Hello to all, I just wanted to let everyone know that before my RNY my triglicerides (SP?) were over 900 and my cholesterol was very high too. Now, I had a vitamin panel and cholesterol and stuff ran and it is now down to 123!!! I am so happy about this. I am stopping the cholesterol meds ( since I havent been taken for a few months anyways.. ) They changed my meds to where I was going to go from paying $1 to $25.00 and I had a good feeling with all the weightloss and good diet and exercise that my cholesterol and tri have gone down alot. Anyways, we are settled into our new home. What a good time to move.

Jordan is about 5'10, Jarett has lost 25lbs and is about 5'4 Jazlyn is somewhere around 4'8 and everyones weight has gone down since I started cooking healthier. Jordan is doing well since the car accident ( he wa**** by a car) his seizures are minimal and will be running track. He didnt do football or bball because of the accident. He wasnt up to par yet. Jarett played football ( and won the Joplin Youth football superbowl 1st time ever 6th grade won a superbowl) and is playing basketball. Jazlyn is also playing basketball and we just signed her up for soccer. She is in 1st grade. She is also in Girl Scouts. So, yes I am a very busy mom :D I wouldnt have it any  other way... I couldnt have the energy to do so much without the RNY. I have been volunteering .I would like to do more...

Someone very close to me was diagnosed with Cancer and it is spreading. I am having a hardtime dealing with this. If anyone has anything advice how to deal with it I would appreciate it. I have been having some depression because I am just not ready for the worst. They are doing radiation, but 3 more tumors have formed in the last 6 wks. They took 1 out and did a biopsy about 2 months ago and 3 more have come... Its not looking too promising... Please keep my family in your prayers. We could use them.

Thank You for your time in reading my post. I hope everyone has a great weekend and be safe!

Hi Lori, glad to see your doing so well health wise, It is such a great feeling to be able to keep up with your kids and have them be proud of you, I know mine loved me at the size I was, but looking good makes them feel good too! I am so sorry about your loved ones cancer, I haven't had to deal with that myself, but I would suggest lots of prayer, which is pretty much all you can do other than running errands and being a shoulder to lean on for support. I hope things work out well and that you will be able to deal with whatever  the conclusion, you are a strong beautiful woman and you will be a wonderful help to this person, you are obviously a great supportive friend to have. Susan

Thank You susan!! That meant alot to me. I appreciate what you both wrote to me. It is a step parent. I am doing pretty good and I know that there isnt much I can do but help out whenever needed and pray. My kids tell me all the time how proud they are. They dont ever remember me being this size. My daughter who is 7 doesnt say  as much as my boys but they are 14 and 12 and remember the ups and downs of the surgery... They have been a great help and support system with working out and walking. It is still hard for me to believe that I have come so far. Thanks to everyone who has read my updates and been there for me. I appreciate it.
