I’m like Bec, if the word we read gets any better I don’t know if we can stand it.  This has all been good from day 1, it just seems to get better and better.  It’s like reading the most interesting novel ever written, once you start reading it’s hard to stop and then you can’t wait to pick it up again and see what’s next.  This morning we went through the Ten Commandments,  I sat here and pictured Charlton Heston delivering the Commandments on the tablets.  Now if only we knew what Moses really looked like, you know for all we know he may have been a short skinny fella or maybe a tall big guy or maybe he does look like Charlton Heston.  I do know that is one of the most powerful movies I have watched, The Ten Commandments"  actually any movie based on the bible is great and always exciting to watch, I learn more about the bible watching it like that then I do reading, but anyway, delivering those Ten Commandments must have been so awesome for Moses, to experience the presence of God up close like that, wow!!  Once again the devotional goes right along with the reading and God really speaks to me through the devotions a lot, its simply amazing!!  It says that God has a plan to free from everything that holds us back.  That really encourages me and lets me know that having the WLS was right on with God because before surgery there was so much in my life holding me back from doing things and it all resulted in being over weight and not being able to do anything but sit there and hope I get to feeling better, now that I am over 2 years out I can do things I never dreamed I could do while being so over weight.  It’s really like being freed from the bondage I was in.  I never doubted one second that I wasn’t suppose to get this surgery and now I know even stronger it was what God had in His plan of deliverance for me.  Where it says in the devotion God is saying, “I’m going to free you from the bondage of poverty and lack. I’m going to free you from the burden of depression and discouragement. I’m going to free you from every addiction, every bad habit."  That just makes me shout for joy, God knows I still have bad habits to get rid of and get discouraged at times but with His help ALL things are possible, w00t w00t!!

***Bec*** I know what ya mean about how much good word can we absorb, sometimes I feel like I am gonna explode with all the good word we have been reading, it just keeps on coming and coming, just think though, we still have over half the bible to read yet, just think of all the awesome word still yet to come, wow!!!  I sure pray that you, Paul and your daughter are having the time of your lives this week.

Psalm 68:19-35
Proverbs 11:29-31

Daily Devotional

Exodus 6:6, AMP
…I will free you from their bondage and I will rescue you with an outstretched arm…"

No matter what’s going on in your life, no matter how somebody is treating you, God has a plan to free you from everything that would try to hold you back. He wants to rescue you and show you His mighty hand of favor and blessing. One translation says “with special and vigorous action." What does that mean? That means, if you will stay in faith even in the difficult times, God is going to show up with explosive blessings. He is going to bring supernatural turnaround, supernatural breakthroughs, supernatural promotion, and supernatural deliverance.

God is saying, “I’m going to free you from the bondage of poverty and lack. I’m going to free you from the burden of depression and discouragement. I’m going to free you from every addiction, every bad habit."

You don’t have to live in bondage to anything any longer! God’s arm of deliverance is outstretched toward you. He is setting you free from every bondage so that you can live the life of victory He has in store for you!

Today's thought: Thank You for delivering me from every fear, every concern, every obstacle, every form of bondage. I declare today that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because You are my deliverer.

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
