Luke & Trey won FIRST PLACE IN THE KANSAS COMPETITION FOR DECCA!!

Good Afternoon MO Peeps!

Just had to get on-line for a few minutes.  We just got back from the DECCA Competition.  Luke and his long time childhood friend won FIRST PLACE in the Sports & Entertainment Marketing KANSAS STATE DECA Competition!!  This is only the 2nd year that Gardner-Edgerton High School has participated and they have TWO teams going to NATIONALS in Anaheim, CA!!  The other team won 2nd place in another category (can't remember which one).  On top of that all of us were there to see him get the award!  Even his girlfriend Becca is in town from Texas!

I guess I'd better scoot.  Becca got here late Sunday night and will be here until next Sunday.  I've know her since she was in 7th grade.  However, it's nice to get to know her again.  She's going to teach me how to make one of those "rag" blankets.  We bought the fabric yesterday.  I'm going to make one for my Mom for Mother's Day.  Becca assures me they're really easy to make.  I hope she's right!
