I am 3 years post op and used to be a regular poster here on the MO board. I have lost about 175 lbs since surgery but have not lost anything for about a year. This is because I let myself get away from the good habits I had developed. I am rededicating myself to this journey. I still have about 200 lbs to lose (I started at about 575 lbs). You will be seeing more of me around here so I wanted to say hello and reintroduce myself.

Hello...and welcome!

Good for you for deciding to get back on track and use your tool.  It is tough when you are as far out as we are...but we can hold each other accountable.  One piece of advice...keep track of your food intake, water & protein and exercise.  Then if you don't see any progress after a month or so, then make an appointment with your surgeon.  Sometimes other issues crop up that need to be addressed.  Never be embarassed to go back.  I had my thyroid removed at 2 years out and have been stalled ever since.  When they adjust my meds, I lose a little and then hold steady until they adjust them again.  So don't hesitate to go back and get a workup to make sure everything is working!

Glad to see you and hope to see more of you in the future!

It's nice to meet you!  I'm more of a lurker here than a regular poster but I find everyone's stories inspiring.

Perhaps we all do our journey in stages of one form or another.  I'm glad you're back and you're reading to rededicate yourself to your health.
