Another Update on Susan

Well they finally moved her to 4west which is where she should of been in the first place, they can now start controling her blood sugar bettter with an insulin drip.  The doctor came in a few mins ago and said that she would most likely not need it after tomorrow and that she wont be needing any more insulin when she does get out of here.  She's doing better and resting right now,  Dr. Ferring has ordered some cardiac tests just to be sure nothing else is going on because of her heart rate going up sohight last night.  Today its steady at about 100, still a bit high but lots better then it was.  The cardiologist came in and looked at her and said that her body prolly just reacted a more the normal because of surgery but they are gonna run a few tests anyhow just to be safe.  So things ARE looking better, slowly but surely.  She prolly wont get out of here until friday afternoon at the earliest maybe saturday just depends on how the tests go and such, Dr. Ferring is just trying to be cautious and cover all bases which is great, dont wanna get her home and something go on.

Thanks again for everyones prayers and support, we wouldnt be able to get through this without them.  Will keep ya updated at we know more.

Bless ya's

Andy

Andy,

That is wonderful I hope things keep getting better for her and all the tests work out. Thanks so much for the balloon and lovely card. I am keeping you both in my prayers. My husband said she had stopped by and left it in the room. That was so nice of you, especially since she had to be heading to her own surgery.

Best wishes!
