Update on Gail
Just got home.Whew what a long day.Well they did the cath and one of the new graphs they did in 07 is shot.It is completely gone and there is nothing they can do for it.Plus the one that was to far gone to be fixed when they did his bypass.So that is 2 gone.They said the other 2 they grafted.The 2 main ones are still uncloggged and his heart is pumping good.But stressed how very important it is to keep those 2 unclogged,If they clog there is nothing can be done and it will kill him.So first I gotta get him to stop smoking,I am going to go cold turkey and stop so it will be easier for him,Things may get a little nasty around here for awhile,But would rather deal with attitude than have to bury him.Plus I need to start cooking heart healthy meals for him.So if any of you have good recipes or advice on how and what to fix him .I am open for suggestions.He is my life and I will do anything it takes to make sure he stays with me for along time to come.

Sending Hugs your way Deb....Im so glad to hear that the test went good...even though your going to have to change a few things for the future well being. You have had to change a lot for your well being and have a had a few bumps along the way....but I have faith that you and Gail will suceed in this journey as well....Search the web on heart healthy cooking...I have come across several in the past months....

I'm sorry to the graphs were gone and so glad the main ones are still in tact!
It is so hard to let go of the things we like... but will be praying you both are successful!
Also that you will be able to adapt to the new way of eating.... boy it's so hard but sure can be done... I keep thinking and have it on my fridge the words Peggy wrote not to long ago...

Why can't we be defeated? Because we have some ONE higher than ourselves to call upon! That just excites me!!!

i will be praying for all you are going thru and will pray that Gail know how much is at stake if he doesnt quit smoking and start eating right...and exercise, just walking is very good for a heart patient, there is your new walking partner...he needs to build his stamina, ...

Thank you for your prayers,Yes he is willing to stop.He knows he has to.I already pulled the trump card of doing it for Nikki LOL.We have picked a day to stop. Sat is his birthday so we picked that day.It will be the first day of a whole new life .So thought that would be a god day.
He has agreed to be my walking partner soon as his leg is up to it.It is really hurting him today.Didn't do that last time.But then again the old fool drove home last night too.Men are such spoiled babies LOL.And he is very stubborn,But most men are.

Everybody has given you such good advice and words of encouragement. Look how much you are loved....and you ARE loved. When he fusses about the changes that need to be made (and he is a man...he WILL complain) remind him that Nikki needs her daddy. If not for himself, then maybe for her.
