WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

I sure hope today will be as pretty and sunshiny as they are saying it will be....we have to get the rest of the fence up and get the plants in the ground....i am praying that we will be able to. 

Didn’t do much of anything today...except dig up the cane that Joe planted a couple of years ago and it is in the wrong place so needed to dig it....and replant it somewhere.

Hopefully it is in a good place now....

 

Everything here is so green now... the only trees that haven’t bloomed out is the Oaks and the black walnut....so we are in the spring even if it doesn’t feel like it. and the grass , oh my go**** is growing at an alarming rate....looks like super grass....Joe wants to mow but it stays too wet...i told him not to worry about it. it would soon be dry and he could mow and then it will be every week.

 

Where was everyone at on Friday, planning their Easter week end? I don’t guess anyone will be down for Easter. Granddaughter and hubby and babies are in Indiania...his parents paid for gas for them to come up ....Ryan has been laid off at his good job he had at the can factory in Mt Vernon. That is so sad, I really don’t know what in the world they will do if they don’t call him back to work soon....he says if they don’t he is going on unemployment and will go back to college and get a bunch more hours done. Don’t know how much he lacks getting his degree. He wants to teach but I told him do not do them online you know how hard that is to do with little babies in the house....go to school like it is a job, go for 8 hours a day if you have to...get the stuff done...dont piddle.

 

I wanted to plant a bunch of shade plants that I got in the mail yesterday, but it was just too cold to be digging in the dirt....so guess I will get that done  today...will see ,,,,what the weather is ...suppose to be sunny and warm but who knows what will come..

 

 

SUSAN::::::: it wont be long now before you come off all those meds . then you will really start feeling good....did you say she wants you to keep taking your  insulin or just wants you to keep it for right now...she probably is afraid to tell you to get rid of it herself and wants your diabetic doctor to do that....they are all so afraid that they will get sued nowdays....

Man I hope we have a good day tomorrow to get this garden fenced and planted ...

 

I hope Andy starts to feel better , that has to be painful.....hang in there man ...

 

Oh meant to tell you we had one of the sweet potatoes for supper. Well Joe had ¾ of one and I ate the other ¼  it was so so good...good flavor...

 

I cant wait till I hear yelling over from your house lol...better call me and let me know what all the ruckus is lol

Ive got the planting times from the extension office but I was just wondering if the farmers almanac matched up with it....it does some but not all. I found it online  but anyway will go by what the extension office

Good morning to all.how is your weekend going for you all so far?we got some frost and fog here last night.look's like it is starting to clear out.andy and i and joe and jan want to work in the garden today.if we soon dont get these plant's in the ground we can eat them like they are they are getting big.lol.

jan so far i am off of the insulin.i have to see my diabetic doctor on the 22 of this month.i know he will be happy.my 3 month blood sugar number's have been high in the past.11 point's to 12 point's.the last time i saw him i think my number's were 9.5.when i saw doctor bridge's on thursday my 3 month number's were down to 6.6.i have not seen that number in a long time.she faxed a copy of my lab work to my diabetic doctor.she told me to call if he change's anything.

glad you like the sweet potatoes.we know they are soo much better for us than the white one's.let us know when you are ready to start the garden.we are ready to help.

susie how was your friday?i know you are ready for tax season to be over.they should quit changing thing's around and leave them as they are.i think i will be ready for a new bathing suit by the summer.i have not had one on in a long time.i can hardly wait for my one month app on thursday.to see what they have to say.i am only 4 pound's away from having 20 pound's off since they weighed me last.that would make it 40 pound's total.

lou you sure are looking good.are you ready for easter.this month is flying by soo fast.we will be seeing you and your mom soon.

Just planning a lazy Saturday. I may try to plant my elephant ears today but the ground is so wet I am not sure its the best time. I bought an orchid and some plumeria in Hi and figured I would give the a go. I have to keep them inside of course in pots but thought I would try. They smell so good when they bloom. I am usually not good with plants. I tend to kill most of them. I believe the ears need to be in part shade,hope thats right.

I think Angie is in St Louis ,haven't heard from Karen or Lynette, Guess they are busy with grandbabies.Marylin is out and about ,she has more energy. Wish I had that much. So where is everyone else? When is our next BBF meeting? We could have it here if we need to. Not sure if I could get the card lady on short notice but we could have lunch at least. Guys let me know what you think.

Haven't looked to see how the daffadils and tulips did last night. It got cold here. I hope the wind kept the frost at bay.It time to warm up here. I am tired of being so cold. I am hoping the summer heat will be easier to handle this year with my weight loss. I will try not to complain about the heat anyway.

Good morning!  Isn't life wonderful!  This is a beautiful day, I'm working today and then having a bunch of friends over tonight for a beergarden party.  We are going to grill some burgers and chill.  I have the best friends and family and I'm excited to see everyone tonight.  I'm writing a contract on a house Monday and there are only 3 days left of tax season. YAY!  I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.  Seeya soon at the meeting ;) Life is like a garden .....dig it!
