WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Thanks guys , for all the answers to why im having cramps....after the online post and the several emails the consensus  is lack of potassium....Susan came over with me some to try and you know what???? After taking only one pill I really feel better all way around....i will keep them oh hand for sure...i was cramping  even in my behind last night it didn’t feel good at all....anyway I am already feeling better ...i know it sounds like a lot of water I drink but you have to remember that I work outside most of the time and I have sinus problems all the time. so im a mouth breather. Which makes my mouth really dry all the time. so I drink a lot of water because of that but I will take a potassium when I drink bigtime like that ok...

We are expecting company the week end of the 19th again so we are getting the guest house ready by turning on the water and elect...uhoh  ----TURN THE WATER OFF....LEAKS ,LEAKS ... lol so Joe had to go check his supply of pipes and connectors etc etc.. well to town we go....when we have to buy plumbing things we usually buy a couple of handfuls that way we don’t have to worry about what we have and don’t have...Joe didn’t have but one connector left  but now we have about 20 lol ....i told him long ago unless we are down to nothing in money don’t buy just one...we have to go so far into town to buy things that we always buy way more than we need of things unless it is something that is a one time thing....anyway he has a plastic tub full of plumbing connectors, ts , elbows, 45s and all those things. And we keep a couple of 8 ft lengths of pipe on hand too. that is sort of how I buy groceries too. anytime we go to town for anything....i go to the store and buy most of the stuff they have on sale...nothing else just sale items....even got lunch today. Lol they had samples of reuben sandwiches. Really about a ¼ of a sandwich,,,,just right for me , Joe said it was just enough to make him mad lol .

While we were in town I got a big can of WD40 oh my you should see how good it is working on my big red stove....takes off grease, and rust and all sorts of bad stuff. Cant use steel wool or anysort of scratchy pads on this because of the porcelain it would scratch it. all the knobs are on this and everything else that I can see. The only thing that it needs is the pilot light cover and the pot that goes down into the deep well ....amazing. will have to get the burners and lines out and run wires thru them and soak them to make sure there are no dirt daubers in them ........i took some pictures and will put one on my profile as soon as I can get it moved there. .

I was planning on working in the yard today but it had to rain...i have got a lot of leaves to rake up off all the Hostas.....Glenna I don’t think I lost a one of those you gave me last year. Nor any of the other flowers ...the peonies are all coming up . the crepe myrtle is beginning to get a tiny bit of green on it....the zebra grass is doing good and all the iris that I got from you are doing well. So is everything....i gave Vesta a lot of stuff and she said hers all made it last year too didn’t even droop....

SUSIE:::::::lol I don’t care how much you spend Susie, like I said maybe you will give them to me when you get smaller lol

Doesn’t that make you mad when someone that is working treat you like you are stupid or they are just rude..

Im sure you will keep losing weight...just keep doing your exercises....get the WII out  and go for it.

Well I wear the sleeveless tops outside working in the yard and garden ...get myself a good tan.  Im not brave enough to wear them anywhere else. Lol ....but I really don’t think they look quite as bad this year as they did last year.. and a good tan does help the look...

LOU:::::: thanks for the info about potassium ...i love bananas and have been eating at least one a day but have been out for the past few days .....well yuck salt on your nana?

SUSAN:::::yea good deal about getting moved up some and congradulations on the losing 9 pounds  already...i just know you are going to do great at this....i bet you lose 100 pounds by the time you are 6 months out too. just hang on it is a wild and crazy trip...

Boy you all have sure been busy today....i think you all finally got all the things unpacked didn’t you? Busy beavers...one more day and a wake up.....wow.

SANDY::::: oh Sandy the stove is really cool....and I think it will really look great in my kitchen...my cabinets are antique cream looking color  and have wood floors.  And then I have lots of chichens and roosters in there and most of them are either red or lots of red on them...so I really think the red stove will look really neat in there. ....when I need new small applicances I will get red ones. Like a coffee pot and toaster...etc.

Lol I like Kohl too. even have a credit card and have to watch myself in there.....cant help you out with the bras. I think I  would swim in them...i wear a 36 barely B lol

Barb  S.  ...... well did you have sun? we didn’t we were overcast and rain off and on all day... I tried to walk some today but the weather  made my knees worse than ever. ..

Yeah Barb I wish I had some of you girls here to help me scrub ...i have gotten a spot about the size of a piece of notebook paper  cleaned lol it is going to be so pretty..it is called Coke a cola Red....lol

That is neat about your neice... I use to love to watch roller derby lol one of my dreams at one time when I was young I wanted to be  on roller derby...i thought that would be so much fun...lol ..roller skating and elbowing people and knocking them down what could be better than that , well that was when I was young and healthy and strong  ...

Hey Jan;

Just got home from the roller derby game and I can barely speak. I yelled so much...LOL Our niece is a Jammer which is the position that can score. She really scored alot but, they lost. Their first loss of the season. Guess we brought bad luck. She was really happy we came. Don't think I could do that. The oldest on her team is 53....I couldn't walk or even get out of bed the next morning let alone to get home after the game. LOL

Yes, we had sun all day. It was really nice out. Still cool without sleeves but nice the same.

I can't get used to daylight savings time. I do not like waking up in the dark. I am still missing the hour I lost. I am so slow in the mornings.
I do hope I continue to lose weight Jan. I don't know how much more but I expect to come close to my goal by the eighteen month mark. I have been a slow loser so I think it will continue to go slow. Everytime I shop I buy something too small to save for the future. I am starting to have quite a few smalls in my closet but I can't get in them yet.Not by a long shot. I even have a few size 8 pants. I cannot imagine wearing them but time will tell. I haven't spent that much, no more than I normally would but buying thrift stores I get more for the money.
The more I lose the more I realize I will need plastic surgery. I have so much extra skin and I am turning into one big wrinkle. I am even noticing a few stray hairs falling. I have tried so hard to keep my hair. I did everything I read to that was supposed to help keep it. Maybe I will only lose a few.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

Susie

Good morning!  This weekend has flown by!  Yesterday I was so lazy it was great.  My daughter and I watched two movies, I did some laundry and we napped.  It was rainy and gloomy, besides I haven't had a day like that in forever.  Today I have a very busy long day.  I have to do taxes all day, then I have a listing appointment. YAY!  They are so excited to sell thier house and get something  bigger.  Its fun when people are so excited.  This comming week, Frankie, myself and my best friend and her husband are headed to Hot Springs Arkansas to the horse races.  Thurs-Sunday.  I'm so ready to get away for a few days. Have a massage and some wine.  We had so much fun last year and I'm sure this one will be no different.  JAN: I'm glad you got your cramps undercontrol.  When my son played football he would have cramps and they would tell him to salt his food.  It helped alot and low potassium is a big cramp maker too, I'm sure you'll be cramp free in no time.  SUSAN: girl! you have to be so excited, make sure someone lets us know how you're doing.  You're almost there. We will be cheering you on! I would also like to send my condolences out to DR DE LA TORRE, who's mom passed away.  How SAD is that?  I don't think it matters how old you are your mom is still your mom and I'm sure he's CRUSHED! She had to be an amazing woman to raise such a smart and thoughtful son. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope everyone has a great day! ;) Lou
