Eatin' Good Sunday.....STILL COLD

This is the never ending winter.....now there we are expecting a hard freeze tonight and to cover plants.  And I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't 90 degrees 3 weeks from now!  I love spring so much and I think it's gonna pass us by...

My day....

Outta bed...coffee

Oops....no breakfast

Lunch....w/friends after church at New Taiwan.  I ate 1/2 an egg drop soup, 1/2 phoenix roll, 1 crab rangoon, 1 small spring roll and a little of my shrimp w/lobster sauce.

Needless to say I haven't been hungry this afternoon and Oscar is rumbling and rolling.  Not sure about dinner, yet.  But definitely some protein.

Water is pretty good.  I will drink more while we are watching "Bolt" later.

Just tired of the cold and rain/snow as I am sure we all are.  No strike yet but that could change at any minute since negotiations are going nowhere.  I will probably move a few boxes on my own tomorrow.

How did you all do today?  A note to "ccsrn" (I don't know your name...sorry).  I saw your post for Friday about the souffle'....it's easy to make and easy to digest.  If you would like I can send you the way I do it or you can look thru my previous posts.  A lot of us like it and change it to suit our tastes.

Post away!!

Well hello there, fellow lurker.  I lurked for a LOOOONG time!

I am going to make an assumption (and you KNOW what they say about assumptions...lol), since your user name has the word "short" in that you may be vertically challenged as I am!  If not, it's such a cute name!

Hope to "see" you around and take care!

Susan....I just want to note that you are doing an AWESOME job at this.  You have bounced back so well and do not seem to be having a lot of difficulty at this point.  It tickles me pink to see it working so well.  I can't wait to see your skinny self if you all get to come up  at the end of the month!

I haven't decided about the farm....but I really should since I have got to get it done!  I may just haul boxes and not try to do any cleaning yet.  Cleaning won't matter if I don't get all the stuff there, now will it?

Love you and have a fantastic albeit freezing day!

Well Miss Pegg...

I finished a full week of liquids with only two servings of meats... the bad day at Lowe's and then one social setting where I had 10 medium grilled shrimp... other than that it was all liquids... three shakes a day and all the other liquids to get in between 100 and 120 oz. got in the vits and more exercise than usual.

Hope to keep it up till I can say I've lost 100 lbs.  and DANG I hope that's soon!!!! ~tee hee  This has not been easy but not too bad till I had to make Paul something and then "watch" him eat it... the past couple of days I have been giving him his food and then leaving... just can't take that.  But other than that I've just had to pray and be strong when I am low.  The Lord is helping me but He sure isn't handing it to me on a "silver platter"  but then if I think of all we have read just this year already in Andy's readings then I can expect to have to be "disciplined" and then the reward and blessing will come!  It seems to be His way? huh?

Any whoo... will just keep keeping on I suppose...

Boy oh boy did that crab rangoon sound good!!!! I LOVE THOSE THINGS!!! Makes me just drool at the thought of it! ~ha  You could of had two one for me!!! ~tee hee

Have a good day my friend and don't work too hard.

Ok my love....I KNOW you have set your mind on this and that is working for you, especially since we've been studying so much on discipline and rebellion.  But I sure hope you aren't going to make yourself sick.  Now might actually be the time to consider going back to foods....slowly, like when you were new.  I'm NOT saying that because I know more than you or want to deter you from your mission, but SOMETIMES when you do liquids then switch back to foods you actually trick your body and it drops weight.  Then again, I know some of us try that and it backfires and they will initially gain.  So I truly don't know a thing!  I do know you still love me, tho!  (right???)

Anyway, I just know you are exercising a lot and I don't want your body to hit starvation mode.  You have a certain amount of calories to keep that from happening.  When your calories aren't high enough then your body won't let go of the weight, no matter what. I just can't have you ill, especially since I know you're already run down.  And yes, if the Lord is leading you to do this, then yep, it's His way!!!  Ok, enough lecturing!!!

The crab rangoon was pretty good...just a little sweeter than I prefer.  And the fried wrapper I usually pick off and just eat the inside.  We went with the boys from our class and MAN can they eat!  They shared a whole appetizer platter, then ate their whole meals with rice and one of them also ordered an order of crab rangoon (6) and ate all of them.  I wanted to bust!  But they are good boys and make me laugh like a goof.  Have to love them all.

Have a great day today my girl!

Hi Miss Peg...

I LOVE YOU! You can be ever so free to say what you feel to me and I won't be offended at all...it's wonderful you care enough to do it!

You were right... I KNEW yesterday it was time to change it up again after the long week of liquids... after praying about it I think we (the Lord and I ~ha) have come up with something that might just work for a bit now... I am going to eat high protein and one shake a day on the days Paul is off and try doing the liquids (three shakes)on the days he is working... that's basically two days on, two days off, two days on, three days off... something like that.... it is much easier to do liquids when Paul is working and I can just have something prepared to warm up for him after work and not have to set there and watch him eat... and that would keep me always switching it up so maybe I will be more consistant with the weight loss and not have such long stalls?  I don't know if that will work or not or if I can hold up to it but any way I'm going to try it and see?  With eating those days maybe I will not get so weak and sick feeling?

Anyway... thank you for being concerned for me... it helps me take a look at what I'm doing and helps me keep a level head!

Yes, Yes, I do still love you my friend!

Bec
