Eatin' Good Wednesday.....Sick hubby...sigh

I swear....just when I think I am going to get something accomplished....
guess who stays home sick!!  And he will be out for days....he has a heart stress test scheduled for next week.  So....the stress of dealing with his mother's CRAP has caused me to have seizures and now they are looking at his heart!  They aren't sure if he had a heart attack (the sonogram of his heart looked good), but they are thinking it may be stress and they are ruling out the other.   Sigh....I can't get ahead.  But you know what?  This did not catch God off guard....and I can deal with whatever it is.  I may whine and complain, but I will be ok...

Outta bed....coffee

Around 11....pumpkin/banana souffle' with warm custard  (to DIE for)

Snacks....3-4 ounces of cheese, protein hot chocolate, 8 wheat thins
     Edited to add:  peanut butter and crackers (oops)

Edited to add:  Dinner...tried a few bites of leftover cashew chicken,yuck...later on had a protein bar....yuck again.

 Water is good and vits are right on track.

How did you all do today?  Deb (Pooh)  did you get any answers?  I know Bec is busy with family and she has had oodles of visitors.  And Susy, good to see your day yesterday.  Jan's probably having omelets out the wazoo!

Where do you get the protein hot chocolate?

Breakfast- mighty milk light chocolate- this was actually very good- sugar free and lactose free

Lunch- tilapia and broccoli - left overs from Applebees weigh****cher menu without rice

Dinner- taco without the tortilla

Only got 50oz of water in today.

Hi....nice to see you here!

The protein hot chocolate is a concoction of Bec's (she posts when she isn't so busy!)  This is how she told me to do it:

You'll need SF hot chocolate mix (Swiss Miss has a 25 cal one that is great) and your favorite vanilla or chocolate protein.

Fill a mug halfway with milk (I use Carb Countdown) and microwave until close to boiling.  While it is heating, add protein to what you use to mix and add enough very ho****er to mix completely.  When milk is hot, add hot chocolate and wis****il mixed.  Slowly add protein/water and mix again.  Don't heat the hot chocolate after the protein is added, it gets grainy.  Bec also adds SF Torani syrup (caramel) to add extra flavor.

That's it and it is really good.  I did something wrong tonight and it clumped.  I think I overheated the milk.  I'll figure it out.

You look like you are doing pretty well!  I'm sure you will figure out how to get the rest of the water in.  It sure does take a lot of work.

Bec made that for Susan and I too, mmmmmmmm so yummy and then sent home with us stuff to make a couple, I made them yesterday morning and soooo good.  Gonna go get the stuff to make em from walmart, really makes for a nice change in protein shakes.
