Daily Bible Reading - Saturday April 18th
Turning those corners in life is what God wants us to do. He wants us to turn them as we follow and trust Him completely. You may be hesitant to turn a corner in your life but always knows that if your following God and talking to Him on a daily basis then when you start to turn that corner God has already made the rest of the turn for you. Once we take that first step, which is the hardest step to take, He will do the rest. It’s always amazing how God brings us as far as we are. When I take the time to sit down and look back at where I was and then turn and see where God has me heading, I am always amazed at how far I have come, you will be too if you only take the time and take that first step forward, like the scripture says, He will never leave you nor forsake you, He will ALWAYS be there no matter which way you turn.

Psalm 16:7-8
"I will bless the Lord who counsels me; he gives me wisdom in the night. He tells me what to do. I am always thinking of the Lord; and because he is so near, I never need to stumble or fall."
At one point or another, your life will change. You will turn corners and come upon new blessings and challenges in your lifetime. This can be a positive experience, because it means that God is ready to change you and bring you into a new season of blessing. God never made you with the intention of staying the same. Instead, He made you so that you would change and grow and move forward. God is not in the business of becoming stagnant and never changing. God has promised you that He will never leave you or be too far away. Even though you may turn a corner without knowing what is on the other side, God knows. He will not allow you to trip or stumble when you're following Him completely. So go ahead and turn those corners in confidence with God at your side!
Today's thought: God, thank You for Your promised companionship. Give me strength to turn the corners of my life and to honor You in doing so.
