all day, keep my eyes open and head home for the night.  So now he's on vacation and I'm excited since if there are any critters HE can be the man.  We get there yesterday morning, and work away the morning.  I still occasionally look for the snake's body or anything moving.  SOOOOO.....early afternoon he moves a piece of plywood (right by where I have the washing station set up) to get a milk wire and puts it back.  About 30 minutes later he sighs and I ask him what's wrong.  He says I need to dispose of a snake body and I don't want you to freak out.  WHAT!!!!  WHERE?????  He tells me it's right by the piece of plywood he had moved earilier.  I'm dancing and freaking and telling him it wasn't there earlier.  He says it had to be since it's dead.  I said it wasn't.  So I go to look at it and he scrapes the milkwire at me to watch me scream.  I WILL get him for that.  So back to the story...I head to the truck and he gets the pitchfork to carry it off.  He moves the plywood and turns and looks at me with a look of shock on his face.  He proceeds to tell me the snake IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!  I about fainted.  He can't figure out how it's still alive since I blew almost the back third of it off.  It was only attached by a little skin & muscle.  Oh sure, the snake was dying but it had been dying slowly for two days.  Course I proceed to tell him that it was by the plywood because it was chasing me down for trying to kill it!  Vengenance is mine, sayeth the snake!  He moves it away from the house and finally kills it with the .22 pistol (after several shots, he didn't have good aim!)  About 15 minutes after he shot it he decided to remove it permanently and goes to get the pitchfork.  I'm washing away and he gets to where the snake was and says "IT'S GONE!". I scream and start dancing and he starts laughing.  Just kidding he manages to gasp between giggles.  I have yet to plan his slow, painful death.

So there you have it.  Finally, the END to the saga of the snake.  I think I'm never going back out there after the sale is over.  Just kidding, we want to live out there one day.

I will post another link to the sale when I find out if the big ad has been placed.  We may order sides to the tent to help keep things dry for the sale.  I really hope it doesn't rain too much next weekend.  But if it does, it does.  At least it will be over.

Good morning to all.i am finally getting to post.i had to run into town this morning and get some thing's so we could make some chicken salad to take with us on our trip tomorrow.the church is having a big dinner and andy and i know there is a lot of thing's we cannot eat.seeing or smelling food does not bother me.

sure is another pretty day.wi**** would stay that way.andy and i went for our walk.jan and joe were cutting grass.jan was getting her walking in that way.she will be sore later on.

jan thank's for the starter plant's yesterday.the vine you gave me a couple of week's ago is growing like crazy.i have our bag's almost ready for the trip.i am going to start to put the clothe's for the exchange in the car soon.

susie sure does sound like you had a good time.i would like to go shopping again sometime like that.even just to look.the last time i went with sugar and jan and some other ladie's i could hardly walk.

lou how is the yard work coming along.it is a great form of excrise that is for sure.

renee we are praying for the family that had that house fire.andy and i know what it is like to lose something's.we did not lose everything but we did lose our house in a fire in tulsa oklahoma about 12 year's ago.we stayed with my mom and dad in their apt till we got another place.my mom alawy's made room for anyone.

cor size 6 is great.i got into a size xl sweat pant's today.i never thought i would.i could barely get into a size 3 xl before.

pooh bear did you find any mushroom's.they sure do sound yummy.i love mushroom's in my salad's.

peggy that is enough critter's now.what did you think of to get back at your hubby.you need to ask andy sometime some of the way's i have scared him.i am pretty good at it.lol.

WoW what a day....Im a little late in posting but, boy did I have a list of things to get done today.....
I can sure tell I had a B-12 shot this week!!! Got a hole lot of energy today and yesterday for that matter!!!
Been wanting to get my Deck done and all my flower beds done as well.....Well there DONE!! Planted over 60 bulbs today and then went and got more....lol Got all of the weed's taken care of in all the beds, which is  3 and then added more dirt and finished them off with a good coat of mulch.... Then planted my rose bushes around the corners of the fenceing so that they can climb on the fench....got them all mulched in. Got my deck all back to normal from the LONG,LONG winter months. As Im posting this DH is putting a new storm door on the back deck...the wind caught it this winter and per near tore it off, so we had to replace that. Plus we got up this morning and went garage saleing.....WoW what a great day!!!  Oh, and today is DS's birthday, and his is putting my new lights in downstairs in the basement for me too....lol  Whew....Im tired, just from writing this....lol
Next week is the retaining wall in the front of the house and replaceing the Creeping Mertal (sp) that didnt make it thru the winter....Lowe's will take them back....thank goodness,,,,,
Now moral to all of this....Mom and Grandma are coming....lol but it needed to be done anyway but they gave me the reason to get it done....
Now wanted to say one more thing.....
Dr H....if your reading this....THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!! I would have NEVER been able to do this with out having the surgery...you have given me my life and want for life back!!!! Thank you again...!!!!

I guess sis I will keep my stuff instead of bringing it for exchange cause I need to have a sale and make $ for my mission trip. Giving is down for mission funding and I dont think we are going to get much from the council so me and the other girl that are going on this one may have to come up with our own funding. Anyway, we are thinking of having a fish fry and craft and garage sale...and whatever else we can think of.

So I planted a couple of planters of stuff yesterday and have another one to go, and so far that is all Ive done in the flower department.

I need to get my elephant ears in and Chelle is going to take some I think for her yard. She is working toward getting her privacy fence up...for her doggys.

Well, we went fishing today but didnt get anything, just to windy I think.

Vicki is getting better and I will take her Tuesday to get that nasty ole drain out. She is feeling better!

Gotta get off of here but will see ya Monday night!
