Thinking of relocating...Warrensburg or Sedalia
My husband and I are toying with the idea of moving. We are both taking classes at State Fair Community College. I'll be graduating in May with my AAS in Accounting. He'll graduate next spring with a computer programming degree. My advisor at school told me that we'd probably have more opportunities in either Sedalia or Warrensburg. So, we've been discussing it.
So, for those of you who live in or near either place, what do you think of the schools? How is the price of child care? Is crime bad?
What other things about either place do you feel like sharing?
Thanks so much. I feel like this is such a big decision and I need some input!

hey Brandy....Im in Warrensburg!!!
Were pretty quite here....more than likely no more crime then you have there in Clinton.
Schools here are good....at least I havent had any problems with them through 2 children.
Couldnt tell you about the child care question...my children didnt have to go to daycare when we moved to the area...both were in school already....
Hope this helps...

Live in Sedalia, been here many many yrs. Daycare runs about $75-$100 a week per child we have some great places and of course the home care. Go to the website for chamber of commerce and have them both send you a new comers guide, it will give you demo graphics of both areas and also everything else you will need to know before you move. Those packets are free and are loaded with info about the industries and local attractions. Both cities probably have websites too. I know Sedalia does and it also may have the place to ask for that packet too. I used to work there and filled those, I did it off the phone and answering machine, but I am sure that there is other ways to get them now. That was yrs ago. I hope this was helpful and that you get all you need to make a great life change without to much of a hassle.
