Am Home-HAPPY EASTER

Hello Everyone. Thank you for your prayers and kind words. I finally got home on Thursday night around 5pm. To lay in my own bed was bittersweet. It was more comfy but I did not have side rails to help pull me up so I could turn on my side or get up out of bed. I also had to get a step stool to be able to get up and out of my bed. I did very well last night I think. I had a sf popcicle, 2 oz of rasberry jello, 3 oz of broth.
 I just wanted to give you a short shout out to say Hi and I am home!!

Beck good to see you back , was the Doctor sucessful in doing what he wanted to do?
are you limited on your foods and such since you just had surgery or are you able to eat less than you were.? hope it works for you...take care of yourself....do well and i hope that you are able to loose a bunch yet.....

Hello rebecca we are glad you made it home.there is nothing like your own bed.when do you go back for a check up to columbia?andy and i will be there on thursday the 16.it is my one month check up.i have to be there at 900am.maybe we will get to see each other.if not this time another time.have a good day.we are praying for you.god bless.susan.

Hello everyone. The doctor says it is very hopeful. I am having to start out from scratch in regards to my eating. It is like I never had the surgery before. So I am on my clear liquids. To look at normal food makes me sick right now. Which is good. I had sf jello, my special k protein drink, caffeine free tea, chicken broth. I weighed but it says i have lost nothing. I am not getting to worked up yet.
 I go back to the doctor on Thursday 16 at 8am to see exactly how well I am doing and to get this JP tube out along with stiches and staples.
