WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Im glad today is over with for sure. I about wore myself completely out. Lol ...i took all my coleus out of the greenhouse and planted them in the shade garden....all 12 of them some have really gotten big over the winter...i took a start off of everyone of them and put them into some good soil so in case something happens I have another start. I also put all my house plants (vines) out and around the pond in the shade garden. ..i noticed today that several of the astilbes look like they are all coming up. Yeah!!!!! My wild gernaniums are coming up as well as some of the other ground flowers in the shade. It is really going to be pretty out there this year. My purple , pink and white columbine are all blooming. And the foxgloves, and larkspurs are up...i will have to take some pictures of this garden for sure.  I want to put a comfortable chair or hammock out there so during the day when I get too tired I can go there and rest awhile. , yeah if I can keep Joe out of it.

I repotted all my pink , and red geraniums into 4 really big pots and transferred my mandavieas to larger pots and put them out by the white arbor they will be climbing. I will probably have to put strings on that for them to get hold of...

I have a headache right now from not eating or drinking like I should have today. Darn I get so busy and I forget to eat , don’t get hungry I will have to set a timer like Bec had when she first started lol

Wow the wind has really kicked up in the last bit  didn’t know it was suppose to be doing that...sure hope the temps stay up and I don’t have to worry about my plants outside. Lol I guess I am pushing the envelope just a little but im tired of them being in the greenhouse. Get them out and get the greenhouse cleaned up and everything ready for next year. In the summer I keep one table is just for all my chemicals and sprayes and preen , gloves and hand tools. Will clean the windows and soak all the planting items in bleach water and set them out to dry before putting then up for the summer. A lot to do in the spring and summer ....need to pick up some new tomato plants I only had one kind of tomato plant to come up and live which was the pineapple tomato plant and I want some others too. will pick them up tomorrow ...we are going over to Eureka springs tomorrow , Michele and her boyfriend are moving to Clarksdale Ark. And she wants me to keep her winter clothes and her odds and ends  that she has , mostly sentimental items , all of her elephants and other things that came from her Nanny . they are selling everything else so they don’t have to take it with them....she said they would just get stuff again from garage sales and stuff when they get a house. Meantime they will stay with his mom....i , as always hope that this will change her and help her but . I don’t like the idea that she will be so far away. But hopefully it will work..i really hope so....i just cant run to her aide as easy but that is probably a good thing lol

SUSAN:::: You sure can see you shrinking .....sure was a nice day today wasn’t it. your yard really is looking good. And will look even better when the flowers you have planted come up.  If you want to make any other flower beds  I have lots more seeds so your welcome to them..

SUGAR:::::how did Vicky do with surgery? I hope everything is ok for her? And that she did well.

That is great about getting the new pastor and sounds like you were really impressed with him. It has been years ago that I heard him preach, when the kids lived out on Joe Bald Road in Kimberling city, and went to church with them once and that was where they were going at the time. I thought he was good then also , I don’t remember what he preached on but remember it was a very good sermon..

SUSIE::::::LOL  you must have been cold ....all those jackets and coats.  I hope you had a great day at work  today and no bad things happened. I don’t think I could be a teacher , in fact I know I couldn’t...

VESTA::::: whew im sure glad you aren’t mad at me... I will be there next month if I have to walk lol well no cant tell you that can I . I couldn’t walk that far if my life depended on it. guess I could if I had a long enough time to do it in like a year lol

BEC:::::: so good to see you back for a little while...wow sounds like we really need to

Come up to see you to get you home and for a little rest lol... did you get your grass mowed?

You know I think that the week of liquids more or less maybe shrinks your mind rather than the stomach because it probably doesn’t shrink the stomach really , just makes you remember that no you really don’t need to eat till you hurt. Thought that we might do it the second week in May but  don’t know. Third week of May has support meeting since the forth Monday is memorial day so that is out and then forth week in May would be ok except would have to start on Tuesday if anyone wanted to do anything on memorial day...lol so see it is hard to schedual....and I would really like to do it before another month goes by...

You may very well have some strawberries this year, I did out of mine the first  year.

I hope you got a few things planted anyway. It was a beautiful day to do it.

ANDY ::::WOW Look at you too , like the new picture. You are doing great on your losing weight now. That is why I want to do a week worth of boot camp for anyone that wants to join in.......i think there is something about doing something with others that really helps.

BEV::::: Oh me I haven’t  been exercising much either and you really can tell it when you don’t cant you. I cant seem to walk because of my knees but I can do other exercises . I even have the equipment to do a lot of stuff here and haven’t been using the equiptment.

Sugar and Janet are suppose to be finding a place for the reunion. Now with that being said , if anyone has some really good ideas get  hold of Sugar or Janet and they will check it out with what ever they are thinking.  I know they were talking about a place up at Lake of the Ozarks but don’t know if that has gone anywhere yet

PEGGY::::: you will be missed but understand that you will be swamped for the next week.

Did you get my private message about the stove? Just hang on to it for me ok? ...we will see you on the 30th. Cant wait to see you and your mil stuff. Lol

When the sale is over you will have to come down to my house. We will do the boot camp and get you all re vitalized ...would love to do it then so we can all get

On board for the summer  ....

SANDY:::::::: you are very welcome, I hope that helps you out.  I know that the way things are now anything helps ....

Sounds like you have a great place for the melons.

Sounds like it really might be allergies....but it may have gotten your nasal passage.s infected.  Might need some steroids or antibotics to clear it up...or you might try a really strong saline solution to snort. I do this I mix table salt in the palm of my hand with warm water. Then I snort it up my nose as far as I can ....if it is infected it will burn but it will also clear it all out , usually twice is all I have to do it no matter how bad it is. And is one less time that I have to take antibotics. ...

Take care of your self at this time of the year, allergies can really be bad. And they cause bronchitis and even worse.

Good Morning Mimi and all,

Am thinking and praying for Brenda this morning and hoping that she is getting better every day.

Boy I was like you Mimi, just plumb tuckered out after yesterday... I worked all day and then collapsed on the couch! ~ha  But it sure felt good to be able to putter around out in the yard and stoop over, get down on my knees and all such things without all the pain I used to have.... I'm just thrilled about that! Although by the end of the day my back was screaming... guess it all couldn't be perfect huh?

I did get quite a bit done but not near all of it... I pulled weeds out of the lily's, pulled up all the mulch and WEEDS out of the hydrangea bed and put more alum. sulfate on them... now am ready to cut new paper and re-mulch them, I got my arbor cleaned and ready for seeds and plants, both beds on the sides of the garden shed.... a peony bush and the canna's planted there... the ground is so muddy though... I mowed around the front of the house still have the back to do today... I did not get the elephant ears in as Paul will have to fill my planters up before I can do that.

Today we will unload the 115 paver stones from the truck in preparation for the flag pole flower beds... boy that doesn't sound like much but it is a whole truck load.... and those buggers tear up your hands if you are not wearing gloves... they are heavy too. Can't wait to see what it will look like all finished.  Sure hope it never falls down as I have a fortune in it! ~ha  It's taken me a couple of years to get it but I have enjoyed the flag so much this past year.  It's time to get my fountain running again too... will have to scrub it out, maybe that will be one of today's jobs too?

I guess I won't be able to come to the boot camp as my girls graduate the 10th in Hollister and the 16th in Texas.  But you know it might be a good time to have it when your support group meeting is then maybe some will be able to attend and visit with those they have not seen in a while? Just a thought?

Well I'm back on the go after today so I will be back next week.  I'm really looking forward to seeing Debbie Darl'n!  I have not seen her since the Christmas Party.

Andy and Susan ~ WOW WOW WOW you both are looking so great!  I'm just thrilled for you both!

Sandy ~ not sure what is going on with you but hope it gets better!  Let me know if you are going to be able to stop by to or from your son's house.  Not sure what day it will be this time but maybe I will be home and can chat with you a bit if you have time?

Am thinking of poor Peggy and all that she is dealing with getting ready for the sale. Will be glad when it is all over for her!

Bev ~ glad you got a new puter and can be on with us more.  I have been riding my bike down at Paul's sisters and my goodness it sure does use a different set of muscles than what I use walking.  I sure have enjoyed riding around her neighborhood as all I have around here is gravel.  Hope you are able to get out and enjoy your bike now that the weather is getting better.

Susie ~  boy you sure are the clothes shopper! ha  Glad you are finding some good bargains and that you are able to get into such small sizes!  I actually tried on a few larges and they fit! not how I like but I at least could get them on... they were t~shirt material and snug but I was amazed that I could get ANY large even over my head! ~tee hee  Still mostly in 18's.

Well I have so much to do today in prep for tomorrow's trip and then want to get more yard work done too so better get on with it.  Will be back next week to check in.

Take care all.

I have run out of energy. I came home so tired yesterday and I didn't even do that much. I slept pretty good I think but I am so tired. Not sure why. I am not doing anything different. I take my vitamins.I think I eat enough and the right things. Maybe its just all catching up with me.

Bec you need to post a new picture. You have changed so much. I have seen you so I know how small you really are.You are much smaller than you think you are.

Jan what do I  need to do to get certified to start a support group? There are so many of us around the the fort we may need to start a group here. We could still come to the other meetings but maybe get some new people involved if we had meeting here.

I gotta get going to school, wish I could say no more. Oh well summer is almost here.Only about three weeks left of school.
Have a great day.

I have a few minutes before I head out and I HAVE to tell you all about what happened yesterday.  This will either give you the heebie jeebies or you will be rolling w/laughter.

I get there and I'm fighting the wind, getting the wash tubs set up and the fire going...blah, blah, blah.  I always CAUTIOUSLY go into the house because I don't want to find anymore critters.  So I'm working away, hauling boxes and I see something in the front bedroom window that hadn't been there earlier.  I get a little closer and the dance starts.  Stinking SNAKE!!!!!!  Curled up in between the glass and the storm glass.  It was HUGE.  I grabbed the phone and called Mark, screaming.  Course he can't leave work to come save me but he's trying to coach me on how to "get it".  Take a stick and pull it out....NO WAY!  I'm NOT touching that thing with a stick!!  By this time his coworker can hear me yelling and they are both laughing their hineys off.  I am yelling and laughing and dancing.  I hate snakes.  So I grab the 22 pistol and get it loaded.  I figure once it gets on the ground it's a goner, right?  Now you all probably think this story is over....Nope.  I keep watching the stupid thing and it starts moving like it's going to leave. So when I see that it's dropping away from in between the glass I go over there and it reaches the window sill AND GOES INTO THE WALL!!!!!!   ARRRGGHHH!  This nasty thing is in the wall of the house!!  I just want to go home....sob.  By this time my phone is dead and I can't even call him and scream.  So I steel myself and walk slowly in the house and watch the area where it went.  I actually kept working but it was slower than I would have liked.  I managed to get thru another 60 boxes or so.  So hubby sets me up with the shotgun for today.  If that sucker hits the ground he's going to meet his maker.  I know they can't hurt me and it eats mice so I will leave it alone unless it comes after me.  I sure wish you could hear my husband and my daughter laughing last night.  They are so ornery.  And to top it all off, I now have poison ivy rash.  Sigh.

ANDY.....where did you go??  Nice to see the "new" you.  And Susan just keeps melting.  You all are doing so well.

Ok, enough whining and moaning.  I need to get going.  I really hope it has moved on or that I don't even see it today.  I need to get this work done.

Love you all and thinking of you.
Peggy
Life isn't about about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Good morning OH family.....This is a sunny morning and I'm loving it!  It is supposed to be 74 here today can't wait.   I did ride my bike a little bit last night and that felt wonderful.  I'm going to try and locate a bike trail here today and take my bike there and ride it today since I have the day off.

I have been fighting the carb monster a lot lately I think that's why I have been on this stall for so long.  Sometimes for me it seems like the carb stuff is all that feels good in my tummy I can't eat a lot of meats (protein) most meats don't agree with me.  I keep trying because with me you never know from one day to the next if something is going to work or not.   It's like one day everything will go down just fine then the next I try to eat the same thing and it doesn't agree with me so I never say never!  Maybe if I just change my exercise a bit and add a little more maybe that will give my weight loss a jump start again?  Thought about the pouch test but I think my dr. would object to that for now.  I also thought about doing my own version maybe drink more protein shakes and just eat less maybe that would work?  I want to lose about 20 more pounds to reach my goal weight.

Well, I have to get ready for an appointment so I better go for now take care everyone and enjoy this beautiful day!

I detest snakes - any size, color or what kind they are...........

I am still having the cough & sinus problems, still doing the breathing treatments now down to 2 a day.  I have not had much of a problem with my asthma since my weight loss so i have almost forgot I have asthma. Does that make sence?  I started carrying my rescue inhaler again and cough drops - almost have to switch to a bigger purse.

Don't know for sure if I am going to SPF as they are all sick with strep throat.  Told them to get well as I need a grandkid fix real bad...  They have a week to get better!

Does anyone have any 36C bras and a swimsuit they want to get rid of?  Also am looking for size 12 shorts & capris.

Got to clean out the fridge now that Dad is out of town, I can't do it when he is home as he gets so upset when I throw out food.  I also want to get rid of a few things in the freezers.  The man has a cast iron stomach!  Nothing makes him sick no matter how old it is.  I try to throw out stuff if it hasn't been eaten in 3 or 4 days or freeze it then forget its in the freezer.  I have about 6 containers of chicken soup in the freezers now.  I am not even counting the containers of chili...

I need a prize winning chili recipe as my unit at work have nominted me to enter the chili cook off on Nurses Day which we will celebrate May 7th.  Send me your recipes...

Take care!

Another beautiful day!  I hear tomorrow and the next day will be beautiful also. YAY!  I got my 6 month labs back today.  Everything was perfect! wooohooo! I'm so happy to have those back and all good.  I feel really good I'm just glad to have it on paper that I am doing good.  I lost 1.8 lbs this week.  Not too great but I'll take it.  I only have a few more pounds to make it to onderland.  I can't wait to get there.  For now I will just take it one day at a time and enjoy every moment of it.  I had a closing today with a first time homebuyer couple.  They were so excited.  Those are always fun, everyone is so happy and they just got a little slice of the American dream that I got to help them find.  I LOVE my job!  Have a great evening everyone!  Lou ;)
