WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

Oh my gosh is this winter never going to end..???????? Please God we have all had enough , help!!!!

I spent all day Sunday putting staw and pots and buckets on all my lilies that are up and peonies and hostas, and several other things that are fairly tender. I don’t know if the weather will bother them but want to be save rather than sorry....

We have tried to wrap and cover the Rose on the pagoda the lady banks rose...it happens almost every year ....it only blooms once a year and we get a cold spell around the same time ....it is loaded with buds I prayed over it this afternoon Bec....hopefully it was heard.

 

I didn’t get much of anything else done on Sunday . since it will be too cold to do anything outside today I may go to town and get some milk etc etc.i need to go by the doctors office and get the lab work scheduled that I need to have done. Seems like it is always something....

 

I got an email from Sugar yesterday so I guess she has gotten her computer fixed now. So maybe she will tell us hi on here....

Wanted to tell you that you really looked cute this morning with your new hair. Lol

 

Fresh veggies always sound good to me a whole lot better than meats , I know we are suppose to eat protein first but the veggies are so good.

BARB::::::: WOW lots of money but is so fun when you have that connection with a granddaughter isn’t it?  you are right it is priceless...lol I don’t blame you for not wanting to buy the holey jeans....tell her she can go to goodwill and buy some and cut them up all she wants to.

Hello to all.monday morning already.the weekend sure went fast.i could not sleep so i thought i would go ahead and post.sure did get cold last night.when andy and went to church yesterday it was sunny and 65.when we came out of church it was down in the 40's already and the sky was getting dark like it was going to storm.we did get some rain just before daylight yesterday.did any one else get any.

jan thank you for taking those picture's of me yesterday.i like them andy does too.he is going to try and get them on here for me.you and andy can tell where i am losing weight.i sure am feeling better.

barbara glad to hear baby is doing better.our two kid's stick to us like glue.how old is baby?our's are 13 and 12 year's old but they still act like little puppy's.did you get your laundry done.it will never end.just the time you empty the laundry basket it is full again.

bec is tito mad at paul because the chicken's are taking to him.if our mecko is sitting next to me chrissy will not sit next to me.she does not like it when someone else sit's next her mom.lol.
those black pant's you gave to me the size 24.when i first put them on they fit but a little tight.now they are too big on me.i can hardly believe it.the dresses i found in my closet to wear next sunday for easter i think will be too big for me also.i told jan pretty soon i will be cleaning out my closet and giving some nice outfit's to some one else.

janet where are you girl.we miss seeing you on here and all the other's who have not posted in a while.

I know what ya mean about praying on those roses... ya just gotta! It sure worked for me on the hydrangeas... I had spent boat loads of $$$ on them in the past and it was the $4.50 small clearance ones that have done good?  Go figger!  But then I didn't pray on the others either! ~tee hee

Boy was it a busy little day... I went out and walked... and then went to see a neighbor... was just going to stop in for a bit and introduce my self to a lady that had RNY and had lost I think she said 150 lbs... and do you know I was there over 5 hours!!! chatting up a storm!!!  Was nice to meet so many new people.  And her sis was there... she had the lap band and had lost over a hundred but was losing much slower she said.

I pulled my little garden cart over to the meadow and got mineral tubs to cover my hydrangeas and hostas and other things.... I put 12 of them in my cart and boy it was all I could do to pull it... 

I'm not near as "beefy" in strength as I used to be... and I even do the weights... not big ones but I guess I just don't have the sheer weight behind me as much as I used too and I can sure tell the difference.

I have my 6 month labs drawn this morning and want to talk to the Dr. about several things as well... possible diabetic shoes, hormones, back pain etc. etc.  Will see here real soon how my iron is doing? Since I think I am probably anemic... I just feel run down but then maybe it is the exercise.

Susan ~ no Tito has not been too jealous of Paul and the "ladies" just yet but when Paul starts carrying them around on his shoulder I know Tito will want to be carried too! Right now he thinks he's the boss of them!  We named the one that is the most friendly "Tess" she sticks out way far and above all the others... she is the biggest and comes right to the door when you open it and the others don't so much.  Looking at this young age to be a possible "WLS" candidate! ~tee hee

I still have not gotten my strawberry plants in the ground I guess that is a good thing beings this freezing weather huh?  Hopefully we can do that very soon.  May have to go to Springfield on the weekend so Paul can lay out a job he is going to be doing for his sister... some type of gazebo add on.  He needs to draw up the plans and get supply lists and things done...

I still have all that mulch in my puddle jumper so I guess I better go out there and unload it before I go to the Dr. here in a few hours... I get so tired of being tired and then not being able to sleep... I went to bed at 9:00 and was wide away and 12:30 I tried to go back to sleep and laid there till 1:30 then I just had to get up!  Now I will be extremely tired by afternoon... have and appt in town at 2:00 p.m. so will have to stay in there till then.  I will be so tired tonight maybe I will sleep all night this time?

I did get all my laundry done....Yea, but it will start all over today...LOL

Jan, yes lots of money but, she needed the clothes and we got everything on sale so could have been worse..LOL  Great idea on getting her jeans at goodwill and making her own holes with one exception.....she'll wear them!!!   Hate seeing her in them. Can not get use to that look and call it good.

Susan.....Baby turned one in December...she is really young. She was only 5 months old when my sister died.  She has been through a lot in her young life.  Can't wait to see your new pictures. You are doing a great job.

Today is clean house day and try to stay warm also. Had let the wood stove go out so, will start that again today. I need to make an appointment with my Dr to draw blood for Dr. H for my annual checkup.

Good morning friends, long time no chat!

Soon after getting my new puter all hooked up and running we had that awful thunderstorm with the horrific lightening and it ran in on my modem and fried it...and 2 phones in the shop too! Well, Im just thankful that I have a built in computer geek patrol in Mimi's son Steve. Hes excellent if anyone close by here needs work done. He also has an awesome Christian music group, newanointingmusic.com if anyone is looking for a group to come to their church or Christian event...  Okay! enough of the fan club!

What has everyone been up to? Fill me in and I will get back on later...

Got to go exercise this morning! Am picking up 2 freinds and taking them with me... One is going to have wls this month and her name is Vicki so pray for her...dear lady that you all will love as soon as I can get her on here! lol

Jan, girl, you are trying to make my head explode!  First Bec mentions the "new" you and I have to fight this silly computer to get it to load and then you're back the other you!!!  You just love to keep me guessing!

Well, winter is still here.  I know eventually spring will win, but I really think it will go straight to summer.  I love spring....everything is so fresh and new and I can open windows and turn off the furnace.  Not this year...at least not yet!  And I know when it does get hot my hubby will want the a/c turned on.  He works outside and wants to come home to a cool house at night.  Hopefully we will still have a spring and it won't get too hot too soon.  Hey, a girl can hope!

No strike yet.  They are working without a contract and not too happy about it.  The official vote was over 88% and the negotiators are not doing what the members voted.  Since the whole thing is orchestrated, tho, I look for it to happen soon.  No, we don't get a paycheck when he walks, but strike pay starts on week 3 (they are only thinking 2 weeks...that way the union won't have to pay) and it's not much.  Health care will remain until the end of the month then if the strike isn't over we are without health care until it is over.  We will be ok, I just worry about our son (he's prepared for a month) and the others who didn't prepare.  They've been talking strike for over a year, so we knew to get ready.  Those who live beyond their means are the ones who will be in trouble.  Kind of like the housing crisis.   Spending more than they make.

Well, I need to get my studying done and figure out if I can fight the cold and wind to move some more boxes.  Don't WANT to, but sure have to.  Still trying to figure out the best way to advertise, too.  There is so much stuff and I want to appeal to a large group in order to get the stuff gone.  I know I will do Craig's list and some newspapers.  Hope that will be enough.  Any suggestions?
