Were home from State.....And we have a Medal!!!!!!!!
I'm home from State.....And I have a Medalist in the family......DS placed 6th in State Wrestling this past weekend!!!!!!! Not to shabby for a 190lb'er who wrestles them 275'ers....!!! I'm have never been so excited and nervous in my life!!!! Warrensburg boys did an awsome job this weekend!!! We ended up with 2 sixth place, 1 fifth place, 1 third place and a undefeted State Champion!! We took 8 boys all together and placed 6!!!! Not bad for a little bodock town!!! lol
As for us parents....we are all glad to see the season end...it has been a very long and tiring one to say the least....but it was well worth it to see the smiles on the medalist....that is if you could make out there faces with all the bruses that they ended up with...lol DS has 2 black eyes and a cut on the side of his nose....lol The best part of the weekend was the hugs and kisses that I got from the boys....they were just soooo happy to place!!
Anyway...just wanted to let you all know that Im back....I had a bit of a rough time with the eatting part but got through it...Its tough to eat healthy when your in a arena that wont let you bring even a water in!! But thats ok....snuk some cheese and meat in in the bottom of my purse...lol and they even check our bags....lol
