Howdy all....was nice to see so much sun today and all the snow is now gone.  The sump pump ran all day but we sure needed the moisture.

Had to meet my hubby for lunch since he totally forgot his meds this morning.  What is really strange is that he forgot to eat!  We have been together 27 years and I have NEVER seen him forget to eat!  Kind of messed up my day but I still managed to get most of the furniture back in it's place.

Outta bed....coffee

Lunch...sweet & sour chicken, about 3 oz and couple bites of rice.  Shouldn't have had the rice....Oscar didn't like it.  Brought the rest home so Mark can take it for lunch tomorrow.

Snacks....2 strawberries dipped in splenda, 2 oz cheese, protein bar

Have absolutely no clue for dinner.  Kinda depends on what the man wants.  But my water is great and vits are really good.  They are so much easier since I take my Synthroid in the middle of the night.

How did you do today?  Good choices or just ok?  Get all your protein and water?  Post away!

Good Even'n Miss Peg...

Oh boy I had quite a day....

All vits in with 8 0z of water each of the 5 times.

2 Orange Julius protein shakes 10 oz  each

20 oz water while I was walking the second time...

8 oz cup of hot apple cider

and will have a 10 oz protein hot choc here in a bit...

That's a whopp'n 98 oz of liquid today!!! and 85 grams of protein  Oh Yippee!

I walked twice today to the tune of 7.5 miles and I made about 10 trips to the "upper room" today cleaning up some of the garage.  So I think I did pretty well...  It sure was windy out there today and is suppose to be colder tomorrow to I believe.  I think I will drive for at least one of my walks tomorrow.

I felt the Lord with me today helping me to follow the plan I had set for myself.  And I wasn't too hungry either... at least not too bad... and certainly not as bad as I would have been before surgery!

Two ladies stopped me on the road this morning and said "we wouldn't even of recognized your back side" I guess that's good but sure was a funny choice of words don't you think... I guess I got a compliment??? ~tee hee

I had to laugh at Mark forgetting to eat... I can never remember my Paul forgetting to eat either! Just doesn't happen! He is always telling me, "my belly i****ting my backbone" now any of you that know him know that's not true! ~ha

Glad you had lunch with your hubby and even got your furniture moved too.

Sounds like you had a pretty good eating day as well.  I'm so glad that medication time change is working well!

I'm off to take a shower, make my  hot chocolate and watch Castle... I kinda like that show.

You have a good sleep my friend and thank you for your words to me in Andy's post toady... I will be looking at what you said and giving it some thought.  Thanks Again.

Hey there Miss Bec....

I would've loved to have seen your face when your neighbors commented on your behind!!  I love how people think, cracks me up.

Wow on the liquids!  Are you doing all liquids for a while?  Sometimes I do that to keep my body in check.  Hope it gives you the jump you're looking for.  And I'm proud of your commitment.

And I was preaching to myself in Andy's post....just let you in on the discussion.  And we're watching Castle, too.  I'm really starting to enjoy it.

Love you dear friend and I hope you sleep well too.

Yes Miss Pegg...

I am doing liquids... I have tried that before and went thru headaches, nausea and the like and gave up but I decided I was going to just bite the bullet and do it this time as I've gotten sloppy... not necessarily with "what" I eat but how I eat it... I've gotten into the bad habit of grabbing food on the run and not setting down and eating meals like I should... it's way to easy to grab cheese... and I know I need to address that in myself right now before it gets way out of hand.

I've been working on making up a two week menu cycle so that I don't do this.... I need to give it some more attention and implement it so I am prepared and know exactly what I'm going to do.

So as I write this this morning I have a headache... I'm on day two now... hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will be past all this junk....

It's the pits to have to whip this ole body into subjection! over and over again but hopefully the rewards will be worth it?

Have a good day my friend.
