WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

I hope all of you saw my other post yesterday about the snow and  and your flowers etc...i thought it would be easier to do that than answer each of you that have a question...I think I included everyones questions but if not you can still email me and I will answer you about that.

 

I am making some pineapple brown sugar splenda soufflés...taste a lot like a pineapple upside down cake..yummmy....

 

A neighbor came by today and ask us if we would like to have some white bass.... of course I said yes ....they were really good for supper  I love fresh fish .

 

Sugar called me last night , I ask her why she hadn’t been on line ....well you all know that she got a new computer.....guess what? Lightening ran in on it and messed it up so I think my son was suppose to come out to day sometime. ....bless her heart.  Anyway she said to tell all of you hi...and she is feeling better. Still gets tired with exercising a lot but is doing ok....

 

Jus****ched the news and weather , sure isn’t going to hurt my feelings at all that we aren’t going to get this winter weather but hate that a lot of you are going to get it. Hopefully it wont stay on the ground long, since the ground is sort of warm maybe it will go away really quick...hang on and stay safe...and warm....

 

Well Joe got the truck fixed with a new exhaust system ...to the tune of 389.00 good grief... isn’t that a lot for a muffler and tail pipes??? The last time I had a car fixed like that I think it cost about 50.00 lol tells you how long ive been around huh?

 

 

 

BEC::::::: no sweetie the snow sure wont hurt the lilies,,,,they will be just fine...

And no it wont hurt anything that is in the ground.......hopefully tomorrow they finish the garden fence...Joe was piddiling and making us a picket gate to go into the garden...

I emailed the extension service today and he sent me a pdf file that is just full of info...when to plant what and how much to plant per person. And ones that are full of vit. A and vit C etc... so anyone that wants the info  send me your email address and I will try to email it to you...very interesting.

I know you are going to miss your little girl but it wont be long till you have them home with you for the summer will it?

 

 

SUSAN::::: take it easy girl...you know it hasn’t even been two weeks since surgery...so yeah you will have some pain once in a while and get tired easy for awhile....it will gradually get better and better and the walking well help you get stronger and stronger. I just wish I could walk with you all. Hopefully when I get something done about these knees and my hip I will be able to walk better. ...

Did you have a good visit with your dad? I hope he is doing well.

Keep up the good work , doing great with your protein and water so far , we want to keep you that way , you have what I wished I had when I had my surgery. I wished I had someone to give me what I needed to eat so I didn’t have to figure it all out . lol  so take advantage of it all.

 

 

SUSIE :::: well I hope you don’t see this and are on the plane or ship or what ever you are going on...i loved Hawaii when we were there. Would love to go back sometime...

 

 

JANET::::::: well hello missy . you have been missed a lot and all of us were so looking forward to seeing you and the baby the night of the meeting. But we do understand....

Hey let me know when you are having your big sale in the morton shed ok...please...i am looking to replace some things in my house with older things.

Sugar and I are going up to Peggys sale the end of April so don’t have yours the same time ok? Lol but please let me know when you are going to have yours ....

 

You know we all love you a lot...and I pray for you all the time about your pain issues.  I wish there was something that could be done about some of it and I know there just has to be if they would just do it....

Good morning to all.did anyone get any snow where you all live.we just got some heavy rain.hopefully it will not rain anymore today.i like walking outside and i know joe and jan would like to work on the garden fence.

i know i will have pain jan.when i try and bend to do something and i do it the wrong way my left side let's me know.i am moving around better and better each day.my liquid's are going down good.i had my first protien shake of the day and my vit's.now i am going to make my mug of flavored water to sip on.it is 32 ounce's.

my walking is getting better.my left knee does not hurt as much as it did before when i went to go walking.i have been walking the figure 8 with andy one time around yesterday i walked it twice.once in the morning and once in the afternoon.around 530pm rebel came over to the front door and looked in and said time to go for another walk.lol.he went walking again with andy and me.

jan thank's for asking about my dad.we had a nice vist with him.he is doing good.still has a room mate and he still seem's to be ok with that.we hope it will still work out.the nurses said he has had no more fall's since the last one.thank god for that.

janet good to see you back here on the board.we are praying for you to feel better.we know the doctor's can do something for you.we have to pray they start to do it.could please email me or andy with your address or megan's.we would like to send her something's we have here for the baby.

bec how are you doing today?we know you miss your daughter.school will be out soon.you need anything let us know.

peggy did you and your hubby get to go dancing last night?andy and i can hardly wait to see you and the other people who will be coming to your sale.

Hi Jan and all;

Just waiting for all this weather to hit us. Hubby was called into work this morning for a 12 hour shift. I was to go to a wedding shower today at 1PM but don't think I will go, it;s in Liberty and don't like to drive in the bad weather especially since the wreck. I am a big chicken!

Everyone must be hibernating already. LOL

Golly Wow!!! are we getting a pelting of rain this morning!

I'm so disgusted! "KILL" is on my mind at the moment!!!! (just kidding)  Do you know what happened?  I walked yesterday just out on my road in the front of the house since it looked like it was going to rain at any minute... well as you all know if I don't drive some where I have as many as 7-9 dogs follow me... well two new puppies followed me home... I tried to shoo them back home and thought they had gone... it was so muddy yesterday they had gotten me just a mess... so anyway I took my NEW shoes with NEW $10 memory/gel inserts off at the door and came on in... I was going to let them dry a bit before I drug them thru the house... well I bet you have already guessed what happened!!! Those stink'n puppies got ahold of them and chewed them up!!!! Paul brought them in this morning.  I guess you could say it was my own fault.... but DANG!!!! ok I got that off my chest ~tee hee

Well Jo left this morning... I'm sure glad Paul is off the next two days... maybe by the time he goes to work Monday morning I will be a bit more used to her being gone...? We had such a WONDERFUL time together!  Sometimes I wish I wasn't like this when they leave it sure causes me alot of sadness... but then I wouldn't trade what made me so close to them for all the sadness in the world! The Lord's goodness is sure more than I deserve!

Well Mimi... I sure hope the lilies are ok.. if it starts to freeze it's going to be bad as there is soooooo much water out there now! The lilies look like they are going to be sparse in that bed as I had such a large bed to cover but I know in years to come it will fill in if I can just keep all the weeds out it so it doesn't look bad.

I am very very anxious to plant my zinnias in those purple bow planters around the fountain and then watch them grow this season... I got dwarf ones so hopefully they will  be nice and full and not stringy looking?

I sure hope Suzy is having a super wonderful time in Hawaii!

Susan... every day I am sooo soooo proud of you walking... you can bet we sure can go for as much of a walk as you want to the next time you and Andy come for a visit! I guess when you called last Monday I was out in the garden and driving that dump truck!  I mean behind the wheel!! YEE HAW!!! I was sorry I missed your call.  But ever so glad you are doing so well.

Janet it sure was good to hear from you... know you are weary with all the pain and am continuing to pray you find just the right answers, what ever that is!  So wonderful that Meg and Arron got such a nice place too!  That's fantastic! Thank you so much for the pics of you and Mike too!  They are beautiful!

That is just too bad about Sugar's computer I hope she can get it fixed without too much trouble... I need to buy a good surge protector for mine one that lets the puter stay on when there is a power surge or glitch...

Well it is still pouring rain here and they say it is to turn to lot's and lot's of snow soon so I will have to walk inside today and wear even more of a "rut" in the carpet as Paul says! ~ha

I pray you all have a cozy day, hope the weather does not effect you all too much.. a good day to make a cup of tea, get a good book, snuggle down in a soft blanket and read.

Happy Saturday  Missouri Board.  Hope everyone is doing well, and that a few of you actually remember me since I haven't posted in a very very long time.  I am going to try to post a bit more frequently as I find myself needing some support in making good eating choices so I may get to know you all over again
