Eatin' Good Monday.....Feeling puny...
Don't know if it's the weather or a bug but I sure felt puny today. Couldn't get warm and tummy was a rollin' and boiling for sure. Needless to say....didn't get a THING done....
Outta bed.....coffee
Tried to eat at noon....leftover rib (blech) and leftover phoenix roll (double blech)
Finally got 4 oz of cheese in thru the day. Snacked on a protein bar and some peanuts. Now I'm paying for that.
Dinner for hubby will be Chipotle Pork Mexican casserole. I don't think I want that. I may do a souffle' for myself. Sounds comforting.
HATE days like this. I felt worthless but oh well. Water was great and vits were non existant. I will get those back on track tomorrow.
How did you all do today? SUSAN!!!!!! You're melting! And it's nice to see those updated pics of you. We need a new one of Andy, now. I'm sure he has changed a lot with all of his weight loss, too.

Hiya Peggy,
Sure hope you get to feeling better. I've had one of those days myself, just cant get warm and feel blah, oh well it'll pass, maybe its this yucky weather, Im getting where I hate being cooped up inside.
Outta Bed - Hot Chocolate Protein Shake - Susan had a raspberry protein shake..
Lunch - Had a 1/2 cup of S.F. chocolate mousse. I wanted something different other then S.F. pudding so I took one box of S.F. chocolate pudding and only used 1 cup of milk instead of 2 and then added 1 container of S.F. coolwhip and put it all in the blender plus added 3 tbls of S.F. carmel flavoring, blended it all up and put it in 4 ramkins, let is et up a couple hours and had one for lunch, mmmmmmm turned out really yummy and something different!! Susan had 1/2 pumking/cream cheese souffle'.
Supper - I'll prolly have a protein shake of some kind and a S.F. popcicle later on, Susan will prolly have the same thing.
Water and Vitamins are on track for me, Susan isnt doin to hot on water today, gonna have to put a funnel in her mouth and pour it in hahaha j/k, we all have dayz like that.
Hope you get warm and feel better Peggy. I'm gonna ask Jan to take a few pics of me and i will post them, I've been meaning to do that and keep forgetting.
Have a wonderful evening.

Hi Andy....
Hope you're feeling better in the morning, too. And the chocolate mousse sounds yummy!
I have tried the pumpkin in a souffle' but I love your idea with the cream cheese. Bet that makes it extra good!
Get that funnel out and take care of that gal of yours! Can't wait to see your new pics.
Have a great day tomorrow and I hope you have a good night. Sleep well!

Hi Again Miss Pegg...
Going to tell you about yesterday now...
I was so disappointed
yesterday when I stepped on the doc's scale and weighed a whopp'n 10 lbs more then just an hour before on my scales at home!!! I just couldn't believe it!!! The lady in the lab swears that scale weighs you 10 lbs heavier than her dr.'s office so I don't know... I just know the #'s looked discouraging!
That and how I felt physically let me know I needed to cut back on the total liquids and change again. I felt bad enough that I knew I was not going to be able to stick with the total liquids for another 10 lbs. On my scales I am so very very close but then who's scales is right? ~ha
So.... yesterday I had 40 grams protein in the isopure... and then over two different attempts 6 oz of grilled chopped sirloin and a few sauteed button mushrooms and then two meat/cheese roll ups and a 1/4 of a cup of cottage cheese, after I got done exercising.... don't know how much that was but know it had to be close to 80 grams.
I guess if I keep working at this I will find what works for "me". I know the doc said he would like to see me weigh in at the 200 lb mark in three months when I go back... I sure hope I can do better than that but then I just have to accept that if I do my best I need to be happy with that! Right? ~tee hee It helps to keep your eyes off the scales too.
I was very happy with the amount of weight I lost last week on the liquids for sure!
12 lbs! (on my scale) sad part was that was about only the diff on the docs scale!
Oh well... all in all I'm 12 lbs lighter doesn't matter whose scales. Figure in a few lbs either way for fluctuating and then you have something else to "think" about! Egads!
~tee hee
Today will be food again and then two days of liquids... wonder how this will work?
My goal for this week on the food days is to actually make my meals and set down to the table and eat and not grab something on the run... that's almost bigger than doing the liquids as I could grab the liquids on the run. That will be a huge undertaking to make a "habit" of this. I've not been good at that since my girls left home when I had to make actual meals. It's easy to fix Paul something and give it to him since I do not usually eat the same things as he does.
Thanks for doing this post Peg... it helps me to "think" thru this process and others input helps as well!
Have a good day!

Ooooooo....I HATE scales!!!!! Just try to find one set and stick with them. Since you are at home more than at the doc I would judge your loss by yours. That way you won't do the evil "I'm such a failure" bit and want to give up! (Which we really can't do but we can sabotage our efforts!) Just give yourself credit by the scales at home.
Now don't get frustrated if your weight yo-yo's a little with the change up. Our bodies are amazing things and adjust quickly to changes. That's why when I was a little more disciplined (I feel something coming on here....uh oh) I would do what you are doing in order to get my body to keep from adjusting. I hope it works for you. (I just realized that I sort of 'gave up' when I had my thyroid removed and gained so much. I'm not really trying anymore since I have an "excuse". sigh....amazing how the Lord is taking your experience this past week and getting my attention. double sigh)
I'm sure you've created and are creating a new habit and you will really start thinking thru this again. Isn't amazing how easy it is to forget?
Well, my dear....once again you have inspired ME to step back and take stock of my own situation. Sometimes God just has to get my attention. I think this goes back to my "rebellion", my refusal to surrender and my control. Yikes....gonna be a LONG day. LOL...
Love you kiddo!!
