It has been a couple of months since i posted anything on the site. But now i'm her because i need help getting back on track again.  Since Xmas i have strayed so much off the path that it scares me about my future.  I know that i cant measure my success by the success of others, but i know that i should have lost more weight by time.  Dont get me wrong i know what the problem is.  I'm just having a problem correcting the problem. I graze so much during the day i get angry with myself, but i feel i can't control it.  I have a new boyfriend so we are eating out alot. Though he has agree to stop all together if it would help me.
I'm hoping to find a support group or a partner that i can call when im feeling out of control.  My family and friends don't seem to understand my struggle. Please help!!!!!!

Welcome back.  I know its a struggle, everyday I see people eating things that I used to enjoy and I know I can't have anymore.  I just feel sooooo much better not eating the things that are considered bad.  Maybe you and your new boyfriend could start enjoying cooking together at home.  Make healthy meals that you can eat that he will enjoy as well. Its fun, your spending time together and you will be suprised the healthy recipes you can eat.  I know my husband has lost 35 lbs since my surgery and its all because of the different choices that I make for the entire family.  You can do this girl.  You didn't go threw all of this for nothing.  Hang in there, look at everyday one day at a time.  Just make it one day at a time.  Best of luck and I'll be thinking of you.  Lou =)

Hello. What is so wonderful about this surgery is that its a tool to lose weight. If you feel that you are wondering off track just start over. Make sure you get your protein in like nana said. You can follow your booklet given to you before surgery. Get plenty of excerise. Also you can call your nutrionist at anytime. They are also glad to help you. God Bless...Craig

When I've strayed off track its usually cuz I am eating carbs.  When that happens with me and I want to get back on track I do the 5 day pouch test, it really works and helps me get myself back off track, it helps get off those nasty carbs that we are so addicted too.  Here's the link.  Hope this helps.

Thanks Andrew for posting the 5-day Pouch test link again, I'd forgotten about that and REALLY need something to follow to get back on track.
