Happy Easter Everyone

I watched “The Ten Commandments" last night.  After reading it about in our daily reading awhile back a lot of sure made more sense.  Was so cool to see it played out just like we had read it.  Especially the parting of the Red Sea, wow that was awesome, it brought holy ghost bumps on my arms.  I love watching shows like that on the bible, even though I’ve seen them so many times; I always get something new out of them. I hope everyone has a  blessed Easter Sunday, remember the real reason for today, “He IS Risen".

Today’s Reading

Joshua 5:1-7:15
Luke 15:1-32
Psalm 81:1-16
Proverbs 13:1

Daily Devotional

Matthew 28:6
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."

Jesus is Risen! That's what we celebrate today and everyday! The cross is bare and the tomb is empty. His victory over sin and death provides each of us the opportunity to start over – to make a fresh, new beginning.

As Christians, we believe in new beginnings. Jesus gave us unconditional love and unlimited possibilities. He doesn't care what you've done in the past; only about your future.

We hope that during this Easter season you find your way to a group of caring people, dedicated to worshiping the risen Lord, reaching the lost, praying for your needs and helping you discover God's perfect plan for your life.

A Prayer for Today: Lord, I ask that you refresh my soul this Easter. I want Jesus to come alive in my heart to resurrect my hopes and dreams and lead me to the new beginning that is Your gift to me. Thank You for delivering me from sin. In Jesus' name – Amen.

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
