WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

 

Bec you could have knocked me over last night when you called...i was so happy to hear from you....i know I don’t call all of you like I should ...i think I will and then I get so busy that I just forget I guess I have Alzheimer’s lol. And then on top of that I really cant believe what I did yesterday....i forgot my vits. Yesterday....no joke first time in about 4 years I didn’t take a one  I took the potassium that Susan brought over to me and took my morning antibiotic and went in to take my night time one and hadn’t taken anything out of the Saturdays slots . good grief.  Then I went to rinse out and fill my water bottles and had only drank 48 oz of water . don’t know what happened to my brain yesterday....do you just all of a sudden go nuts lol

 

OH  for anyone interested I figured out how to put my link to my webshots in my signature like at the bottom of the page now....so if you want to see my albums  copy and paste the link....i will start a new flower album for this year soon....but you can see some of the flower pictures I took in years past. .

 

Well we decided to go for it this morning. And gutted the guest house bathroom....well all except the bathtub..too hard to get it out or rather too hard to get a new one in...could tear the old one into pieces but well as I said .....but everything else is gone , then had to put down all new subfloor  we have had the new toilet for in there for quite some time. but just haven’t gotten it done...today we decided to get it out and also to get the old sink cabinet and sink out they were horrible looking.l we went to Home Depot and found a cute little sink and cabinet plus the whole faucet was in it too...and a really pretty mirror. Wow. For only 125 very good price. I think im going to have to go fishing in the morning tho and then we will get it all put in Tuesday....oh also bought new tub surround. ....we are going to build this little wall in front of the tub and a four inch top on the top of the tub will seal that tight and then put some cute little four inch tiles on the top of it....and bead board on the outside...it will look cute ...

Anyone need a huge big mirror that was on one whole wall of the bathroom above the sink...just a plain flat big mirror.....

 

Bought some Simple Green cleaner to use on Big Red...wow it is working like crazy...and I found a part that was missing it was down in the deep well. The cover for the pilot light which was sort of expensive to replace , Thank you God...another blessing.

 

 

BARB ::::::::: Sounds like you really had a good time yelling at the roller derby.....cant believe the oldest one on the team was over 50 must really be in good shape.

 

 

 

SUSAN:::::::: ok wow today is the day you travel up to be ready for surgery.....didnt you say you are going to Becs for the night? Great tell Andy he better call me as soon as you are out of surgery and he knows you are alright. ....wow are you excited???? Silly question I know you are. Wow im excited for you ,,,,cause I know how great you are going to be and how good you are going to feel in about 2 months. Just don’t get discouraged you will be fine....all of us are. Except for the ones that don’t follow the rules but I know you will. Heck you don’t have any choice lol  love you and want you to be this tiny little girl by the end of summer....yipppeee

 

 

SUSIE::::::; I was a slow loser too I thin****ep thinking I will get into the size 8s I have in the closet. Lol well I can get into them but they are indecent...i think I could wear them if I had a tummy tuck , just haven’t done it yet. Maybe your hair loss will be like mine....i did lose some but my hair is so thick that most people couldn’t tell it. and usually by the time that you notice that you are losing a lot of hair it is already starting to come back in....and mine came in with a vengeance...thicker and curlier than ever. It is so curley now that it borders on frizzy if I don’t use a get to keep the frizz down.....

You will be fine. I have complete confidence in you....

 

 

LOU::::::well sounds like you had a good lazy day lol ....be careful of the wine...it will and can sabatoge your weight loss and can cause weight gain. Plus the fact it isn’t too good for you....

Thanks for the concerned about  my cramps and im thinking I have it undercontrol ...except for the fact that today when we were at Home Depot all of a sudden I got extremely hot and then I started shaking and felt so weak....i think it was my blood sugar dropping. Don’t know why  cause right before we left home I ate a protein bar to keep my self up ....weird some of my reactions here lately...i think I need to have blood work done again. hmmmmmmm

 

 

 

MARY:::::we will all be praying for you this morning during your surgery. I hope your hubby will call ....If he doesn’t call me by 1pm I will call him....thing will be fine you have a great surgeon.....

 

 

 

Good morning to all.travel day is here.yheeee.i am so excited.lol.we are going to spend the night at bec house and then leave there early in the morning for the hospital.

jan andy does that once in a while too.forget's to take his pill's.sound's like you and joe have a big job ahead of you all fixing up the guest house.thank's for taking care of our kid's while we are gone.will be only one more day than last time.

i will check on the chicken's in the morning and give them some fresh water and make sure they have food.

thank's for the rose bush you bought over yesterday.

i sure will be glad when my surgery is over and get rid of my insulin.even with the doctor cutting down my pill's and shot's my sugar still has been dropping.sat night it was down to 55 and last night down to 53.my arm turn's black and blue from the needle.look's like andy hit me.lol.

andy really has been a big help to me.he has stayed on the liquid diet with me this whole time.he said he would stay on it a little longer with me.he is losing more weight along with me.the liquid diet has not been that bad.time did go fast.just have to follow what the doctor's tell you to do.

angie where are you girl we have not heard from you in a while.tomorrow we get to find out who our secret pal is.i have had a lotof fun doing it.would like to do it again.

bec you and paul are such a blessing letting andy and i stay over night with you.sure save's us from getting up before the chicken's and getting on the road soo early.lol.

janet and renee are you both still spoiling that baby?miss seeing you on here.

you are probably already gone but my prayers are with you, and Sheba (my fur baby) is still hanging in there, she had to have a blood transfusion sat and goes back today,, she has really been thru it , still doesnt walk much.....vesta

Yes, Jan I did have a great time. Was kinda hoarse yesterday for a while but, didn't mind. It was fun but, not something I want to do on a regular basis.

Susan and Andy, safe driving today as you begin your journey!

Anyone else having surgery this week. You will all be in my prayers.

Jan can't wait to see your stove, it will look great in your kitchen.

Have to go do taxes today......YUCK!   Hubby starts their four tens today. He loves having Friday, Saturday and Sunday off but, the 10 hour days are a little hard on him for the first week.

Youngest Grand Daughter is coming today...we have to build a trap for a leprechaun...LOL   Her class is setting them out tomorrow to see if they can catch one of the little guys. She was so excited when we were trying to think up the project. I will try posting a picture when it's finished. She is 8 and insisted I help her build it.

I haven't gotten a call this morning but I am working tomorrow. This months check won't be much. I have had to many days off. The job doesn't pay much to begin with. I guess I will have to slow down on the shopping. I somehow doubt I will. I don't think I have done to bad. I have only spent about 150 and have practically bought a whole new wardrobe. I had to do it. Too many people were letting me know my clothes were to big. Yesterday I wore size 12 pants to church and several people said you finally went shopping huh. I have two pair of 10's and two pair of 8's that are waiting in the closet. I will start adding to those sizes. I am hopeful I will make it to those sizes. It will give a jump start. Since I work I have to have more clothes than if I didn't and I can't wear the same thing everyday,the kids would tease me to much.
I am finding some neat clothes in the resale shops. I am conservative and the retail stores have some wild looking stuff out there. I guess my taste adjusted to the plain drab plus size fashions. I am not a spring chicken and some of the clothes are just to young looking.Maybe I am to old fashioned.

Good Morning Mimi...

Just have a few minutes ...have some things I want to get done before Andy and Susan get here...

Paul is out already working on the chicken coop... he is trying to make it so it is easy to gather the eggs and clean out... the best part is he is doing it with just stuff we already have here.  The
babies are having a territorial struggle already it looks like... one is wanting to be the "boss" ~ha and pecking on another one... oh dear!  But they are coming along right nice... getting feathers already on their wings.  Tito is doing his part to watch over them....

I can't wait to get my tater and peas in the ground... as soon as it dries out here... I am hoping maybe toward the end of the week.

The birds were singing beautifully this morning when I walked and the sun was shining so very beautifully too.  I put out some of my statuary and planters over the weekend and it looks more like "home" now and not so bare.

Mimi I know what you mean about intending to talk to more folks but the days go by so fast.

Am thinking of Angie this morning those pics she posted looks like she is just miserable!  Am praying for Debbie D's hubby to find a job as well, that Peggy feels better this morning, that Pooh will find out what is wrong with her with having these tests and dr. visits tomorrow, that Renee is adjusting to her daughter being gone and feeling better about that, that NeNe's dog will go ahead and get all better quickly so it doesn't have to suffer any longer, I don't know where Janet is in her dr. visits but praying she can get the place she wants to be as well.  Praying strength for Jeanine as she has been taking care of family members, it sure was good to see Sheila post on one of the threads!
