Drs Visit

Well leave it up to me if i didn't have bad luck i would have no luck at all.
I get there go inside,go to the desk to get checked in,had a pain hit me in my chest that almost took me to my knees,Broke out in a cold sweat, Next thing i know i got the Dr the receptionist,the nurse all taking b/p,putting on 02,poking nitro tab under my tounge,giving me 4 baby asprin and calling Er., Was sent to Er. Got there got stuck 3 times trying to get iv in, Did ekg,blood work,chest xray,pee test.Got more nitro.morphine and told that my ekg they did today has changed since the one they did in Jan.Something different on the left side.No explanation no nothing.Told to get in contact with bypass dr and go see dr ceismeir in a couple days.Was sent home with nitro pills.
I freakin give up.I am so sick of this surgery,of the unexplained weight gain and all the bull**** that goes with it.Only good thing is i finally pooped.I am freakin hungry but cant eat anything, and i am a major ***** right now.I'll try and post more tomorrow but wanted ya all to know what a damn lovely day i had.

All I can say is that I'm sorry and I'm praying for you.  I know you are frustrated and really sick.  And I am worried.  And there is nothing I can do.  I am so sorry.  Vent all you want...and hopefully you will get the help you need and soon.

Thank you.And i am sorry for being so hateful and negative, but right now i am just frustrated and feel lost.I have so many emotions going on right now and none of them are very good,I just wanna cry .But dont like crying. I'm just a messed up mess LOL.

Oh CRAP!!!, I am so so sorry, I sure wish you had gotten a better dr visit, you have to go to the bypass doc and make him listen to you, I can't believe no one is worried about the water retention! that is so un freaking believable to me, if you hold onto that much water, that means your heart is unable to pump strong enough to move out the water,now their giving you nitro pills. What are the x-rays showing..what is differen't? what do you mean you don't know? How can they NOT explain to you what they found that is "differen't"? none of it makes any sense . I would be mad as hell if I were you, do you have an assertive husband, child, friend? You need one of the above to go to your next appointment and really advocate , I wish I were closer I sure would do it. You are not being hateful or negative,Anyone would be upset in your shoes, In fact I am upset just reading about it. Please keep trying to find a good doc, the nitro pills won't cure the problem it is just treating the symptom...the question is what the heck is causing the symptoms, wish I were a doc. love and prayers keep us posted..ps glad you pooped anyway!!

Thank You Susy.. the fluid has got me worried the worst.Going to Call Dr ceismeir make another appt hopefully tomorrow or monday.I have heard she is good.I just hope she listends to me.I know my body and it is letting me know something is going on that isnt right.I'll keep you posted.Thanks for being a friend abd careing,

Oh Deb, how frightening.  I agree with Susan that the fluid retention is related to the heart and that you need to find an assertive someone to go with you to the doc's office.  You need to come home with the name of a diagnoisis.  Something you can research and understand.  My heart really goes out to you.  Take care.
