WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY
The guys worked on the fence till they discovered that they didn’t have enough fencing....so Joe has to go tomorrow and get the trucks exhaust fixed..so he will pick up more fencing tomorrow and then we will hope that it doesn’t rain Saturday so they can finish fixing that....then we can plant some of the cooler weather crops...like snap sugar peas and what ever else can be done....i will find out tomorrow..
I do have an appointment with the ortho guy Monday... Joe has an appointment to get another injection in his back on Monday so I was able to get my appointment on Monday too that way only one trip into town....
Well I don’t want to wish you all that live north of us bad luck , but I hope you keep the snow,they were saying 6 inches plus ...good grief that is a lot
I worked on getting all the leaves raked up out of the yard everywhere . and I had lots of trash stuff to burn up. Im sore lol

Boy the way you are going on losing the weight you will make your goal of 100 pounds by Sept....you are doing so great.and doing everything just right....I think it is probably a little easier for you since you have such an awesome support system in Andy....he is the ultimate support person.
I get excited about seeing you close up being new and all the weight you are losing. Keep it up girl you are doing wonderful. And sure we will take your picture anytime you want....You need to have Andy put those pictures on your profile . will help you see your self the way you are.
ANGIE::::: I am so glad that you are feeling better. That is awful the pain from an infected tooth....i had to have all my teeth pulled by the time I was 24 . maybe today they could have saved them but then I was just glad to get rid of them and rid of the pain.
Take care of yourself....i hope the rest of the infection leaves fast.....will keep you in my prayers.

SUSIE:::::Im thrilled that you aren’t going to eat any white potatoes anymore. I now would rather have a small baked sweet potatoe more so than a white one. , with a small pat of butter it is delicious. And ifyou are craving something sweet you can use one with a little butter , splenda and some cinn. Yummy good.

Will six inches of snow kill all the lily's you gave me that are up at least 6 inches? Boy I sure hope not! They are all up way more than anything else around here.
Well my Jo will leave tomorrow and I will not see her now till graduation, and then only for a few hours as she will hop a plane to Philly (she is going to a competition of some sort I think) the evening she graduates. I will miss her terribly. These girls come home and I get used to them and poof they are gone again... I am so thankful for EVERY minute I get with them! But I don't seem to ever get used to the "leaving" part. I don't want to grumble because I am so very thankful to the Lord that they are successful at what they are doing. Well there is my "mourning" for this time! ~ha Paul will be off with me till Monday so that will help some.
Boy Mimi I wish you did not hurt so bad. I know it is simply miserable. Sounds like the guys are about done putting the fence around your garden... it sure will be nice that the animals cannot eat up your labors!
I will be anxious to see if this snow hurts the taters and "snow" peas! ~tee hee "snow" peas! Kind of ironic huh? Neither are up yet as we just got them in the ground a few days ago.
Susy~ Have a good wonderful trip! How fantastic it is that you are getting to take this trip! And such a neat place to go too!
Susan~ the chicks are doing very well and eating poor Paul out of house and home nearly... there is one that comes to the door every time it is opened... comes right up to us... my guess is it would be the rooster if there is one or if not she is going to be the "boss"! ~ha I noticed yesterday when I opened the door that they were jumping up into the nests... they do not lay down but just jump in and out... they still get under the light to sleep. Anyway they are alive and well and seem to have stopped pecking on each other. Fun to watch. .... and Tito has taken to jumping right in there with them if he can get by with it... he figured out he could get up there... but I don't let him because it gets his feet... well... let's say less than desirable to come back in the house! ~ha But he is ALWAYS very curious and will run right up to the ones we take out for him to look at! The old busy body! ~ha
I'm so proud of you and Andy for the hard work of discipline you both are doing. It does pay off and you will be so pleased at the results!
Angie ~ I'm glad you are better, and hope you continue to heal up well.
Sandy ~ get a blanket, cover up and stay warm sounds like we are going to get some cold stuff for a bit here.

Good morning to all.did anyone else get any rain.we sure did get a down pour last night.look's clear here at the moment.this weather sure has been crazy.
i have to wow moment's.i weighed my self yesterday and i lost 4 more pound's since monday when i was at the doctor's office in columbia.one pound a day i can hardly believe it.i have lost almost 30 pound's since i started my liquid diet.my other big moment is i did not take any insulin since i left the hospital and yesterday for the first time i did not take any metformin and my fasting blood sugar this morning was 127.yheeeeee.
jan the garden sure is coming along nice.we sure will be helping you with it.i think there is one or two thing's andy and i like to add to it.we love fresh veg and they are good for you.cheaper too.
sandy sound's like your veg are growing good for you.parsnip's are good tasting.i like to boil them and eat them with just a little butter.
susie glad you like the sweet potot.they are better for you than the white.i never could eat the white because they alway's spiked my blood sugar.like jan said some with a little butter and cinn and they taste great.
angie glad to hear you are feeling better.i remember when i had to have my top teeth cut out.i still do not like having any dental work done.
bec sound's like you had a great time with your daughter.before you know it school will be out for the year.next time andy and i get to come and see you if you want to and the weather is nice we will go for a walk with you.i am getting better at walking.

Hi Auntie Jan and OH Peeps-
How is everyone? I hope and pray that you are all doing great. I MISS YOU GUYS!!! Things are starting to slow down and I have vowed to do better with my posting and my emails. I cant promise a daily deal right now, but I am going to get back "me" time and I will be better at this.
I know I can come here and be honest, and get support-so here goes.....I feel embaressed, because I feel like a broken record. Nothing ever changes, you know? My pain is so intense these days that I literally get NO RELIEF. I cannot even remember the last time that I had ANY relief. Some days are more bearable than others-but for the past couple of weeks, its just been down right unbearable. I have so much to do-and I force myself, most of the time-but-its just such a struggle and I am emotionally so exhausted because of the physical issues.
Ive had some doc appts. I went Monday for PCP and labs. Weds got a call-reordered labs and wanted them done again. Am waiting for those results to come in now. Went Weds for the Neuropathy testing. Dont have those results back yet. I go to new neurosurgeon/ortho for my back the end of April, and KC the beginning of April.
Ok-so....Im doing my best-but thats not going so well-LOL....I am so limited and find myself crying most days and just have all I can do, to take care of the basics.
Last Friday, Mike and I went to Eureka Springs to renew our wedding vows.......just he and I. It was so awesome. Magical. It was so overwhelming, because the kids came together and for our 10 yr anniversary they pd for our cabin and Stephanie let us use her sports car for the weekend. We were so overwhelmed, because we had something come up and all of our funding we had saved for that weekend was gone AND our Suburban ended up needing front end work, and we didnt have enough time to get it fixed... So, at that point, we had cancelled everything-and Megan and Aaron called the places and re scheduled everything for us, without our knowledge and my mom had gotten her back disability check and she gave us a card with some money in it, for food and drinks-WOW.... We NEVER asked, we never hinted-we took it in stride and just said we would stay home and watch movies or whatever and the boys were still going to go to Megans place......so-not only did they work all that out for us-but his boss-who is STILL NOT BACK TO WORK-gave Mike the whole day off on Friday-so we had 3 full days together! It was so awesome!
The pictures of the vow renewal are the best pics I have ever seen of myself-and of us together. I dont say that lightly-I still dont "like" pics of myself-but its getting easier-but these are really really good. I cannot wait to show them to you guys!
We didnt get to run around with the t-tops off because Friday I didnt want my hair to get ruined (LOL and look like a maniac) and Saturday it rained ALL day long, off and on....so Sunday on the way home, we took them off. Although we were very thankful that she lent us her car-its so low to the ground and all, that my knees were so bad from gettng in and out and the way I had to have my legs/knees-it was horrible. Saturday going down the steps to the car, my right knee gave out and I flew right into the side of the building with my face. That was such a nice treat! I was so mad. We were going to one of those old time photo places-so we went to dinner first, to allow my face some time for the swelling to go down and Mike had brought his knee braces-so I just wore one of his for the rest of the trip.
Besides the pain, Im STILL not sleeping more than 2 hrs at night. Even while we were gone-although, there I did get to take a nap-LOL and loved it, but, I think thats wearing on me too. Although, I tried 2 different sleeping aids now, and they didnt work. Not sure what we are going to do about that. My PCP gave me a list of things to try and I have done most already so will see how that goes.
Megan and Aaron have moved into their house-about 2, 2 1/2 weeks ago. My mom has the upstairs and its like its own apartment-door and the whole bit. The only thing she doesnt have up there is a stove and a shower. She loves it up there. They are still finishing getting all moved in-and we havent been able to help them out much-I basically go over and help out with Kenzie while they are doing the moving or organizing. Mike and I are just in love with that little girl! The boys feel the same way-they are so good with her-and no one acts jelous. Jon was getting a little "needy" while they lived with us for a couple of weeks, but other than that, it was all good!
Im sorry we didnt get to go to group on Monday. Besides the fact that I couldnt hardly move because of the trip and my bones and joints, Kenzie ended up at the dr ofc Monday morning and she had a yesst infection and was really congested. The pediatrician put her on some antibiotics and nasal sprays and then a spcial diaper rash cream.....she is still a bit congested, but a little better. I had to show Megan how to use that bulb on her nose-the one that suctions out stuff-cuz she wasnt doing it right, so it wasnt helping the little gal. So-now that she knows how-when she gets the nasal spray and it loosens up-she will be able to get that snot out of there.
We are also trying to get everything ready for the sale. Its going slower than we expected, because I cant do much right now, but I am marking a lot of things and then placing them in the boxes. Megan is having a sale in a couple of weeks at her place since she is in town and has a nice big back yard and then we are having the BIG sale out here in like 2 months, in the huge morton building-with Mom and Dad and then Grandma, Uncle Jessie and Aunt Mary-and they havent had a sale in 20+ yrs-you should see what is in the morton building already. Antique trunks and pie cabinets from the old days-LOVE IT....Im hoping I can afford it myself. Collectible Coca Cola stuff-and originals, not the duplicate stuff they are making now. Everything you can imagine from furniture, to electronics, building supplies of all kinds, camping stuff, kids furniture, you name it-and I gaurantee its in that morton building-LOL.... So, we are going to advertise like crazy because of where we are located at-and then I will take smaller stuff to Megans-and leave the big stuff here in the bldg.
We are under a winter storm watch right now. They are predicting that we will get anywhere from 2-7 inches-and since we are so close to the KS border, we may get the higher end of the inches! Oh well, glad its tomorrow and not next weekend, because Darrels bday is next Saturday and we are doing his party Friday night and he is having a sleep-over. I sure dont want to get stuck with 6 teen age boys-LOL.....Altho, they love their video games-but with my luck, we would lose power and so they would be bored out of their minds! If that should happen, I will run the generator just for them and their video games-LOL....
Well, I feel like I havent been able to say all I want to-but I have a lot to do right now. I have some calls to make and Jon isnt feeling well-the girls that he was playing with last week-ALL of them are sick with Strep throat and virus's and he has been puney, whiney and crabby for the 2nd day now.......So, I have to go and get some stuff done and get him situated....
**Jan-I sure miss talking to you! I missed you so much Monday and Sorry we didnt make it. Im not sure when we will be that way again, if we come before the next support meeting. We have talked about it. Im going to be emailing you anyway-have some plant, flower and garden ?s,,,,,,I hope all goes well with you and Joes dr appts next week.
