Howdy ya'll.....glass class was not what I expected but I learned alot.  I go back tomorrow to pick up 2 of my projects that we fused today and to learn another project.  I can't wait to fire up my own kiln and figure out it's unique characteristics.  Melting glass is fun and it's WARM!!!!

Outta bed....coffee

Didn't get a chance to eat until 2 pm....3 oz cheese and protein bar

Snacks..clementine, cookie, peanut butter/crackers

Dinner....banana nut protein souffle'

That should do it for tonight.  Water is right on track and so are the vits.  Ran up and down her stairs a few times and petted her dogs, too.  Does petting pups count as exercise?  Prolly not.

How did you all do today?  Have a good one?  Post away.

Hi ya Jan...

Anymore I just love the souffle's....if I take my time eating them.  I'm not real fond of them the next day but they do heat up in the microwave.  The texture is a little more solid.  To tell you the truth, I just cut the recipe in half and only make one big one or two little ones.  That way I don't have much, if any, leftover.

I might have to try the snap peas....love something crunchy.  I've heard good things about edamame, too but haven't remembered to look for it.  I usually just eat the same things over and over.

Have a good day!

Hey missy...

I think we were ALL lecturing you on this thread!  But I am so glad you saw the light and are managing to get so much protein down.  I really think you were headed down a bad road.  And I think maybe you see that, too.

Yay for you and keep working on tha****er (sigh....never ends, does it?)

Love ya!

Morn'n Mizzz Peggy...

Two Protein Shakes

2/3 of huge chicken breast and 2 oz of cheese....

Water and vits on track and walked when I got back from trip with my sis...

Boyee was that wind chilly!  Brr Brr Brr.... not sure what it is like today... but can see the flags are blowing strongly....

Tell me exactly what glass fusing is?  What did you make?  What colors?

You are too funny... if petting pups counts I should be "wasted away to practically nothing!!!" as said by the fat octopus Ursla on Disney's Little Mermaid ~tee hee  If you ever get that to work for you you will just have to tell the secret of it!!! ~tee hee  You could market that procedure and be a wealthy woman!!!

I have never made the protein souffles but have been going to try them for simply the longest time... going to get that done right away... I don't have any bananas but will get some next time I go to the store... do you know I seen some artificial bananas in the bunch about 5/6 hooked together in Hobby Lobby yesterday and you are not going to believe what they wanted for them?  $25 dollars.... my eye balls nearly popped out of my head!!! I don't think so! It would have to be a pretty special reason for me to plunk down $25 bucks for a piece of plastic like that! ~ha

Well better get to the scripture reading and head on out for my walk... I'm going to get a pair of those Dr. Shoal's Jellin's... have you used those?... my feet have been bothering me for the past couple of weeks... maybe those will help... also going to try my old faithful tennis shoes back and see if that helps... if so I will have to put some shoe glue on the soles and try to get more use out of them.  Don't know if it is these new ones or not but something is aggravating the bottom of my foot right behind my toes that big flat part... ugh... a toe is sore to but not bruised or anything... guess I torture my feet and they are not happy about it! ~ha

You go on and have yourself a good ole day dear friend... Do you realize your visit is only a week away?

That's incredibly exciting to me!

HELLOOOOOO!!!!  And good morning to you!

Glass fusing is melting glass and creating new piece.  Sometimes it's melted into a shape as a bowl or plate (called slumping) or sometimes it just melts several layers into one piece.  Such as a pendant.    You have to use the same type of glass and it comes in so many colors.  I made a slumped dish with different types of purple glass and a tile made with brown glass and copper foil and topped with clear glass.  I'm excited to see them!

$25??????   They had better sing and dance and wear frilly underpants for that price!!!!  That's crazy.

I've heard pretty good things about the Jellins but I've never tried them.  Let us know how they work.

Well, I have got to get showered and get outta here....the pups are expecting me!  Have a great rest of the day and ONE MORE WEEK!!!!

I think any kind of movement is considered exercise LOL.So petting the pups should qualify in my book LOL.But don't think it is good weightloss material.I'm like Bec if it was i would be skinny mini with all the pets we have LOL.But i am sure puppies enjoyed your lovein.
Hope you have a wonderful day.

Hey you!

Thanks so much for the Maxine Tummy Tuck....except that is EXACTLY how I "tuck" mine....ewwww.

Looks like you had a great day!  I'm so happy for you and you bet I will be praying for you and Gail today.  Men sure do make us old before our time.  Mine came home complaining of upper chest pressure last night.  No pain, just pressure.  So I watched him very closely.  His bp is a little high and I'm worried.  But he took a stress test a few years ago and was fine but I still worry.  So trust me, I understand (sorta) how you're feeling.

Love you girl.
