Evening all.....this old brain let last night completely slip by.  We rushed to band practice and stayed for Bible study and prayer.  Then rushed home and fixed dinner and watched 'Lost' then it was time for bed....

Outta bed.....coffee

Noonish.....slice of frittata (baked omelet) and 2 oz cheese

Snacks.....protein bar, sliced turkey w/cheese (about 3 oz total)

Dinner....pineapple/brown sugar splenda protein souffle' since I don't have to cook for hubby.  He's at a union meeting....they are talking strike.  We'll see.

Water is pretty good (need more) and we won't discuss vits.  I cleaned house today and rearranged our bedroom (sorta).  I also ran up and down the stairs doing laundry.  Tonight is Survivor and CSI....yay.

How did you all do today?  Newbies, pre-ops, old timers (like me)?  Post away!!!

Good Morning Peggy Poo!

Well today is day 5 of the liquids and I'm thinking I have gone into a full fledged case of ketosis as evidence by I was quite sure something had crawled in my mouth and died while I slept last night!! EWWWWWW!!!!  it was terrible and I was in the bathroom scrubbing and scrubbing and using FULL strength Listerine over and over till I got rid of it!!!

I know I'm not going to Wal~Mart and walk while I'm on liquids again!!! If I ever get tired of meat, eggs and cheese again... I'm going to just stop and remember  all delish looking meat I passed in all those cases and be glad for it!  Heck even the raw asparagus was looking tantalizing! Well... all the stuff I DON'T like was looking yummy as well! ~tee hee

Sounds like you had a good eating day, and got things accomplished too.

Are we dancing tonight? I am praying for your hubby's job. Know that must be a bit scary for you both.

I have gotten in between 100 and 120 oz every day (way lot for me) and of coarse the exercise  and vits all good as well.

I have been making cuppacino shakes twice a day and then the protein caramel hot choc at night... that is kind of keeping me sane  about the food thing in the evenings if that's possible. ~tee hee  Boy you can't EVEN watch anything on T.V. that some wonderful looking food comes on every few minutes!

The sun is shining this morning and that makes me feel so much better... even though it is still cold out there...that sunshine lifts the spirits!

Have a good day my friend.

Well hello, my friend!  Are you about done with the liquids?  Just wondering what your plan is...sounds like you have stuck with it!  And the visual of you scrubbing your mouth was priceless.....you make me laugh!

The strike is pretty much on and the company has planned for it.  They have pushed out jobs and have over 1400 orders.  So if they strike it will be for two weeks to a month.   And then when they go back, they will probably be on service emergency for a while.  That will add up to 7 to 7, 7 days a week.  The money is great but the crankiness of the man is not!  We will be fine, our son (who also works for AT&T) may have a little trouble and there are tons of guys who spend more than they make and they will be in lots of trouble.  But we've known for a year that this was coming.  The one good thing is that if they do strike he will have a lot of time to help me get ready for the sale!!

The sun shine is nice....I hope it warms up a little.  And we dance tonight, if he gets off on time.  This session is about over and we won't have another until September.  I would like to get our friends out once in a while this summer and try to remember all we have learned.

Love you kiddo and have a great day!
