This morning the word and devotion once again go hand in hand so to speak.  We all get discouraged from time to time, we all get down and depressed because of a situation we are in, whether it be financial, physical, mental or spiritual, God is such a huge God that He is able and willing to take care of it all for us, if we will only let him.  If we will only let God keep us in the palm of His hand he will take care of whatever situation we face, no matter what it is.  It’s pretty much a chose we make.  We can choose to live the victorious life or we can choose to try and take care of things on our own but I’m here to tell you, it wont work unless we choose to let God take care of it all.  That’s one thing about God, He freely gives us the choice.  It’s so easy to try to take care of things ourselves but I choose to let God hold me in the palm of His hand and live victoriously, what do you choose to do?

Today’s Reading

Deuteronomy 4:1-49
Luke 6:39-7:10
Psalm 68:1-18
Proverbs 11:28

Daily Devotional

Isaiah 41:10, AMP
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you…I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand…"

Is there something in your life that feels beyond your control? If you’re tempted to get discouraged, remember, as a believer, God is holding you in the palm of His hand. There is nothing too difficult, nothing too impossible, nothing beyond His ability. When God holds you in His hand, you are safe. You are cared for. In His hand, there is victory. In His hand, there is strength. In His hand, there is provision. In His hand is everything you need.

No matter what you may be going through today, you can trust that God is for you. Instead of getting down and depressed over your cir****tances, look up and get a vision of God turning that situation around. Get a vision of His favor, promotion, and increase in your life. As you stand in faith, you’ll see those supernatural breaks that will launch you further ahead than you ever thought possible! Remember, He holds you in His victorious right hand!

Today's thought: Thank You for helping me and holding me in Your victorious right hand. I choose to trust You even when things don’t make sense, even when things seem beyond my control. I release my cares to You knowing that You work all things together for my good.

Good Morning Andy...

You have a beautiful face yet again this morning! You look so much like your dear wife! You know they say after you live together for so long you begin to look like each other and I believe from the looks of you this morning? IT'S TRUE! ~tee hee

Just had to razz you a bit...

I wonder sometimes at just how much Good Word we can comprehend... I know I lose it so easily and I have to pray diligently that the Lord will help me retain what all I read.  I also know that the saying, "garbage in garbage out" seems to be true in my life... as I am constantly filling my mind with this Good Word I am seeing a big difference in how much of the time I seem to be down... I still get down but I can sure see an improvement as I am trying to apply these healthy Godly Life Principles to my own situation.  There is that ever present "if I" that has to be considered.  I want the "I did" in my life when it comes to the things that are right and good for me!

So much I could say about the past two days readings but I have have to get on the road...

Part of today's Proverbs says: "the righteous will thrive like a green leaf" last evening when we were walking we came upon a stretch of wonderfully green thick grass...the kind that makes you want to sink down in it and take a nap... there was dull old brown all around it and it made the patch of grass stand out so beautifully!  I can imagine this represents that verse so nicely and when you think that on thru it gives me great hope!

Have a good day... Andy you are doing a wonderful job with this post and I continue to appreciate it!
