WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

I think all my pretties survived , none the worse for the freezing cold weather....Thank you Jesus...i ran out of pots and straw so several of them didn’t get covered at all and they look as good as the ones that did. So now I know that Hostas and most all of the early risers don’t matter to them how cold it gets. Lol Even the Lady Banks rose looks ok...

Any of you that prayed for my flowers thank you for your intervention before God too.

 

Just got a phone call from the post office said they had a big box that wouldn’t fit in my mail box , I told them to drop it at the base that we were home and would get it....it is my fruit trees that I ordered. They aren’t very big and will take a couple of years to get up there but we will baby them this year and next ...once they get their root system going they will be fine ....someone said well it will be a few years before they produce , yeah that is true but the years are going to go by anyway so no problem....

 

I have got to get a raised bed made for my rhubarb plants too....i love rhubarb, I have a recipe  for Rhubarb cake it is really really good I will have to see if I can make it with splenda...and maybe whole wheat flour...

 

Got the fruit trees planted, Thanks Andy and Joe for helping me ....they whipped out those holes for the trees quick as can be.... 14 fruit trees now planted all around the property lol peaches, apples, plums, nectarines, cherries,apricots,and pears.  All of the trees looked pretty good but the pear trees. I hope they make it but anyway we will see .

Also got some thornless black berry plants. Yummy...

 

Have to get the other bunch of strawberry plants planted,,,,whew....Sugar said that I was getting everything to  have a nice little farm , too bad I cant have a milk cow lol , no I don’t really want a milk cow, couldn’t drink her milk anyway....i guess Joe could.

 

We are suppose to be up to 70 today, that is good but then is suppose to start raining. Hopefully  Saturday is suppose to be pretty and in the high 60s maybe we can get our garden plants in the ground. Will see what Andy and Susan have to do on Saturday. And if it isn’t raining  we can maybe get stuff started out there.  I know Susan is too new out of surgery to do much but she can get a chair and come out and sit with us.

 

 

 

 

SUSAN::::: I hope you are feeling better today? How was your blood sugar this morning. You have done so good I guess you had to have a day or two that wasn’t great. Just keep on getting in your protein and water, if you don’t feel good  don’t worry about having to eat anything you can get your protein with your drinks and be sure and get the water in ...at this early time like this water keeps your body regulated and helps get rid of the toxins from losing weight so fast...Im praying for you so you will feel better today.

 

 

BEC::::::::isn’t that neat when people really can notice that you have lost lots of weight.sure wish you would quit comparing yourself to others tho....you are losing according to Bec no one else.

I have been reading a lot about vit D which isn’t a vitamen at all , did you know that? It is a hormone... anyway the amount needed to work all the things it needs to run is a lot ....a whole lot.

If your back pain doesn’t stop when you lose more weight , then try everything else before even looking at back surgery ok? I never have seen anyone that it really helps, seems they just trade one pair for another.

Hey your Paul is beginning to like flowers? Maybe he found a way to cook them lol

I do my laundry each night when I come it...i take a shower and throw all the dirty clothes in the washer and let it run....after I get out . lol  so don’t get behind in that so much but really get behind on house work lol but don’t really care , doesn’t bother me too much , bothers Joe more than me I think. So most of the time he is the one that sweeps  but then I feel guilty and start doing things too, even if I don’t want to lol

 

 

LOU:::::::sounds like you are more than ready to only be selling houses again....so it seems to be picking up? Do you think a lot of it is people with some money picking up houses sort of cheaper? Or are you getting a lot of first time buyers.

 

 

PEGGY:::::::so you like the idea of a WLS boot camp for a week? I do too  haven’t thought it all thru completely yet tho... we could be down here ...would be great. I have been thinking about  it . have the interest of quite a few really...

What did you find out at the gyno....what is going to happen....

Ohhhhhhh your partial list  of stuff you have to sell is so so tempting. I think maybe Sugar and I need to bring my truck , and may have to rent a u haul before im done lol

JANET:::::: well hello missy , you know your not suppose to worry your Aunt like you do. Im so so sorry about all your pain sweetie...I think you will get rid of some of your pain and I know problems if you have a hysterectomy....and they can do it lap. Now and some can even do it without any incisions at all...a lot different than when I had mine years ago. Was an incision from hip to hip then....

Poor Steph and her teeth...bad ones are a real pain.;... is She living with you now? And what happened to your ex when he had to go to court?i don’t think you have been on since you told us he had to go to court that day... 

Wonder why you have no results on your test yet, seems like they are dragging their heels there doesn’t it?  be sure and let me know what you find out....ok......

Give your baby a kiss for us....hope you feel like coming to the support meeting this month...i was so disappointed that you didn’t get there last month....i think we all were.

I can only stay on a minute or two cause Im running as usual but wanted to say Hi and touch base with everyone...

Hey sis, boot camp might be fun...maybe we could all dance to Zumba a couple times a day. lol! And you could go down and swim in the lake if you do it later on in the summer!

Im going to workout this AM and then going to get a massage and then...Im doing a body wrap that is supposed to cleanse you of all the toxins and help with service body fat (celulite)...really focuses on just making you feel better. We will see how it goes.

Good morning to all.did anyone get any frost last night.we got some here.our car is all frosted over.but now the sun is starting to come through.there is a dance you can do to get it to rain maybe there is one we all can do to get the sun to come out and stay around.lol.

andy and i have some errend's to run today in branson but before we go he is going over and let jan take his picture soo he can post it here on the board.he is really looking good.i have to keep a eye on him.lol.

yes jan i am feeling better today.thank's for asking.i see doctor bridge's tomorrow.i will see what she had to say about my blood work.my sugar is doing better.it dropped to 54 about 200am this morning.it is back up to 70 now.i am going too take my blood sugar testing meter with me today so i can keep a eye on it.it is small enough to fit in my purse.

we will be home on sat.we love to help in the garden.even if it nice tomorrow when i get back from town i can help out there.i wont be that long.i think i will run into town myself.it is not calling for rain till late in the day.

lou your picture's look great.you have done soo well.we know you will be glad to be back down to one job soon.both have been keeping you busy.thank's for the kind word's on how i look.i sure do feel better.

Good morning Missouri!  Whew, I sure woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.  I was just plain MAD for a while.  And I really don't know why or for what reason.  So I drank my coffee, read my Bible (thanks Andy) and started a study on grace and I actually feel better.  Thank goodness because I have a lot to get done today.

Our church is doing a "Passion Week" series of services and I'm looking forward to tonight.  His sermons are on what Christ was doing each of the days leading to the crucifixion and resurrection.  Last Sunday was Palm Sunday and how He entered as King (even tho they didn't understand that He wasn't there to conquer Rome).  We will have services tonight, tomorrow and Friday night, too.  I'm looking forward to them.  I always seem to think that Easter kind of gets lost and it is so important!

Today is storage units!  I have to get out there and get some more stuff moved or I will never get done before the end of the month.  So I will need to get a few loads moved and then get home and get cleaned up for tonight.  I will do the same tomorrow if it isn't raining.  Silly weather.  At least it's warm today.

Well, I have to decide if I want to have a hysterectomy or an ablation.  And if I choose the former...do I leave the other stuff or have it removed also?  I struggle so much with my thyroid replacement that I really don't want to deal with another hormone pill.  Yuck....and then I have to decide when to have it done.  Since it's impossible to plan anything until the man gets his contract talks completed.  Still no strike but the workers are getting restless since the company won't give an inch.  They are trying to say that they are suffering like the auto industry.  HA.  AT&T posted a 12.9 BILLION dollar profit last year.  In spite of the economy tanking.  That sounds NOTHING like the auto industry....they really suffered.  AT&T didn't.  Corporations really frustrate me when they get thay greedy.  Course, unions frustrate me, too.  Guess I can't be pleased...lol.

Okey dokey....need to get a souffle' in the oven and head out of here.  Late starting as usual.  Oh well.  Maybe I can get a couple of loads moved.

Not having a good day....my closest sister N laws niece died yesterday and it is the first death in her immediately family. She was 32 and fighting breast cancer for 10 years. Of course they are all taking it really hard. Cooking food for everyone today to take to my SIL and her niece's family. The least we can do along with support and prayers for strength. Please keep them in your prayers. The visitation and funeral isn't until Saturday due to family coming in from Florida, Ohio and Indiana.

Have two track meets this week for the oldest DGD, Anissa. She will be 16 next month.
Just about froze at yesterdays meet. The wind is mean! Have another one on Thursday if the rain holds out.

The youngest DGD is 8 now, Morgan and she's in Soccer but, her games are on Saturday. I will have to miss them for the funeral.

Sorry for all the gloom and doom but, understand if I don't post for a few days please.

Well I got on the scale this morning and was surprised. I did lose weight on vacation. I think it was all those stairs on the battleship and the snorkling. I was a little sore after both so my muscles really got a good workout. I stayed home today and finished unpacking. I still have some laundry to do.
I had a great time away but it is good to come home. DH said he needed to get back to work so he could get some rest.
When is the big sale? I may have to join you guys. I heard something about chickens and it got my attention. Chickens are wild in Hawaii and are all over the place. I don't have a lot of room for any more in my kitchen but I might be able to find a place for a few. If I can I will go.
I hope everyone is doing better today and having good weather. I couldn't believe the snow Monday. We left here with snow and returned to snow. April is not a month I think of snow.I am hoping it will warm up and stay warm but I am not counting on it.
