WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Something I have been wondering about...when you all say you are working on getting in all your vits....how often are you taking those things and how many at a time? the reason I ask is that I take mine at breakfast , lunch and dinner....and swallow more than one at atime. I haven’t had any trouble doing that since about 4 months out....

I take all the required  pills but also take extra things that I think we need like  Omega3 .

Anyway I just wondered because if you are only taking what is required it is only multi vit, calcium, and b complex isn’t it? that is only 3 pills or 6 if you have to double it...so howcome it is so hard to get that few of pills down?  With our bodies  altered like they are if you don’t start getting them down I hope you wont get sick,,,,it wont show up right away, may take quite a while but when the body gets depleted of certain vits you will get sick and sometimes it is almost impossible to get it built back up....so please start taking all of them all the time. IT IS YOUR LIFE  WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.. ok enough from me on this....just really worry about you that aren’t getting them in....old mother hen syndrome I guess. Lol

 

Wasn’t it one of the most beautiful days Wednesday...it was 73 down here at our place...

We got the fence completely done for the Chickens...also the gate  to the pen...tomorrow we will get the  coop done...and then I can call the guy that has them and sit it up to meet him somewhere ..I guess we need to borrow a chicken carrier to bring them back home it

 

Or neighbor was burning some limbs this afternoon , his brush pile was all burnt up and so he watered it down and went on up to his house....about an hour later I walked into my kitchen and OH MY GOSH>>>>JOE COME QUICK , fire everywhere. Wasn’t a big tall blaze but  was racing all across the back part of their property and ours too. grabbed the phone and called them and then grabbed water hoses and rakes and shovels...we got itput out but was sort of scarey ...especially when it .. toward our house ...

 

We all finally heard form Janet, do you think she is proud of that baby or what? Good grief that ,baby looks like Janet don’t you all think so ?

Janet how is Megan doing? Are they staying with you ? is she doing ok? I know that had to be scary  for all of that to happen to her....hope all is ok now...

 

I guess all of you have heard Susan screaming ....gosh she is loud....calm down girl....she hasn’t stopped smiling yet...cant blame her...do we all remember when we got our DATE!!! Oh yeah I do ,,,I remember itwas so exciting. Susan at least you have Andy to help lead you thru till you get your feet under you....you will do great. And didn’t  Andy say he would go on the liquid diet with you.??? Wow what devotion. And love. ...great going Andy...

 

SUSIE::::we are really glad that your husbands test so far are all good, maybe the nodule on the lungs will turn out to be nothing too...\

I hope you aren’t stressing   out to much .your friends don’t see dust you know...they will be too busy having fun....

 

 

RENEE:::: WOW you really have been busy haven’t you?   Really sorry that you are having trouble with one of your toes....dont fool around with an infection....can get septic very quick

BEC;::::: hey 12 pounds is a great amount to be losing in a month. Girl it really is...that is 3 pounds a week....wish I could lose that much...i would be so so happy.  On the shirt try just pull over t shirt types then you can get them a little closer to your size..

 

I know what you mean about all the chores , this time of year is a busy one right?

 

Are you going to come down with Peggy when she comes down to see me....

 

That is so so sweet of you to offer your home to Susan and Andy when she has to go to doctor...thanks for being such a sweetheart.

 

 

ANDY::::: I thought they were going to give you a prescription for appetite control or something....No?

Yeah I had to laugh when Susan came over to tell me about her surgery date....she was smiling like she had just won the lottery.. im excited for her too.....AND everyone will be praying for you Susan....you know how much you are loved...

Running late this morning,going in to work, I don't mind its fifth grade today. Don't let the weather report scare you if we do get an inch the road will be clear. They are warm and the state keeps them clear . Can't wait to see everyone Saturday.No excuses

Hey Everyone,

I think Susan is still on the mountain top with getting her surgery date lol, she's so excited.  We got an email today with all her instructions for the liquid diet and appointments for next week.  Monday and Tuesday are filled with seeing the surgeon, pre-op class, excersise class and seeing the anathesiologist, gonna be busy busy busy, I had forgot how much ya gotta do, actually a couple things I didnt have to do.  She starts the liquid diet on Tuesday March 3rd already so we'll have to get prepared for that, have to get her the things she can have so it'll all go smooth which i know it will.

Jan yeah they gave me an appetite surpesent, I'll get that filled this weekend and see how it goes, Im not sure I wanna use it or not but guess its worth a try,  Im to where I really dont get all that hungry its just the dumping after, or what feels like dumping,  when I eat now im taking a bite and doing my best to wait a min or two before I take another bite so we'll see how that goes.   As long as I keep losing a lil bit each month I'll keep on doing what im doing I guess.

Well I better get out there and do my walk before it starts to rain,  y'all have a great day!!

Good morning to all.sure does look like it will rain here soon.supposed to start turning cold on friday.i promise i did not order the cold weather.lol.

this month is flying by soo fast.sunday is march first already.sunday march the 8 is the time change.we set our clock's ahead one hour.i think the time change is early this year.

jan we have enough around here to do without a fire to put out.lol.it is a good thing you saw it when you did.

i did get a lot of e mail's about my surgery.it is happing all soo fast.i am still on cloud 9.lol.4 day's and we go back to columbia.my one week check up after surgery is set for monday march 23.i think that is the day for the march meeting.andy and i will stop by to see everyone in springfield on our way home.

susie how did school go for you today?did you see on the new's where they want to make school a 4 day week instead of 5.

janet how is megan?and how is the baby doing.we know you cannot stop holding her.i would not either i love baby's.

renee how are you and larry doing and the rest of your family.is your foot better.i know a sore toe can land you in the hospital.it is no fun.

bec are you stiff and sore from all that bike riding.i would be.when i do ride a bike i want a big seat.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and check in.  This has been a busy week for me which hasn't been easy considering I am dealing with a sinus infection.  I got my list written last week of all the behaviors that I need to change to get back on track.  I have been working on them and so far so good.  The hardest one for me is not drinking before and after meals.  I had gotten real bad with that one. The good news of the week though is in the last week I have lost 3 pounds so something must be working.  I've been using FitDay to track my food intake and that is really helping since it breaks down my intake by fat, carbs and protein.  It really helps in keeping them in proportion and making sure that I get enough grams of protein.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic week and have an even better weekend, even though here in St. Louis they are predicting snow on Saturday.  Yuck!!!  I for one seriously hope it doesn't snow cause I have a date on Saturday....and that's a date date with a man.  A man who is quickly becoming very special in my life.  Take care all.....remember your protein and your vitamins.  They are essential to success and good health.
