Congrats Susan---you'll have to wear some green hair dye that day lol.  I would say paint your nails green but since nail polish is a no go during surgery I say go wild and get some spray hair gel and GO GREEN for the day!!!  Why not???  lol it's not like alot of people will see you or like you'll even care lol.  Congrats again.

  Congratulations on getting a date.  I remember the excitement I felt when I finally got a date and like you I got a date that was only 2 weeks away.  I think it helped because I was so busy with all the prep stuff I didn't have the time to get nervous. 

WOOO HOOOOO....Im so tickled for you Susan.....Im getting pretty close to my 2yr anv but I still remember all the excitement I had this close to surgery!!!! My prayers are with you....

I also have surgery on March 17th!!! Mine is with Dr. de la Torre at The University of MO in Columbia. Which hospital are you going to be at????

Jody, It is going to be a busy day.I have my surgery with Dr. D on the 17th as well at UMC. Maybe we can meet each other and become best budies. I am hoping they let my support person which is my sister who is also a CNA stay with me all the time. I know I will feel much better and at ease if they will let her. I dont anything about Dr D except that is a good doc. ONly 2 wks and counting. Yipee!! Good Luck

Just wanted to let you know that if you have a roommate .No one will be able to stay the night in the room with you.They can stay in the waiting room though.But they make them leave the room around 9 p.m Hubby couldn;t stay with me. Once my roommate went home he was allowed to stay in the room at night with me.Just wanted to let ya know,
