Daily Bible Reading - Friday March 13th

Can you imagine being there with Moses and Aaron when Moses performed the miracle of water coming out of a solid rock?  That must have been a sight to witness, you know that the people had to of been in awe but how many still didn’t believe it was a miracle of God.  Moses and Aaron though didn’t not trust God enough to honor Him at the miracle so He punished them.  I’m sure glad that we are redeemed by the blood of the lamb that we don’t have to go through all that the people in those days had to go through and if not doing it right they were punished.  You know some of those punishments were pretty harsh and severe.  Look in our New Testament reading today when Zachariah did not believe what the Angel Gabriel had said and questioned him, he was punished and could not spea****il his son was born, wow, and that must have been difficult.  To have to endure punishment like that must have been hard, Praise God for our own sacrifice that was punished the worst punishment ever just for us, just so we could live our lives to the fullest.

Once again Proverbs is to the point.  I really like Proverbs for that, it gets right to the point with no questions.  “The righteous man is rescued from trouble and it comes on the wicked instead" again that speaks for itself.

The devotional once again hits me right where it needs to.  I really want God to make up the difference in my life.  Can you imagine God turning the footsteps of 4 into sounding like a huge huge army?  To see all those armies running for their lives must have been such a site. God can and will do that in our lives today if we will only let Him.  He can turn our setbacks into victories and our weaknesses into strengths if we will only trust Him, wow!

***Bec*** Good word this morning, hope you are as blessed by it as I am once again.  Right now God is speaking to me as much through the devotions as He is through His word, isn’t it just amazing how the exact word we need for that moment is always there?  Some people would that’s just a coincidence but we sure know better don’t we?  Hope you had a blessed day meeting up with Susie, Marilyn and Vesta and I know you were.

Daily Devotional

II Corinthians 12:10, AMP
“…for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength)"

No matter what weakness you think you may have, no matter what inadequacies or setbacks you’ve encountered, God wants to give you His divine strength. He wants to make up the difference and put you further ahead than you ever thought possible. One time in the Old Testament, God simply multiplied the sound of four men’s footsteps and caused them to sound like a mighty army. When their enemies heard them, they took off running. There were thousands of enemy troops running for their lives, scared to death, thinking they were being attacked by a massive army when in fact it was just four people! What happened? God made up the difference.

Friend, God can make you seem bigger than you really are. He can make you look more powerful. He knows how to multiply your influence, multiply your strength, your talent and your income. You don’t have to figure it all out; all you have to do is put your trust in Him. If you will release your faith for a supernatural year and wake up every day expecting God’s far and beyond favor, then you’re going to see God show up and make the difference in every area of your life!

Today's thought: Today I commit every area of my life to God. I trust that God will make up the difference and supply everything I need to fulfill His purposes in my life.

Good Morning Andy...

Yep twas good word!

I have this perfect vision in my mind of what it must of looked like when the footsteps of the four ran off multitudes...

My little Tito will chase 3,4 or 5 great big dogs across the field at full speed when they come on "his" property... he has done it many many times... there those great big beast are running like mad dogs and my little 4 lb Tito right on there heals!  Looks ridiculous and very funny... all just ONE of those big dogs would have to do is even just turn and Tito would come running with his tale between his legs! But he thinks he is "mighty to the breaking down of strongholds!!! ~tee hee

Isn't it just awesome how God provided for His people over and over and over again!

No matter what weakness you think you may have, no matter what inadequacies or setbacks you’ve encountered, God wants to give you His divine strength.

I'm just going to claim this for myself this morning! Isn't it simply wonderful that those precious words "when we are weak He is strong" is true and for us today!

As Proverbs has been talking about for some time... I wonder how many times the word "righteous" is in Proverbs?  Really most all of Proverbs seems about "right living" If I could just get part of it's concepts deep in my spirit I would be a much better woman of God than I am today!  That's why I'm so thankful for all that the Lord has been speaking to my heart thru the reading this year...

Blessings and more blessing to you today!

Bec
