WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Wednesday morning.....well here I am up before the chickens. ....well really not that is what woke me up at 5 was the darn roosters we have out there. Our neighbors have 3 of the stupid things and we have the one and all they do all day long is crow back and forth at each other. Gosh you would think that they would get hoarse and shut up after awhile.

I am really really tired of hearing them all the time. our rooster is from their pen. They had their big rooster and had 3 young roosters culled and put in a separate pen , going to take them to trade days or eat them or something so Joe wanted one of them....so now they holler at each other all day long , and I mean all day long. Starting about 4 am and going till 7 at night...

 

Jus****ched Andy and Susan go by the house on the way to Forsyth...i guess to Andys appointment...makes me think I need to go have my blood work drawn and faxed to Dr. H. I have needed to do this for a while now and haven’t done it....i was low on vit D the last time I had them run or for what Dr. H wants us to be at on D so he had me to take some prescription D and since I took that I have been taking a D supplement almost as much as he gave me. Daily...so hope it is ok now....dont know if being tired most of the time is low D or Iron or the time of year or the inflammation from the arthritis....but something is zapping me a lot. And I have way too much to do to let it keep going. So I need to call them today and get that blood test set up...

 

It has just kept getting colder and colder .....and what in the world ?????SNOW????? down below 62 in Ark.. they are saying 3 to 5 inches....and south of I-44  1to 3...i know it really isn’t spring yet but sure would have been nice to have been surprised lol ...if it doesn’t get warm and dry soom don’t know if I can stand it much....Joe came in while ago and ask if I was ready to go to Tucson....i said if I thought we could sell our house and place I would be packed and ready to go. Lol......

 

Talked to Janet for awhile today and she said that any of us that couldn’t come to the baby shower this Saturday that she is planning on coming to the meeting on the 23^rd and bringing Megan and baby girl....so we can all see her....so after the meeting I will give her my gift that I was going to give her at the shower....so we can have our own little baby shower  ....

 

Talked to Sugar today too...kept expecting her to come on line but she didn’t so I thought I better call her since she hadn’t me...lol she is ok just busy busy busy......

 

Has any one  been able to get in touch with Jeanine? I cant figure that out she is just  like she no longer exists.....i have left several messagages on the phone. I have emailed and emailed none of it seems to get any where. So don’t know how she is or how she is doing. I hope she is well . I just tried to call her house again and all is there is a message machine...i left yet another message.... she was someones secret sister....i wonder if there was anyone that joined secret pal that has never gotten anything from anyone? ....what about the person that has her name? do you have her home address? If you don’t want to let everyone know on her can you please email me her home address on the private message? I would like to mail her a card to see if I can get any thing from her that way....

 

 

SUSAN::::::: 5 days and a wake up lol    yippee....girl you are going to do so good.....cant wait to see you in about 5 or 6 months....Andy you ready for this sexy young wife you are going to have.....cant wait to go shopping with you....help you find some young looking clothes.  It will be fun.....well at least Rebel didn’t get near the skunk last night so that was good.

Take care of your self with that sugars going up and down.  I know they want it down but they don’t want it down so low that you feel bad. .... just keep the protein levels high.....oh for the week or what ever after surgery and it is clear liquids....what or how are you going to get in your protein? I guess mixed with flavored water??? ....

 

 

BARB:::::: looks like if your food travels really fast that you would have a lot of trouble gaining weight at all.     Isnt it great to know that the tool does work....i just cant seem to know how to use mine to lose the rest of my weight.....according to dr. H  and what he said my goal should be I would have to lose another 25 pounds and I just cant see that ever happening. Don’t know that I want to lose that much more but would like to lose at least 10 more.

Oh well the pain is what it is....yeah im sure that the replaced knee isn’t right, maybe it has a screw loose lol  no they aren’t suppose to hurt...

Make plans to come to Miss Peggys garage sale ....maybe a lot of us can make a day of it and have fun.....

He tries to to tempt us doesn’t he?   And the ways don’t really change too much , he know what has worked for him before and thanks it will continue to work....

 

When I talked to  Sugar this afternoon I told her to put it on her calendar and that she was mine...and no one else can have her then so if nothing happens we will be at your house  on the 29^th of april...now Peggy you cant change the dates on us lol....so keep thinking with your fingers lol

PEGGY :::::: OH wow thank God for his diligence in watching over you and the testing and that they turned out ok....that sounds pretty likely that the Thyroid meds could be possible..

Did you read my response to Bec? Sugar , Bec and I will be at your sale on the 30^th of April...have you decided for sure where it will be....at your house or where?

SANDY::::: boy that is true about planting seeds isn’t  it? once in a while you plant them the same way and they still don’t come up . other times they do....

Wow where do you sign up for the ( Big Event) lol I need about 2 sets of those kids ....sure would be nice ....we sometimes wonder why in the world are we doing all of this ...but it is worth it when everything starts blooming and looking so pretty...

Put a bunch of those kids in a truck and drive down to see me lol

good morning everyone! I have the boys today since they are having a spring break  and so I thought if I was going to have time to get on and say howdy that I better do it now!

How is everyone? Susan, cant wait for you to be rid of that nasty ole diabetes and be on the road to health..

Peggy Ive put the date of the sale on my calendar so we will at least see you in April for that, cant wait! And you too Bec, I am definately needing some good ole hugs from the gang.

I am thinking of taking all the GK to the movies are something today. If it doesnt snow on our parade...lol

Yesterday was a busy day and got a tetnus shot (required for the mission trip) and my arm hurt soooo bad last night. Still hurts some this morning. But it will be worth it to get to go on the trip. I need to go pay for that this month sometime.

Speaking of pay, I just paid yesterday for our new furnace...OUCH! That hurts the wallet but at least its warm in the house now.

Good morning to all.look's like it will be another cold day again.i am soo ready for the warm weather to come back.when it was here it spoiled me.here we are already thursday.by this time next week i will be getting ready to come home from the hospital.yheeee.

andy's doctor said andy is doing good.he was in there for over a hour yesterday.i thought they were going to keep him.lol.we have to go back to forsyth friday morning so andy can fasting lab work done.i also have to go to the pharmacy they had to order some thing's for me and they wont be in till later on today.we also will stop and see my dad again since we wont see him for a few day's.we are leaving monday for bec house.we will stay with her over night.her and paul have been such a blessing letting us stay with them.we are looking foward to seeing pooh bear tuesday morning.

it is calling for rain on monday so we are praying that is all it does.we dont want any snow or ice to drive in.we told the snow to go away.lol.

jan andy and i want to thank you and joe for watching after our kid's while we are gone.it will only be a day or two more than last time.we are going to make it where they have to stay in the front room.plenty of room there.so when you all come in the front door everything you all need will be there.if you move the board one time chrissy will slip by you quicker than you can say wow.she can move pretty fast when she want's too.lol.when i go to give them a bath i put one of them up and hand the other kid to andy.if i don't one see's the other getting a bath the other one will run and hide.it is like washing a kid's face and they don't want it done.lol.

renee you look good in your picture's.i know you miss your kid's.you are a good mom.we are looking foward to seeing you again.i want to sit in a bath tub again.i love bubble bath's.but i have such a hard time standing up afterward.

barbara glad to hear baby like's to walk with you.our mecko love's to walk with a leash but the other one does not.our kid's sure are spoiled aren't they.lol.gook luck with getting over the diet soda.my soda was diet coke.i have not had one for a long time now.i knew when i started too go get ready for my surgery i would have to stop drinking soda.the class i was too gave me a lot of good information.i drink a lot of flavored water now.

peggy happy birthday to you.that is me 29 again.lol.i will be 45 this oct.

sandy how are your veg coming along for you?jan has a lot going also.can hardly wait too start some planting.i love to garden and it is good excrise.i know after my surgery my knee's and back will work better.

bec how are you feeling today?how did your cheese cake turn out.i bet those baby chicken's are keeping you busy.

Been awhile since I posted...So I thougth Id drop by and say Hi and let ya all know Ive been thinking about ya!!!

Not alot been going on...Lately been busy wrapping up everyones taxes....I keep saying Im going to retire and not do them the next year but I get suckered back into it again every year lol....I onlly do them for family and friends anymore but it can still get over whelming at times. 

Ive jumped in and out reading about everyone here and therer but not really kept up with all thats going on lately....I hope your all doing good... Welcome to any newbies thats jumped on board lately. This is a great place to come for support and to make kewl friends!!!

Jan I seen where you mentioned to someone that Janet had not been on alot lately cause she was busy enjoying her new grand baby....Most of the time I get daily texts from her but have not heard alot from her for a bit now....She must really be soaking up the Nana stuff...LOL LOL LOL
I know how it can be to be too pre-occupied to find time to get on....Things get so crazy around me at times and I do good to find time to even think straight....

All the new pictures of all these skinny people look great. I am glad you put new ones up or we wouldn't recognize you. I am amazes atLou's 90 pounds.  I can't wait to see everyone.

I am off to Sedalia this morning for  my visit with Dr H and friends. I am glad I am not supposed to run into snow.I am ready for spring as long as there is no severe weather.

I hope evryone is doing ok and enjoying grandbabies. Nothing new here,same ole same ole . Maybe I need some excitement in my life............ on second thought no I like same ole same ole.

Good Morning Missouri...

Not much time this morning as I'm going to try and meet up with Susan and Marylin... I did not hear from NeNe but may just show up and Dr. H. in time for her appt... so I can give her a hug!

I will walk at Wal~Mart and pick up my strawberry plants and then think I may run out and spend some time with my mom... I have not seen her for awhile.... Paul works nights.

Then tomorrow I have someone coming so will need to be ready for that.  Boy oh boy where is this month going?

Susan... don't know how the cheesecake turned out but the queen bee's seemed to like it so I guess it was ok? :0)  And Paul did not complain either ~ha 

The chicks are coming right along... it amazes me how fast they change from day to day... you know they would have to... to be laying in just 4 to 5 months. I had to laugh at Tito again... he has a place he can jump up on to get a look see down into the tub the chicks are in when we are out there.... well yesterday he decided to jump on in with them!  He would go over and sniff them... they were pretty good with him in their space!  Tito has such a mind of his own! Thinks he can do just as he pleases...well once he got in the tub he couldn't get back out!  Boy did he whine and cry then!  But the silly dog he did it again!

Sugar where are you going on the missions trip?  That sounds exciting!  I will be so happy to see you and Mimi at the end of April!

Mimi ~ I have tried to get in contact with Jeanine as well... I sent her a card awhile back... I guess she is busy... she will come on and with us if she wants to I guess or when she is ready or able.  I sure do hope she is doing well and healthy! Such a sweet sweet lady!

Sandy... I am just about ready for the jeans but the black dress pants were smaller so it will be awhile...  the undergarments were all too big. But I will pass them along...  I sure do appreciate them.

Can't fool me...I know it's Thursday and not Wednesday....LOL

Your right you would think I couldn't gain weight but, when you don'****ch what your eating and you eat almost constantly because you think your hungry....I think, that's why I haven't gain a great big amount of my weight back also. Dr. H  always told me not to worry about what the charts say but, it's more important that we know what we feel best at and to go with that weight. According to the charts, I have never been small enough, even when I was low enough that I was wearing size 16 little girls clothes. So, I think he is right, that we know what our bodies feel right at what weight. Make sense?

I am planning on being at the sale when Peggy has that, just waiting on where it is going to be. A day of fun sounds good to me. I am just praying I can keep all 4 wheels on the ground.....LOL

Well, got to go take my 17 year old niece shopping for her birthday.

Morning all.....thank you so much for the birthday wishes!  Yes...I am 29...again!  Plus add 16.  So far it has been a busy day with some phone calls and emails.  Going to be a nice day...but I am staying inside if at all possible....too cold!  Even tho I need to get my secret pal's final gift in the mail and another thing for a good friend.  I may just wait until tomorrow.

Still looking for a gyno.  I think I have found one and I just hope I can get him to listen to everything that is going on.  I still think it's all related.  I also have another doctor I'm considering.  If all else fails I will give her a call.  She's more into holistic and natural alternatives.  But she does give meds, too.  And since I have to have something medicinal for my thyroid, she may have a bio-medicinal alternative.  I have to do research, tho....since without it I will die.  Slowly and painfully....ick.

Hubby got me some fun tools for my birthday.  A vise for my jewelry and a drilling tool and some bits for my glass and other things.  He's a nice guy.

The sale will be at the farm....lots of places to park and a big field for the tent.  I'm planning on getting a portapotty since there is no running water and I want people to have a place if needed.  The farm is on the south side of Belton, only about 10 miles or so from here.  I'll make sure and let you all know specific directions as we get closer.  And we haven't decided on a time, yet but when we do I'll let you know that, too.  Shucks, I may let you all come early!

That's about it for this cold, cold day.  I need to get my Bible reading done and some housework then I plan on playing the rest of the day.

Morning all, sure do miss the 70 degree weather. I hope you all were kidding when you said snow. I am so tired of winter and want spring to come as soon as possible. Sorry I didnt get a chance to post yesterday, it was insanity here. Had to take the dogs to the groomers and the kids to school. Once I finally made it into work, I was so busy setting up my travel arrangements for a business trip to Branson on Saturday I didnt get a chance to do much else during the day. I was late picking up the 2 and 4 legged kids. But left knowing I am all set and have today off, leave tomorrow for Branson, returning on Saturday.

Saturday my Mother should arrive to take care of the kids, then hubby and I leave for Sedalia on Sunday and my big day. I am not a very patient person, when I buy gifts for someone else they rarely make it to the intended day because I am so excited to give it to them and see their reaction. Thus the past 2 weeks have felt like they have dragged on. Yesterday went by pretty quick. And thank goodness my boss asked if I wanted to do this trip, that will make Friday and Saturday fly by. Taking the edge off my nerves.

Jan, you asked what the protein drink was that I found.  It is called Isopure it comes in several different flavors. Not that I can taste the difference in flavors. But if you have access to the Commissary it is only about $3 for a 20 oz bottle.But I know GNC also carries it it is about $5 - 6 there, you can also purchase it by the case.  I was wrong when I said it had nothing else. It has 40 g or protein (whey protein) 160 calories, no fat, no sugars and no carbs. Only issue I have found is the film it can leave in your mouth. But you get past that I guess.  I have yet to mix it with Jello as the Cold Liquid, I will let you know how that goes. 

I thought I had only walked 1 mile on Monday, I had actually walked 2 miles.  Tuesday I walked 1 mile, had my protein drink before my walk and had no issues and felt like I could have walked more. But since I went walking after work, and left my brain somewhere, thus forgetting to tell my husband to pick up my son from school at 4:30 I was called to come and get him. Then hubby called and he couldnt pick up my daughter either because he was stuck at work. But I felt good all night Tues night. So I think I may have just overdone it. Another fault I have being overzealous.

 This stupid weather is just crazy....80 degree's last week and now they are calling for snow....geeezzzzz. COME ON SUMMER ALREADY.
 Thank you all for the wonderful complement's about the pictures. They are my favorites.
 I'm working on getting my secret pals package all together, I was going to send her things here and there, but figured it would be easier and better to just send all the things at once. I hope she likes them.

 Jan sounds like you might be having rooster soup before to long. LOL I'm like you I hate being woke up like that.
 I hope I can lose the 7lbs by my 6 months, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems like I lose about 5lbs and then stall for awhile. If I do great if I don't oh well...I will get there.
 OMG the tub is just awesome and sooooooo relaxing. I LOVE IT!!!!!
 I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to the meeting or not, I have a doctor's appt. in Joplin that day, plus to top it off both mine and Tiffs car's are broke down, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
