WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Chickens did great last night and today we got 5 eggs , good huh....there is this one black hen that is so funny..we were in the chicken pen with the saw horses, the saws the hammers etc. and I would be over with some lumber measuring it and then going to cut it. she would jump up on the saw horses and jus****ch me.. and just sing away..lol  Joe said well wouldn’t you know it your making them into pets huh? I told him yeah it isn’t like we are planning on eating them...we are just friends it makes them happy and they give us lots of eggs ....lol

Then he went and got a rooster from the neighbor...i told him I don’t know why you have to have him it isn’t like we are going to raise baby chicks they are too much trouble ..sort of like any baby...cute but lots of trouble.

 

Well we finished up the chichen coop and got their nest, roosts and feeders and water thing all fixed up...all we have to do tomorrow is finish up the gate...it still needs hings on it , right now we have it tied up with wire...

 

Wednesday hopefully we are going to get the garden dug up...and will get the fence up an start getting that ready for planting later. Im really excited about having a good big garden this year, I hope it does better than most peoples did last year.

Oh yeah I have 3 tomatoes on one of the tomatoe plants in the green house. ...

 

 

 

ANDY::::::I know you and Susan had a blessed afternoon and night with Bec . She certainly knows how to make people feel really special doesn’t she?

So how did you like Dr. Fearing?Im glad that is who she got , if she couldn’t have Dr. H.

 

Your puppies just don’t want to come to us ...Mieko will come to us and when I went over yesterday afternoon she came to me and I took her out but Crissy just would not come out...i sit out on the edge of the porch and Mieko did her business and I had the door open so Chrissy could come out if she wanted to but she wouldn’t...so Mieko got done and went back in the house..maybe when Susan has surgery we can keep them at out house? Don’t know if that would work or not ?

 

Be careful comeing home this afternoon....

 

 

 

DEB::::: as much trouble as you are having eating , you just keep on with those slider foods girl...if you can keep them down  don’t worry about what someone else says that you should or shouldn’t be doing. There aren’t many foods that I can eat besides slider foods. I cant chew them up enough is the problem....false teeth you know. Lol  so if you are able to keep Chili down or stew minus the potatoes, or beans and ham  don’t worry you are getting good protein ..

Cant wait for this winter to be gone  too.

 

 

 

LOU::::::: lol I had a huge red rooster chase me out of the barnyard too when I was about 4 or 5....Know if he would start that now I would wring his neck. Lol

SUSIE:::::::hope you had a good day with the kiddos...Im so glad that we have people like you to teach . I know I would never have the patience to do that...especially with some of the smart mouth kids we have now days. I know most of them aren’t like that but there are some...

RENEE:::: I know your heart is breaking but it will get better. And who knows they may be back soon. You just never know.  They do have to try their wings and have to do their own thing ....

Im glad that you still have Miss Peanut...hopefully will get  to see her one day soon.

How is Janet? I sure wish she would get on now and then and let us know how she is.

Who is the new Doctor that she talked about in her last time on line? Has she seen him yet?

Well welcome back Sugar. We all missed you.

I still have about 6 inches of snow. Almost none melted yeaterday except on the roads. My front door is still buried in a drift. I did get my mailbox tied back. I hope it stays on. All I need is a good wind and it will be gone. On this hill you never know. I only work half a day today.Boy have they got the wrong person, its for the computer lab. I am awful with computers. Wish I had said no but I spent way to much money on my new room.
I say yes way to much, I don't have time during the week to get anything done. I need to go shopping.
My prayers are with Marilin today and I will see her tomorrow afternoon.

Still waiting on the warm weather here,hope it hurries up.

Hi Auntie Jan and Peeps,

How is everyone?  I know, I know-dont go into shock.... I am really sorry I have been away so long-I dont mean to-I really want to get in every day and I do plan it and so on....then the day wears on-and then when there is a free moment, I end up falling asleep-Im getting old! LOL.

I am on babys schedule.  Her momma does get up with her all night, BUT....I still wake up when she cries. Nothing we can do about that! I do enjoy any time I get with her though and never tire of holding her and feeding her bottles and such. I love it when Megan asks for help, but I dont interfere (i really dont) and I dont get in their business-Only if I am asked do I...I have offered twice, when I saw her struggling, but other than that-I just wait to be asked.  Thank goodness I had all the necessities for her for such a long time-LOL....because we have really utilized the swing, the bouncy/vibrating seat, and basinett. LOL... I had forgotten I even had that.  She loves her swing. Its not one of those big fancy ones, but it sure does the trick just the same!  Oh-and she HATES taking baths!  She has a temper (looking up to the sky) Im not sure where she gets that-LOL LOL... I tried to email out some pics of her, but for some reason, they wouldnt go-so I will try again at a later date.

Today I may be meeting with Cor when and if she comes through Joplin. She is suppose to text me and let me know. She may be driving through from Texas, and would like to meet. May meet her at like Flying J or something and I can buy her a water (LOL) or a salad.  Will see. My day is really full today, but Im sure I wont get an opportunity to meet her again any time soon, so I am looking forward to it and planning it thus far.

Jon is still sleeping-and so I am getting a little nervous, because he also cuddled up with Mike and went to bed like an hour earlier than his bedtime, which is really rare. I hope and pray he is okay.  We have a full day, and he has been doing so well.....

Well, I have to get this wrapped up so that Aaron can get online with their computer.  Told him Id be 10 minutes and its been 30 already.  Please say some prayers that a house comes through for them, quickly.  Love them and the baby-its just hard for all involved when you mix 2 families into one household and everyone has their own way of living and such. You understand. Anyway-any prayers you can say for that subject would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Jan-to answer your ? I have to go see a doc to get tested for neuropathy (sp?). I am also seeing a new pain management doc that will help get me off all the narcotics and get me on one medication and then a break through pain pill.  The med is Topamax and is usually given for seizures, but is also being tested for long term chronic pain relief and has been kicking butt in that area-so thats what we are hoping will work.  Im not sure what will happen with the nueropathy testing.....I havent even had time to read up on it yet, but I will-along with the Topamax.  Both appts are the end of this month, so I still have a couple of weeks of living with this constant, daily pain-that has been worse, as the weather has stayed cold.

How many chickens did you get?  We already have a chicken coop and the boys have been asking about getting some chickens (the coop is quite large) and I thought it may be worth it depending on how many chickens we would have to have to get some eggs-LOVE fresh eggs.  Let me know-

Morning Missouri....

Cloudy and cool here.  We ended up with about 6 inches and the sun did quite a number yesterday even tho it was bitterly cold.  Today is supposed to be warmer and it FEELS warmer but I miss the sunshine.  I am sooooo ready for spring.  But aren't we all?

Sigh....I wanna go see Bec again.  I haven't felt that loved in such a long time.  What a girl...

I have another test scheduled today.  It's supposed to be painful, but only for a short while.  I really need to find out what is in there and how big it is and what the next step is going to be.  There is some pressure now and a heaviness.  Kinda crampy, too.  I'm not worried, just ready to get on with whatever they are going to do next.  I hate waiting.  I want to get healthy and STAY healthy for a while.....lol.  I have WAY to much going on this year and this stuff is just getting in the way!  lol

So concerned for Renee'.....my heart breaks for her, too.  I thought I was going to die when my daughter and her husband moved away.  And they are so far away....  But I talk to her a lot and that helps.  But I so understand how much it hurts....and as Jan said....it does get better.  Not perfect, just a little easier.

Janet...I worry about you, too.  I know having her in the house is wonderful but it is difficult, too.  It's always difficult when you have two families in the same home.  Praying for you, sweetie.  I really hope your doctor can help with the pain.  I have taken Topamax in the past....the only thing I struggled with is that I felt "dopey" and foggy.  I think it is better if they start low and move up, but you may voice this concern with your doctor.  All my nurses called it "Dopamax".  Don't want to scare you because it does kick butt with pain, but you do need to be aware, so you aren't caught off guard.

I pray that Andy and Susan got all spoiled and have a safe trip home.  They will be doing a liquid diet for the next two weeks.  Those of you that had to do that understand.  I think it's neat that Andy is going to do it with her.  Moral support.  Deb...(poohbear)....feeling any better?   Loved the prayer post!  And yes, ice cravings are signs of anemia.  I am really worried about your body...too many things going on.  Please keep us posted.

I agree with Jan that teaching does take special people.  I don't have the patience so when Susie and Debbie D talk about it, I can only imagine.  You girls (and whomever else teaches) are special!  And Lou's story about the rooster....I understand!  Not roosters, but POSSUMS!!!!  (shiver)

Hey Y'all,

Im just sittin here waiting for Susan to get through her pre-op testing so thought I'd try and see if I could connect to the net and catch up on whats going on.  We had such a great time at Bec's last night,  as usual she's the perfect hostess.  Her and Paul both just make ya feel right at home and make ya laugh all night lol. 

Susan has been through a couple of the tests already, right now she's getting a chest X-ray done then she has to go pre register for surgery then we're done until 3pm which is her excerise class.  She's gonna try and get into that early so we'll see, otherwise we'll be here until about 4pm then get on the road for home.  Yesterday was real productive at the Clinic classes, they give you tons of information, you sure dont go away from there not knowing anything, if you go away from there still with questions its your own fault lol.  We started the 2 week liquid diet, Bec fixed us a hot chocolate protein drink that was so good, hopefully the next two weeks will go by fast.

Jan thank you so much for taking care of our dogs, I'm sorry they wont go out for you,  we'll figure something out for when we're gone for Susan's surgery.  We'll be home sometime tonight, prolly 10pm or so.  Im sure you'll hear the dogs barking at us when we drive up lol. Thats to funny about the chicken you made friends with, they can be funny lil things  lol.

hello to all.hope everyone stayed warm last night.it sure was cold here.it will be soo nice to see the 70 degree weather come on thursday.i am going to ask it to stay.lol.
