Protein ideas

Lots of questions here today. Gearing up I guess and looking at my alternatives.

So my question here is, and sorry it pertains to Jello, but has anyone tried using the protein liquid drinks in place of the cold water in Jello Jigglers or Jello period?

The Commissary here has several large bottles of Protein liquid, one of which was blue raspberry, I was just thinking that it sounded like it would be good with the Jello instead of drinking it straight out of the bottle, which I hear can be rather nasty.

Any other ideas on protein would be much appreciated. I already printed off the protein balls, which when I get to that point will be very excited to try. My Aunt growing up made peanut butter balls pretty much the same way and I love them.  Just looking for additional creative ideas if anyone has them.

Mary lots of girls have lots of good recipes and i do , some of them. but for me and what works best for me is keeping it as simple as i can....the more i cook healthy foods the more healthy foods and others that i can eat and then my weight  starts creeping up....so im a creature of habit and can eat the same thing day after day, especially when i know it is right and good.
have you seen Peggys recipe for protein souffle? they are really good. and get a good amount of protein in them ....nice soft food when you get to that stage...
welcome to the board...hope you have a good long life with us...Jan

I used unjury unflavored in jello and it worked as long as you mix it with the cold water. It settles to the bottom but is not to bad, I never thought to try it with the liquid. I haven't found a liquid protein I like. I stick with the powders. Maybe you could freeze it in Popsicles.

I will have to try it in popsicles, thanks for the idea!!

I love to cook and bake. So this will be my biggest challenge, and do not do well with the same food over and over again. So I am looking at different ideas on how to make the new diet interesting and give me something to look forward too, instead of thinking I am sacrificing it all. If that makes sense.  Plus I have to feed my family and if I can sneak in the healthier meals on their parts I figure I may be saving my daughter from having to do this surgery later in her life.

I did find the recipe forum on here so I will have to give that a looksie once I am up to solid foods.

Thanks again for all your help.
