Reading in Mark about the signs of the end of times, if you sit and think about it, the time is getting closer that the Lord will return.  Some of the things it mentions already take place now.  It says nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, well as we can see that’s already happening with all the wars going on over in different countries.  It also says children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death that too is happening, as we see in the news sometimes there’s always something like that going on, what about that 8 year old I think it was, that killed his dad and dad’s friend?  Just another sign of the end of times. There’s little stuff like that going on all the time right around us and we don’t realize that it’s all mentioned in the bible about the end of times.  More and more things happen each day and we don’t even realize its all about of the plan God has.  Sometimes I wish He’d hurry up lol

I really liked the devotional today, laughing is like good medicine and does a person good.  As we’ve seen already by what we have read in the bible at points God Himself has a sense of humor and likes to make us laugh.  The joy of the Lord is our strength, so to get stronger we have to have joy in our lives. Life would be so boring if we didn’t have any joy, wouldn’t it?

Daily Devotional

Genesis 21:6, AMP
"And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh; all who hear will laugh with me"

Is there a dream or promise in your heart that seems impossible? Sarah was 90 years old when God gave her a son. After the birth of Isaac, whose name actually means laughter, Sarah was so full of the joy of the Lord that she just had to laugh! What looked impossible with man became possible with God.

Whatever your cir****tances may be today, God wants to make you laugh. He wants to fill you with joy knowing that He has victory in store for you. Maybe you're sick and you know God has told you you're going to be well. Or you're struggling financially, but God is saying He's going to prosper you. Perhaps your family is pulled apart. God is saying He's going to bring them back together. Don't listen to negative, self-defeating thoughts. Instead, remember the story of Abraham and Sarah. No matter how you may feel, no matter how bad it looks, let out the laugh of faith and just say, "Ha, ha! I've got inside information. I know God has already worked it out. He's already arranged things in my favor. It's just a matter of time before these promises come to pass."

Today's thought: I trust God have a good plan for me, and I know I can laugh at the days to come. Let my joy be contagious to all who hear me today.
