WHATS HAPPENINGTHIS LAST DAY OF FEBURARY

Boy what a difference a day makes....especially in the Ozarks weather. Right? Thursday was 73 here and today only got to 40 but was cloudy and windy ....Couldnt get Joe to do anything outside yesterday and so today in this cold he wanted to work outside in the cold building the chicken coop...we almost have it done. We are making it up as we go along not the best thing to do but so far is looking really good....we made it up a couple of feet off the ground ...will have screenwire on 3 sides with the ability to pull down a door when and if needed.

Haven’t done a lot of stuff other than that...went to town to get some screws and nails so when to the  grocery store while we were in there, they were having a big sale in the back

Store room. Weird? Yeah but had great sales. They even had some dishes like mine there or so really close that you can barely tell them apart.  So now I have enough plates for 16...and they were only 50 cents for each item...these are my rooster plates.lol ...

I got so c old outside that I thought I was going to die, told Joe that I have had all of it I can stand...I will help him some in the morning but not for long...

We have to get the kitchen straightened up and decorated for baby girls birthday party lol

There wont be a lot here but enough so have several things to do...

Kim is bringing her cake ...i bought princess plates, and all the trimmings. Lol

Will have to have Joe blow up the pink balloons...and I will put up all the other stuff.

 

I need to sit down and pay some bills tomorrow too. we have some medical bills for Joe  from his surgery on the neck that I have to get paid ...just hate to do it .

 

 

BEV::::: YEP and I tried to tell you about the protein and vitamins too didn’t i?  and then on top of not getting those in you just wasn’t eating because you got sick a lot right? And if you had been getting in your vits and protein you wouldn’t have been sick right? Is a hard concept that we have to eat to lose weight...and I think that is where a lot of this comes from. All of our lives we try the best we can to not eat much so we will lose weight...then all of a sudden we have this tint pouch that wont hold much anyway but we are still trying to (diet) and we don’t need to

On the medical bracelet I will order mine when I get paid around the 3^rd ok?

PEGGY::::: yep that is about what I take but I take 3 calcium two times a day...there isn’t much of a way that I could every remember every 2 hours....

Can you take your thyroid meds at night right before going to bed? Don’t know if that  is an option or not...or does it HAVE to be

 in the morning

Don’t worry about the plants coming up they are use to this cold weather like this , it doesn’t hurt them...I have daffodils just getting ready to put buds on , hyacinths’ with large buds. Tulips up about an inch...and lots of other spring stuff getting green or getting buds on them...looks like it would frost them and I guess it can but has to get really really cold and for quite awhile before it messes with them...Cant wait for you to come down

this year. I love to show off my flowers ...lol or rather Gods flowers, im just the care taker of them...

 

 

DEE::::::well the new man in your life sounds pretty nice...just don’t rush into something. Ok? If it is real it wont matter if you take your time...if it isn’t it wont withstand time but wouldn’t that be better to know now that later?

 

How is Cody doing in school...has he lost any weight since you are on ristrictions?

DEB:::::: lol well that sounds about right , someone calls with a question about food or what ever and telling them you are having a lot of pain....and throwing up...and what is it tells you is to do , eat more foods and don’t take the protein shakes only under the right ...well sounds like he didn’t listen to you at all...

Sounds like they don’t have a good bed side manner...

Maybe we need to go thump them on the head...the spells you are having could be from lack of all of the above...

If it weren’t for slider foods I wouldn’t be doing well at all....

 

 

SUSIE:::: I hope you have a good houseful tomorrow...sure wish I could get up there but had already decided on the birthday party before I saw your dater...anyway would love to be there. Sugar would like it too im sure.

 

 

LOU::::: you do take a lot of vits. But I bet I take just as many....your right it takes a lot to get everything done for yourself...that is why when someone (like Oprah) says it is the easy way out would like to slap them lol

I called Park seeds again today about my seeds I ordered and she said they were so swamped with seed orders this year that they had to hire a lot of new people in the mail order department... She said they had never sold as many seeds before as they have this year...

 

 

BEC:::: it is so hard to say when is the prettiest in the gardens....i dearly love my iris...and always so excited when they bloom but earlier in the year with the tulips and daffodils is beautiful also.... I will tell you when they all start blooming and then you all can take your pick or come each month at all seasons lol wouldn’t bother me any if you all came down e ach month lol ...it just blesses me to pieces for others to enjoy  Gods gardens...

 

 

Speaking of Sugar she got a new computer and my son was suppose to be there on Wed to set it up for her...so don’t know where she is...and why she hasn’t been back on yet...

 

Ok Janet we need another report on how things are going.... we have several that haven’t been posting lately , don’t know what is going on with them....

Thanks Jan.  Yeah he is a real sweetie.  And don't worry Momma Jan, we are taking it slow.  We both agree that if it is meant to be it will survive taking it slow.  Cody is trying his best in school which is all I ask of him but he is having a hard time.  I am working on trying to get him in a resource room for special help but so far the school doesn't agree with me.  But I'm not done fighting yet.  They say that since he is making C's he doesn't need help but what I can't get them to understand is the only reason he is making C's is because I am tutoring him for 4 hours every night re-teaching him everything he was supposed to learn in class.  I refuse to let him flunk.  For one, he would hate school after that and two, he is already so much bigger than the other students I couldn't imagine if he was in with the current 3rd graders.  He's 5'-3 1/2" and weighs 150 pounds.  He's not your average 11 year old.  As for his losing weight, not really but he has been toning up a bit since I have him going with me to the Y to exercise.  Have a great Saturday......I know I will....can't wait to see my man.

Good morning to all.hope everyone is staying warm.andy looked out this evening and it was trying to do something then.we sure do not need any of the bad weather they are calling for.some of the towns andy and i will be driving through are supposed to be getting snow today.i asked the sunshine to come out and melt it before we drive through there.i can hardly wait for the nice warm weather they are calling for next week.

jan it sure was cold out yesterday.your chicken coop is looking good.when you do get your seed's i sure will be glad to help you with planting them.thank you for being my surgery angel.my knee is doing better.when it is nice i want to try and walk outside again.i sure will be using the treadmill again also.

jan your granddaughter sound's soo sweet.we want to thank you and joe for checking on our two kid's while we are gone.mecko turned 13 yesterday.

pooh bear it will be soo nice to meet you if i am out of surgery that day.andy is going to call jan when i come out of surgery.

bec we can hardly wait to see you on monday.you and paul are very sweet people.you sure do know how to spoil someone.

Virgil and I are both on antibiotics, colds and sore throats, drat it.....
the doctor said if you would use 2 squirts in each nostril of saline solution each day that it would keep colds and any germs away...that we get germs thru the nose hair, My daughters doc that did her surgery told her...it would be worth a try sure want hurt you......

I think I need a BEC fix...lol

I do know Jan is a wonderful hostess, her and Joe make you feel right at home, I don't know when I had a better time than when Virg and I visited them and got to spend time with Andy and Susan too, anytime you are comfortable enough to pull off your shoes and lay down on the sofa, the first time I was there and I did that>......I went to the bathroom and Jan dozed off...lol,,now that is comfort..she is like a sister to me>

Hello Everyone;

Don't faint, it's really is me. Sent hubby out this morning at 5 am to make the roads safe for all travelers. He may have to wor****il 7 pm. Depends on the roads and weather.  Those of you who don't know me, hubby works for MoDot.

I am gradually getting better. Now fighting a head cold. Always something. "Baby" is doing great. Running on the injured leg quite a bit. She is more spoiled now than ever. She was in obedience training when the accident happen so, haven't trained any since December 4Th. Started that again yesterday and she did everything as if there was no break at all. She is such a little sweet heart.

I have kept up with the board and had everyone in my prayers. I am here everyday, just don't have much to say.  Have been going out walking on these nice days we have had. Haven't left the house much since the accident, little scared of the dizzies I have had. They are getting less and less.

Haven't seen a single flake of snow. I am still doubting I will. I hope to see a lot of you today,if not I will miss you.
I am so looking forward to spring. I am not handling the cold as well as I used to. I just hope we have a sring and it doesn't go straight to summer. The power bill could use a break. Its been a long winter.Only thing is I have  no warm weather clothes. I guess that means I will have to go shopping more. DH will love that, he'll get over it.

Hello Everyone,
 This weather is sooooo crazy. I should have known it was going to do something since I was planning a bbq today. I wanted to make a couple of Kala's favorite's on the grill before she left, oh well they can be fixed inside in the oven and crock pot, just wont have the same taste. I'm just glad we decided not to have a bunch over and keeping it low key. I'm not trying to be selfish just want a little time with my baby. I keep wondering since this is the last night she will be here if I can manage to push Lee out of bed and snuggle with her. LOL I know sounds silly but Kala has always been my snuggler and I'm going to miss crawling up behind her and stroking her hair while she sleeps.
 I have been trying to stay positive this past week and have tried not to think about Kala leaving, and I've done pretty good staying busy, I have to be honest though there have been times when nobody has been around or when someone says something and I completely lose it. I've been trying my hardest not to do this except for when I was alone. I know this is not the end of the world and she will be back for visits or I will go there, but there are times (most of the time) I feel like it's the end of my little world.
 I went to my foot doctor yesterday and got most of my stitches out, he left a couple in the bottom of my foot and I go back Friday to get those out (hopefully). I was really kinda shocked yesterday here I had been thinking my toes was infected they looked really nasty, but he said they looked really good and as a matter of fact the best he had seen, I was like what your kidding as nasty as they look. He said there was no infection at all it just looked that way because there was no nail or skin there, and that I had done a great job with them. I was thinking to myself "yea cause I did extra stuff thinking they was in bad shape". So I was pretty happy about that.
 Thursday I went to a knee doctor or I should say coak, he told me 2 years ago I had a bone spur and I needed shots in it and if that didn't work surgery, now he's telling me there is nothing really wrong with my knee and theres nothing he can do for me, and he doesn't know why I'm having knee pain, duh maybe it's the friggin not sticking out of it. So I plan to get a second opinion on it. I'm not stupid I know when I'm in pain, there are times I can hardly walk because of it. 
 Fran (Larry's mom) and I had a good day yesterday we went shopping for a little bit before my appointment. I found some cute stuff for Noah and MacKenzie. I got Noah the cutest little photo scrapbook already put together just need to add pictures to it, and some little mitten's and a few other thing's. Then I found MacKenzie some cute hair ribbons and bows, and the sweetest pair of pj's I have ever seen. Fran and I just went nuts over them. I guess I kind o***** the best of both world's having a baby boy and girl to shop for, it sure is alot of fun.
 I also picked up another gift for my secret pal that I think she's going to like, I sure hope so anyways. And of course I picked up some more rubber duckies for Tiff. She has started her hope chest and her and Chris have started getting stuff for their house for when they move in together in May. They have decided or I should say Tiff has decided to do the bathroom in rubber ducks.
 Wednesday we took some really good picks of just the girl's and me. I will get them posted as soon as I can. They sure turned out nice. I compared them to our last ones taken, and OMG do I look different. I knew I had been changing but I didn't think that much (and yes I cried lol).
 I better get this wrapped up I need to get alot of stuff done before the kids get here, I don't want to have to be working when I could be spending time with them. Please say some prayers for them to have safe travel and everything works out for them, and for me to have strength. This is for sure one of the hardest things for me.

Jan poor Miss Peanut got a hair cut or I should say shave. She doesn't much like hair cuts and Kala's not that good at it so in order for her not to look like she has something bad wrong with her Kala ended up finally just shaving her. Poor thing looks so funny, thank goodness she has clothes especially in the snow. LOL

Susan I'm just so excited for you. It sounds like you are going to be a busy lady this week, and if I read it right you will get to see Bec. Please give her a huge hug for me.

Bec sounds like you have been blessed with alot of good company, I'm so very happy for you, I know how much you enjoy it all. I so can't wait to see you again. I will call you about Janet and my little trip as soon as I can. Please give Susan and Andy a hug for me.

Janet I hope you get to feeling better soon, I just hate when your sick. I was so so so hoping you would make it down today (and still hoping). I can hardly wait until we get some time, I'm in great need of sister time.
