WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Another chance of frost up farther north of us....brrrrrrr im wondering where Spring is too, like so many of you  and I am freezing to death...ive had on sweats and heavy socks all day and still cold.  If I say anything about the heat this summer I want someone to hit me with something , maybe an frozen snow ball or something like that lol

 

I have to stop at a nursery tomorrow and get a load of dirt to mix with the compost...i have  several things to fill up . also as we come back thru Forsyth I saw on Craigs list that this lady had some hostas and decorative grasses for sale for a dollar  5 gal bucket...any way we are going to stop and see if she has some that I don’t have.  Am looking for some of the ones that get really big. Or some of the real unsual colors

Joe has to be at the doctor at 10 so should be back home  fairly early so we can get some things done....Joe has to get the gate built and put on the post for the garden..

 

 

 

SUSAN:::::: a lot of people who didn’t have a problem with milk before surgery do afterwards.  I was already lactose intolerant but after surgery it really got bad....

 You are really doing great on the walking. Sure wish my knee would let me do it with you all. Maybe when this wet weather stops so much I can do it again. ..sure hope so.

Hope you can get to Peggys sale on the 30^th...Sugar and I are going up on the 29^th and staying all night with Bec and then we are going over to the sale early on the 30^th...it sounds like it will be a fantastic sale....i said I might need to rent a trailer lol . sure hope you and your bunch get up there too...it would be a neat thing to do for an outing ....and would be fun too...

 

Hey  you said something about it being less thab a week till the support meeting  isn’t it on the27th ? that is what I have written down.   The forth Monday in the month  that would be the 27^th ....at least I hope that is it ,,,,....now I will have to go get my papers  yep it is the forth Monday...the 27^th  cant wait to  see you again and to smooch on that baby...

PEGGY::::: I know you will really be glad when your sale is over ...so you can rest about that...it sounds like you have  had an awful time getting this done. All the stuff that you have there I cant imagine going thru all of it and sorting it all out. ...was your husband her only child?

I know what you mean about your kids. I guess it will always be that way...mine are grown  and all but my youngest one are all grandparents  already lol and I still worry about them and their kids and now their kids too. guess it never ever ends.

Good morning!  Despite all the people rushing the door yesterday, I had the best day.  I got a call from a realtor about a house that was supose to close two weeks ago, finally cleared to close, I got one house undercontract yesterday and then last night I get a call that i'm getting an offer on another listing I have.  What a day!  I'm so very very happy that today is the last day of tax season.  I'm so ready and I have to work 10-9...what?!?!  Please let this day go by fast! I hope Brenda Nutt is doing better, she's a fighter and will recover in no time.  Oh and official weigh day was yesterday and I'm down -108, in 6 months! OMG! I don't know why its comming off so fast at this point, but I'm not going to complain.  I will just keep doing what I'm doing ;) have a great day everyone! Lou  p.s. I am gonna try to get there on the 27th. I was thinking it was this coming week. I think Angie is out of town and I do not know where the rest of our group is. I have been missing a lot of them. Our meeting are scheduled for the fourth Saturday so its always close to yours. I wish they were a week or more apart.
Dh is uncomfortable with the gizmo attached to his esophagus. He can feel it and has to keep the monitor very close or it beeps. He had to sleep in his recliner last night. He did not feel bad enough to stay home. He even went out and bought a new truck. Not sure why,the one he had was only a year old. I guess if it makes him happy and he is willing to work and pay for it he should have it. I am content right now to drive my old clunker. I am hoping to get another five years out of it. It is 8 years old now but doesn't have many miles on it.
I am working at the middle school today. I didn't want to but I have said no a lot lately. Guess I better get going.

Hi Auntie Jan and OH Peeps,

Can you believe 2 days in a row? Yep-2 days in a row!!! Yesterday was a horrid day! I did end up in a horrible mood-because I had to deal with Eric (my ex), Carl (my biological dad), and Stephanie (my daughter). BY the end of the day, I really really thought of throwing my phone into the new pond that has come about from the flooding, but I didnt.  My mom came to the track and met me, and her and I ended up laughing and cutting up and then planning on our cruise.  That helped.

I forgave almost 2 grand for Eric, out of the kindest of my heart and also because I dont have the income to help support Stephanie and she is going to be living with him now-ok? Well, HE has decided that since I will be getting a little bit of income, that "I" need to take that money and finish getting her teeth fixed, take her clothes shopping, pay for this and that and he had a big old list of things that I should pay for! I was so angry! So, I pretty much told him that if I chose to take the whole amount and go to the candy store and spend every single penny there-its no ones business but mine-because he OWES THAT TO MIKE AND I, for the years that WE SUPPORTED the girls WITHOUT HIS HELP! ARGH!!!!

I barely hang up from having it out with Eric and I am HOT to say the least and Carl calls-and he had been out to my moms storage unit-in which she had called them and asked them to put one of their lock outs on it-because Carl had a key to the lock and kept threatening to go out and get her belongings out of the storage, even though hers is the only name on the storage unit and so on-so the people who have the storage unit said it was no problem, they put their big ol' lock on it......well, to be a dink-he was going to get her belongings and MAKE her buy the things back from him-and it backfired-so he called MY PHONE-because he does not have anyone elses phone numbers and no one elses addresses.........So he calls my phone and tells me that he is losing his patience with my mother because she hasnt paid storage (she has but again-asked them to keep their lock on it to keep him out of it) and he is losing his patience and yadi yadi....he isnt going to take this crap (only he is swearing) anymore and so on. I hung up on him and called my mom and told her that Mike and I would be at the track later in the evening so Mike could get some practicing in since this weekend is a money race weekend......I asked her to meet us there so she could call the jerk from my phone and so he wouldnt get her number etc.....so she did-and so you know-he had the nerve to ask her to give it another chance? I choked-literally-on my drink! She said ITS OVER! 45 years of chances....he said he is in anger management now-well, yeah you are-cause you are being charged with assault and battery on 2 women you assaulted-thats the ONLY reason! As soon as court is over, he will stop going. He doesnt know it yet-but when he goes to court-he is going to be served his divorce papers. Since mom didnt know where his address was going to be-her attorney is having him served there.

Anyway, Mom was talking to Carl and I was going through one of those coupon books (those little chunky monthly ones) and came across a coupon that said in great big letters that said- GOT PAIN? and I showed it to her...next to it-it says WHY? I said because Eric and Carl wont leave us alone......LOL....I showed it to mom and she started laughing out loud-because the page right next to that one-was for free estimates for insect repellent and home repellent!!! LOL......Gotta laugh about it, right?

I mean, I heard her tell him she just wants it to be over-there was NOTHING for them to discuss-no more chances its finished....and yet he still asked for the title to her car so he could go take a title loan out on it-and then told her that she owed him money for the last 2 yrs he had supported her-and she needed to start paying him 100 per month.....he needed 30 right now, cuz he is sleeping in his car...etc etc etc....OMG! Leave her alone already. So-we have decided that next time he calls me to get ahold of her-"I" am telling him that I am not giving her anymore messages, unless its truly an emergency-in which case I am his emergency contact. He will be told that if he continues to call my phone to contact her-that my phone number will be changed as well. Its going to be up to him. Its not an option for him to come out whenever he wants to. I made that perfectly clear. I wont listen to his whining. He made his bed.

Ok enough of my rambling about Carl and Eric....Ms Stephanie is upset because she wants to go on our trip with us-but SHE wants to make the trip about HER since SHE is graduating in May.....I told her that this trip IS about grandma and what SHE wants because she is in her 60s and she has ALWAYS wanted to go to Jamaica and a cruise and so this is a once in a lifetime deal for her-and this is HER chance-Stephanie was going to go-as a graduation present-but then, she wanted her best friend AND Spencer to go-and then she wanted it to be Key West and Disney and so on-so I am giving Stephanie the money and she can do what she wants with her friends and I can go with my mom and we will do what we want.

****Does anyone know when Hurricane Season is?***** I know we need to get the insurance anyway-I just wondered when the season is-so I can try and stay away from it...although, we know Murphys Law and Janet anyway....I will get that "fluke" deal-thats why I will take out the insurance-LOL.....any ideas or advice will be welcome and appreciated.  We dont want to do the Alaska type cruise this time. They are beautiful-but this time is going to be Bahamas/Carribean. Whatever will get us to Jamaica. I know I have a lot more research to do. Mom and I are going to get together on Friday and do that......

Well, I have to get off here and get some chores done and get to the doctors office.  I hope everyone is doing great and I look forward to seeing everyone. I guess I was a week ahead of myself-dang it! LOL....I guess I better back off. LOL.... See what happens when you get excited!

**Jan-Oh, Ok...I understand now. I guess its good for us to be "spirited" about what surgery we have, right? as long as they are all successful!  In the long run, its all the same results we are after, I assume. I would hope anyway. I know in every group there are the ones who just want to wear the bikini or who just dont want to excercise or whatever.....but for the most part-we are after the same results.....I can see us all living in harmony being "spirited" about that.

Cant wait to see you. Hopefully I will still be in one pc then!  Would love to go up to KC and spend some extra time with you guys! Would you mind? I will send you an email. We would rent a car. Will let you know-but that would let you know!  Tell Ms. Sugar I say hi. Miss seeing her.

Oh, and let me know if you end up doing a clothing xchange, cuz I do have clothes! I am still losing cuz of that Topamax Im on! 10# now in 8 days.

Makes me wonder what dosage they had you on....? Make sure and tell me if I forget to ask in the email-ok?  You can call me anytime hon-its my cell. Our house phone isnt a house phone-its just a landline for the puter only.  Its at&t and after 9 and weekends its free minutes. If you have at&t, of course, its free all the time-but I save my minutes and I can talk any time for free-so call me whenever and if Im not driving or ? I will answer. My little granddaughter is rolling over now! Can you believe it? She is getting so big. She was weighed yesterday and she weighed 12# 3 oz, and was 23 inches long!!  Still has most of her thick dark hair and her blue eyes and Lana sent her the cutest pink dress and hat you ever saw!! I cant wait for her to wear it! Wait till you see it! I WILL bring it to the meeting

Good morning to all.was pretty cool last night here but the sun is coming out now.look's like it will be a pretty day.

andy and i are going to plant some thing's around the front of the house today since we wont be home tomorrow.the doctor's office called me yesterday afternoon and they want me there by 830am instead of 900am.so we will be getting up a little bit early.we were going to get up by 230am so we could get ready have a protien shake and take our morning vit's.now we will have to be up around 145am.the ride service will be here around 345am to pick us up.i told andy i will sit in the back of the van and take a nap.lol.after tomorrow we should not have to go back to columbia for my 3 month check up.anyone else going to be in columbia tomorrow.i have a 2 hour class to go to after they check me in.i can hardly wait till they weigh me in to see if our scale is the same as our's.

jan i am starting to get cold at time's also.after i saw you yesterday i came back home and put my sweat shirt back on.any time you are feeling better with no knee pain we would be more than happy to have you walk with us.we are praying that the pain leave's your hip and knee's.that the weather stay's nice also.

Happy HumpDay! What a BEAUTIFUL day. Except the nasty bugs are coming out of hibernation.The flys,bee's and those nasty japense beetles that look like ladybugs except they are orange and bite LOL.
Thought i'd pop on and let ya'll know i'm still alive and kicken.
Was doin pretty good on eating then yesterday and today i've gotton sick 3xs.But think it was due to what i ate.Reheated fish yesterday and roast beef today.But other than that things have been going good.Strawberries are my new best friend.I love pineapple but it dosen't like me.I get acid reflux real bad after i eat it,So won't be doing it anymore.But it's all good long as they keep strawberries in stock LOL.Found sweet pickle spears that are sweetend with splenda and they are great.They curb the crunch craving.

Gail has a new hobby/passion/addiction LOL. he is going computerized this year for Christmas.He is programming music and programming the lights to go with the music.It is really awesome.Takes alot of time but when he gets it all done and the house and yard are lit up at Christmas it will be totally amazing.He bought a radio transmitter also,so people can hear the music in their cars.Pretty cool.

Nikki will be 7 next fri so we will be having a b/d party next weekend.So that'll be fun.

Wow...I'm beat.  As I posted in the Eatin' Good thread, I managed to get thru 27 boxes today.  I'm guessing that I have about 400 more to go thru and that's not an exaggeration.  I plan on counting so I can see how close my guess was.  I'm not sure how I'm going to get thru them all before the sale, but I have to.  Hopefully hubby will be able to help when he starts his vacation since it doesn't look like they are going to strike anytime soon.  I sure need his help.  Yes, he was her only child so we get to do it all.  I'm my mom's only child, too so we'll get to do it again when she dies.  But she's not a pack rat and her stuff is nice.  I'll just call an auctioneer.  Mark's aunt doesn't have any children and Mark is her executor so when she dies we'll get to do this yet again.  Glad I have TWO kids....haha.

I thought of something today!  For those of you that are coming up for the sale you get to meet Mark!  He tries to be a tough guy but he's just a big ol teddy bear.  I'm sure he's a lot like you imagine.  I can't wait.

The weather was gorgeous and should be even better tomorrow.  If I can get my rear in gear and get out there early enough.  Hope it was just as pretty for all of you.
