WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

The red stove made it to the back porch....with the help of Andy and two other big guys from the neighborhood...and Joe...now to start getting it clean and finding out what I really need ...I know there is a automatic pilot light thing that is suppose to be in the center of the stove that I have to get....im just so excited about getting it fixed and cleaned and refurbished and into the kitchen...Oh yes it will be my only cook stove when I get it done and in the house. We will have to reconstruct the cabinets some but we put them in we can re arrange them lol . the ref. is going to have to go onto the other wall will put the small deep freeze where the ref. is. Lol can you tell im excited...

 

I am having leg, and feet cramps, and not because im not drinking enough water, yesterday I drank 92 oz of jus****er , so I kinow it isn’t that.....does Macro  for kidney infection cause that?  Nurses??? Do you all know ? I looked it up and it says it can cause pain in joints as a side effect but doesn’t say anything about cramps....I am taking plenty of calcium 1500 a day and magnesium that is in the calcium and vit D.// cant think of anything else that can cause it....it sure is getting to me tho....last night I had to go to bed to be able to stretch out witout putting any strain on my legs so they would quit cramping and then they woke me up several times in the night and would have to get up and walk around...i found the bio=freeze rubbed on them helps to get them out. Tho in spots that walking doesn’t seem to help like in the front of your legs...those are really painful...

 

Anyway that is why this is being posted this morning instead of last nigh...and I keep having to get up and walk so don’t know how long it will take to get this done. Will be short .....

 

 

SUSAN::::::: yippee I wont tell I will let you tell your good news this morning lol but I know you are excited about it for sure....2 more days and a wake up ...oh boy it is here it is here.....im going to miss you while you are gone....as soon as you feel like it call me and let me know how you are feeling...and have Andy to call me as soon as he knows you are out of surgery and are ok so I can report. To every one.....

So sweet of our Bec to be up there and to sit with Andy while you will be in surgery. That is like her isn’t it?

 

 

BEC:::::: don’t worry about the gas stove , yes it will be my cooking stove but only after it is completely checked out and cleaned and that it is safe will it go into the house....believe me I don’t want to burn my house down with it....I have had two house fires before and lost everything and sure don’t want that to happen again....but it does make you know what is important in life and it isn’t houses or contents or things.

 

Your doggie sounds like mine ....He is really curious too but if I tell him to take care of or that something is a baby he wouldn’t hurt it for the world and would really defend it if needed....

 

 

Mary::::; if my friend that I am expecting doesn’t show I will try to get over to Branson I really would like to meet you but hopefully you will get to come down to our support meeting this month on the 23^rd.....it would do you good to get out and we would all love to meet you.

Hope your meeting goes well today....you sound like a very important person...

And someone that does have a job that is fulfilling and meaningful...

Yeah I would hate to buy anything new a few days before surgery but like you said maybe it can be taken up some to fit a while longer at least thru this cooler season.

Just wear it a lot lol

Wow only one more day and a wake up  till surgery ...has the time went by fast? I think it does if you keep yourself really busy and sounds like you do....good luck and hope that your hubby will call me and let me know how the surgery went and I can tell everyone then....

 

 

SUSIE:::::: well of course you can tell them no....and I think that is one of the first things we do learn when we start changing for the better ...as we lose weight we gain confidence and learn to love ourselves better because with the tool we know eventually that we arnt going to fail at this.... wow girl size 10    great and your saying your still fat? No way...

You are looking at the loose skin , and you have to remember that none of us can see that.

Don’t buy too many clothes you will probably still lose a lot more...i know it is fun but ...you don’t want to have to get rid of a lot of size 10s oh wait yeah go ahead and you can give them to me when you down past them lol ....

 

 

LOU::::::that wasn’t even a stall lol ...so you ate more food? I try to eat more but I really have a hard time getting in more than a 1000 cals a day and know that if I could and could exercise more I could lose more but it is so hard to ....you keep going girl you will make the 100 pounds by 6 months I have all the confidence in the world in you...

 

 

 

I got a message from Jeanine yesterday.;;finally . bless her heart she has been in Ga. Taking care of her mom....her mother has been sick and had surgery..she said she had lost about 90 pounds ....she hopes to be home and get to come to the support meeting. But she said to tell everyone hi for her.

I had another fun day yeaterday, I wore Marilin and Angie out though. I got some really good buys.Angie took me to a place with used clothes and I had a ball. I only spent 35 dollars so don't worry Jan. I didn't go overboard.
I had a bad experience at Marshal's in Osage Beach. I had several items to try on and the clerk at the dressing room was so rude I told her to keep the clothes and I would spend my money somewhere else. Thats just what I did,left my cart and walked out of the store.With the economy being so bad you would think customer service would be important. I think there is a Marshals in Springfield I hope its better.
 
I do hope I continue to lose weight for a while. I have fifty more pounds to lose. I think I will be able to wear the things I bought for a while. I always buy something to small to have later. I resisited a few things that were really cheap because I didn't know if they would fit in the fall. I am also resisting sleevless things. Marilin and Angie think I should go for it. I worry about my batwings.

Are you wearing sleevless tops this summer? I am curious how everyone else is handling this.

Hey Jan, if you are drinking that much water you might be low on potasium or sodium, which will cause cramps. Can you eat some bananas maybe salt your food alittle? Or salt your banana? LOL  low on either can cause cramps.  Hope this helps ;)

Good morning to all.yes i do have great new's to tell.i got a call from the doctor's in columbia yesterday and they had a surgery cancelled for tuesday morning so i have to be at the hospital at 830am instead of noon.yheeeee.

also when andy and i went into town yesterday i weighed my self on a scale at my dad's nursing home.same number's as the doctor's office and as of yesterday i lost 9 and half pound's so far.i never have lost that much soo quickley.i have been on the liquid diet now 12 day's today.i am really getting excited.surgery day did come quick for me.

jan andy and i want too thank you and joe for all you are doing for us.i just saw joe and he told me about your friend melba.hope i spelled her name right.we sure will be praying for her.

becky we want to thank you again for coming to the hospital and sitting with andy while i am in surgery.you and paul have been such a blessing to us.

pooh bear how are you doing today?thank you also for sitting with bec and andy while i am in surgery.andy does not mind the company.

lou you look great.you will have that 100 pound's off by the time 6 month's is here.

susie when i buy clothe's some size's fit me better than other's.i know i will have clothe's for some people here soon.

mary we are praying for you.monday is almost here.we love to meet you sometime.andy is going to call people for me when i come out of surgery and when i feel up to it i will call some people too.hope to see you at the meeting on the 23 in springfield.i have my one week checkup that day and we want to stop in there on our way home.

Jan - The stove sounds wonderful!  I wish we had a gas cookstove with an electric oven (its on my wish list).  I finally ordered a stand mixer on sale so I am saving about $60.  Also ordered some animal and transportation pancake molds for the grandkids as son makes pancakes for them Sunday mornings - its a ritual and he needs help with the shapes - LOL.

I lifted the plastic wrap up and misted my seed tray and covered it back up.  Waiting anxiously to see them start sprouting...

My aunt went with me to Columbia yesterday and as we were early we stopped at the Goodwill store off of Grindstone pkwy and I found a new turntable for my microwave for $1 and a pair of black dress slacks for $3.  Did not trust myself to go into Kohl's as I love that store and would have spent toooooo much money.  Back to Dr's office and saw Kevin and Natalie and pics of the new baby.  I weigh 162 ponds now so I have got to watch the bad carbs now.   Stopped at the Golden Correl in Moberly for supper and ate to much so I wasn't feeling very well on the way home.  The drive from macon to kirksville is long - the last 32 miles seems like forever when you want to get home...

I have gotten rid of all my plus size clothes except for a suit that was my mom's and a couple of blouses I want to cut down.  Found another sack of bras in the bottum of my dresser.  Most are 38 C & D.  They are up for grabs - any takers?  Just email me if you want them then we can find a way to get them to you.

Hope everyone can get out and enjoy the sun today.....Baby and I will be walking on the high school track today.

Jan, isn't it funny how most of us don't like to clean but, when we get something like your stove that we have been wanting, we can clean all day and enjoy it? LOL

Susan.....It's almost here! I am so excited for you.

Bec....You sweetheart!  It really is nice of you to go to support Andy.

Glad to hear some are getting better. I'm feeling good enough to go out with family tonight to dinner and to watch our niece play in the roller derby at the Municipal Auditorium. She is the Co-Captain of the team. It is so funny...here she is this big roller derby queen and by profession she is a bio-chemist.  LOL   She will be going to England to work in a new lab in June.

Well, need to get started.
