Eatin' Good Wednesday......

No more excuses.....I need to get this thread started again.  It keeps me accountable.

Worked at the farm today.  Went thru and priced 27 boxes.  Had to clean the things in most of them.  I feel pretty good about the amount of boxes but then I have probably 400 more to go thru.  And I am not exaggerating.  Hopefully I won't have to clean everything in them....  So much to do...

Outta bed....coffee

Mid morning.....oatmeal

Snacks....2 oz cheese, 2 protein bars, SF pudding

Dinner is going to be a small salad and I plan on adding some leftover baked beans for the extra protein.  Water and vits are right on track.

I'm beat...but I have to get up and get at it in the morning and see if I can make a dent in those boxes.  I also need to make some signs and price tags.  Also planning on updating the listing and need to get some advertising done.

How did you all do today?  I know we have a lot of people going thru rough times right now.  Praying for all of you!

Peggy, I am trying to hang in there the best I can. I go to the doctor tommrow for my 1 week post op appointment and get rid of the drain and staples. Can't wait.
What I have had today is:
Breakfast: 2 oz SF Peach Jello
Lunch:  4 oz SF Rasberry Jello
     Dinner: 6 oz Chicken Broth
Drinks: 20 oz Special K Protein Drink  Strawberry/Kiwi
8 oz SoBe SF Blue/Black Berry
                24 oz Decaf Coffee
                8 oz Decaf Tea

Good Luck on unpacking. If I was closer to you I would come help you. The salad sound really yummy. When were you able to eat salads's? What about Salmon or Fish?

Hi Becky!!!

Good job on the liquids.  I bet you are ready to get rid of that drain.  I didn't have to have one w/my RNY but I got the "privilege" of having one when I had complications w/my gallbladder removal.  Fun, fun.

I wouldn't let you help me!  It is SO dirty.  But I can't wait for the sale to be OVER!

I waited until I was 3 years out before I had salad.  I think I was approved at 6 months but I just didn't try them.  And fish does not sit well w/me.  I know lots of other eat it and have not problems.

Glad to see you here and I hope you get feeling better every day!!

I do not want to talk about today. I was bad I ate a small pack of wheat  sticks and worse than that I ate some white rice and gravy. Today was not a good day. I bet I gain two pounds over night.

Hey Susie.

Don't you just LOVE gaining over night?  But I know that even tho you didn't do so hot w/the rice you will do better tomorrow.  That's the joy of this surgery....you are now in control.

I sure loved your Hawaii pics.  One of my dreams.  I WILL get there some day.

Have a good night.

Yay, Peggy is back!!

Thanks for posting this Peggy, it really helps keep me accountable too.  I'm doing so much better on my eating now that Susan has had surgery and after doing the liquid diet the whole time she had to, seemed it either got my pouch back in shape or shrunk it or something cuz it sure is different then before which is great!!  We had a busy morning cleaning the yard up some and got a few plants transplanted and got our strawberry bed all planted  mmmmm strawberries.

Outta Bed - 1/4 Cream of wheat - Susan had a protein shake.

Lunch- Protein shake for both of us, I think susan had a few bites of cottage cheese in  between.

Supper - Susan tried a couple bites of potted meat, has a bit more sodium then she needs but one can has like 15 grams of protein, i think she was able to eat 3 bites which was prolly 1/2 the can, they are tiny cans,  I had just under a 1/2 cup of homemade chilli, I couldnt quite fini**** which is great, used to i could eat a full cup and  more, now I take it slow and get full better.

We have to go in the morning to Columbia for Susan's 1 month check up, cant believe its been a month already, time flies.  Dont work to hard Peggy.  Have a great evening!!

Howdy Bro!!!

Busy, busy, busy!  You two seem to go and go.  I am thrilled that you are doing so well.  I have been contemplating going on liquids for a while since Bec did it and since you have done so well.  It's just a matter of doing it and quit thinking about it (for me)

I am SO proud of both of you.  And strawberries...mmmmmm.  I am loving them right now.

Have a great night and safe travel.  I'm sure we'll hear Susan shouting for joy!
