Couldn't go to the farm today since I had appointments and our final dance class is tonight.  But will go tomorrow and all next week.

Outta bed....coffee

Forgot to eat until I got home at 1:30....2 oz cheese, 2 oz beef (didn't sit well)

Snacks....strawberry, protein bar.

Tonight is snack night so we'll see if I can make wise choices.

Water is pretty good and vits are right on track.  How did you all do today?

fage and protein powder for breakfast

wheat sticks for a snack

lunch was cantalope and pineapple

snack was a cheese stick

dinner was a knockwurst with cheese(no bread)

water has been ok and got my vitamins

might have some more yogurt tonight before bed if I am up late to make sure I get my protein in because I am only at 59 grams so far.

Hi ya Susie....

Looks like a pretty good day!  No major blowouts and I sure hope that stinking pound has gone away.  I'm sure you went ahead and had the yogurt so I'll just say have a good night.

TGIF! I'm so glad it's Friday. But I have quite a bit of homework to do this weekend so it won't be all rest and recuperation.

Here's the damage:

Pre B: decaf coffee with sugar free vanilla caramel coffeemate

Breakfast: Fage with cream cheese pudding mix, caramel sauce. 1 cinnamon graham cracker

Lunch: Ham salad on 2 slices wheat 45 calorie bread, some brown sugar cinnamon almonds.

Snack: Protein brownie...I'll have to share the recipe. I found it on the recipe forum here. It's awesome!

Dinner: It's pizza night. I had two slices...actually I only ate 1 and 2/3.

So, I need more protein. I'll probably have some more fage or a protein shake later. I'm working on the fluids. Got a few more vits to take but I'm gonna get them in.

Ooooo....I can't wait to hear about the brownie.   Sometimes there is NOTHING like chocolate.

Looks like you and Susie were in the same boat needing a little more protein.  Hope you got it.

i am just wondering if you all just dont post the protein shakes and such that you have or youjust dont do them. you know you arent getting enough protein in with just food cause you cant eat enough to get it in....60 grams is a starting point not the set amount you should have. and if we dont digest all the vits in our food(that is the reason we have to take vits supplements) then it only stands to reason we dont digest all the protein inour food either (that is the reason for Protein supplements_ ok ok i will quit preaching. sorry Peggy love you all and want you all to be healthy.

B= Protein coffee
snack---handful of pork rinds
lunch- 1/2 cup of homemade chicken salad with red grapes cut up in it. yummy  oh and 2 saltines
late afternoon snack----strawberry protein shake made with lactaid milk
supper-- 1/2 bratworst link and 1tablespoon of saurekraut
snack ---3 peanut butter protein balls

Could swore I posted here last night lol But guess I didnt.  Had a fairly good day yesterday, busy doing some cleaning and things around the house.  Gotta get out and do our walk in a few while its not raining.  Hope your taking care of yourself Peggy, sure dont want ya getting your self to run down.

Outta Bed - Protein Hot Cocoa, this has become my favorite protein shake.  Susan had a blueberry protein shake.

Lunch - I made up some tuna salad with light mayo and hard boiled egg.  I had about 1/4 cup and Susan had about the same.  

Snack - we both had blueberry protein shake.

Supper - I had 2 slices of deli sliced turkey and 2oz of colby jack cheese.  Susan had 1/2 slice of the turkey and just a small bite of the cheese, she chewed it real good and slow but dont think the cheese set to well for her.  Looks like her pouch is gonna be a grouchy one.

Snack - we both had another protein shake.

Our vitamins and water are all on track.  Im finding since I started all this over with Susan that as long as i follow the rules, eat real slow, get all my water and protein in I get full, before Susan started I was able to eat quite a bit more before feeling full, I'm really glad of that, wish I had totally followed the rules for the last 2 years, I would prolly be at my goal weight by now, oh well though, its still coming off slowly but surely.
