WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Well with Andys help we got a lot of the mess cleaned up today. Only one more big pile of logs to haul over to the pile for Joe to bust up....we are getting quite a pile of wood to use for barbques and fire pit fires we decided yesterday that we are going to go ahead and when we go to Springfield for the meeting we will go early and maybe go to the brick company and see about fire bricks..im going to call them tomorrow and see how much they are apiece....may have to go on Craigs list and see if anyone has any.  Regular bricks wont work they just break during a lot of fire.

 

Looks like the weather is going to change quite a bit ...darn.

Was hoping that my seeds would come today from Parks seeds but didn’t  get them yet. Oh well hopefully they will be here in a couple of days....want to get them planted so we can get them up and going ...

 

Im so anxious to get to planting something...anything ...will look in my own seeds tomorrow and see what I can plant lol ....

 

Need to run to town tomorrow to get my meds from the pharmacy...im completely out. Of my pain pills and I sure need them since we came back from AZ...

SUSAN:::::::love the look you all are doing to the inside of the house....it looks really good..cant wait  to see what your living room will look like with your curtains when you get them up...I cant wait till you get to see the doctor in Columbia....i hope you get your date when you are there ...i know you will be walking on air...

 

 

 

BEC::::::wow girl you are picking them up and putting them down aren’t you? When I was about your age I use to walk all the time and use to do 5 miles in 57 mins. I started doing it to lose weight because I was fat at that time and lost 110 pounds. Doing just that and watching what I ate. .i bet your heart rate is getting up , keep up the good work. You will be ready to run a 10K before long. Lol wouldn’t that be fun...

I still haven’t been able to get hold of Jeanine....im worried about her sure hope she remembers to come to the support meeting on Monday.

 

 

PEGGY::::::lol well I see by another post that you never got the nerve to go to the farm today lol.

It will all get done and if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I know how you all feel about going thru all the boxes ...it is something that just has to be done, you never know what will be put with things that are of no use ...

I have wondered about that with Megan too. why are they not just inducing labor. Most of the time when labor is induced it winds up being a C-section tho so don’t know ...the only ones I know that they schedule a c section for is women that have had other c sections and have a reason for it. ...

 

 

RENEE:::::so proud of you and getting below 200...I remember when I went below 200 I screamed so loud that I woke Joe up and he come running to see what was wrong lol

So glad that you are going to have some happy times with your kids before they leave...I hope that Kala will come with you to the meeting too . we would all love to tell her goodby too...

Bone spurs on the knees ? yep on my right one that I had replaced had 3 bonespurs on it. before I had surgery I had the  rooster shots done in it but that was for the arthritis not the bone spurs...I don’t  maybe they can give you a steroid shot in your knee that might give you some relief ...i know what  pain in the knee is....i have got to get my left one done but just hate to do it. I know how badly the right one hurt and is just now really getting well. Of course it doesn’t hurt like the arthritis does that is for sure.

 

Well going to get this online since it looks like we are going to get some thunderstorms here in a minute  or two...i hear it thundering.

Good morning everyone.did anybody else get rain besides' us here in cedar creek.jan i heard the thunder too.saw some lighting also.that is why i waited to get on the computer.sure hope we dont get any more.mecko ran into the bedroom to hide under the bed and chrissy went under the blanket in their dog bed.

jan the vine you gave me is starting to grow a little.i know it will take time.did you ever get any seed's planted yesterday.i will be walking on air when i get a surgery date.you might even hear me shout all the way from columbia.lol


renee how did your christmas dinner go for you?better late than never.

janet how is megan doing?i know we will hear you when that sweet baby does come.

peggy i lived on a farm for year's when i was a kid.when ever i went into a barn i had to have someone with me.i was a really big chicken.lol.

bec you sure are walking a lot.maybe you should plant some carrot's so you will have enough for your horses.lol.even a apple tree.they love apples.we know that person that said how good you look made you happy.you are doing soo good.

I had to tell them no today because I am waiting on the carpet installers to get here. Once they are done I can start  moving stuff in the room. DH already has on ceiling fan installed and it won't take him long to put the other one up. I do not know how we will move some of the big stuff. We may have to have some help. Its looking good. The same drywall guy that did the house originally finished the room so it matches the rest of the house perfectly. I know DH is hoping I put all my stuff in there and get it out of his sight.

For bone spurs in the knee you can have arthroscopic surgery to grind them down. It will stop them from damaging the cartilage. It is not a bad surgery and can really help for spurs but not for regular old arthritis.

I have a lot to accomplish today because I am working Thursday and Friday. Oh the joys of working. At least I will be able to buy some new clothes. I bought some 13's on new years day that there was no way I could wear and they are comfortable . I guess I better buy some 12's. I feel so fat still and the scalee barely moves but I am wearing smaller clothes. I do still have some stuff from before surgery that I can still wear. That baffles me. I do not understand how they still look OK. I must have looked melted and pored into them before. Its only tops not the bottoms but still after fifty pounds ? I guess that is part of why I still feel fat.

Good Morning Aunt Jan and OH Peeps-

Hi there! How are all of you doing this Wednesday morning? I hope this post finds you all doing well.  I have been doing my very best to try and keep up with the posts, I may not get a chance to post myself-but I try to get in and read about you guys-I havent even been able to do that the past 2-3 days, since the last post I did, I believe!

Believe it or not, I am doing my best to keep a smile on my face and go with the flow. I really am-I think I have been too busy and all to even get 10 minutes to think hard about anything and get down about it! Its crazy, seriously crazy!

Yesterday Mike had his appt with his shoulder doc! ARGH.....  they did xrays on him and he told Mike that what he "needed" to see wouldnt show up on the xrays (then WHY did we do them and cost us more money?) and that he would have to order an MRI....but as he was reading through Mikes chart-he then informed us-that just like before-he has way too much scar tissue to even get an accurate reading on an MRI....so guess what? They have put Mike on massive steroids and something else-for anti inflammatory-never heard of it before-macrid or something like that. They said that it SHOULD help with the pain too-and then when he is done with the steroids and all that-he will have surgery.  His left side, when looking straight on at him, looks as though it has fallen-it is much lower than the right side!  So-he goes back for surgery, they are going to go in exploratory to begin with and fix him up after he gets in there and finds out whats going on and whats broken. He thinks its rotator cuff and anchors-but also talked alot about the bicep- so who knows. When Mike does it-he does it good. None of that half way anything!!!!

Ok-and NO BABY YET EITHER..... While Mike and I were at his appt-Megan and Aaron came to watch Jon-they wanted to be there for Mike, but I told Aaron, Mike does NOT like the attention and I didnt think it would be a good idea-and then it hit me-I would ask the kids to watch Jon, just in case they wouldnt let a small child go back with us and I was definitely going back because Mike tends to sugar coat things-Im not sure WHY he has such a problem telling the docs how bad it hurts and all that. I dont. I told them everything that he "forgot".  By the time we were done in there-Mike looked like he had been beaten up-and we still had to stop and get his prescriptions...... When we came out of the office-Aaron was freaking out and calling and waving me outside....I peeked my head out and I would be out as soon as I found the restroom.  Get out there and Megan says that she thinks either her water has broken OR she lost her mucuos plug. Within a minute-we determined that it was not her water,,,,   Well, she calls the dr ofc and her OB tells her to come in. She goes in and gets examined and there is NO CHANGE, there is nothing. The OB tells Megan that is she was in Vegas-she would lay ALL of her money on the bet thaat Megan will be having a c-section Friday morning.  So-looks like Friday, my baby will be having her first. I am numb over it. I really wanted to see Mackenzie enter this world. I have been looking forward to that since I found out she was pregnant!  Im still not ready-house wise.  Guess we will just have to go with the flow and it will all get done.  Aaron is changing hours at work, he is going on overnights-which will be okay-because they are getting a place with my mother-so Megan will not be alone-and my mom is a night owl, so if Megan needs help or advice with Mackenzie-mom will be right there. I already have her little dress she is wearing home from the hospital and I gave Megan an option between these cute little shoes that match the dress and really fancy-OR these frilly little socks and hairband-pink and white ruffles-I showed them to her and told het to choose so that I knew she would like-so I do have to go get the socks and hair band. I also have a little bag-I got it ready in case Megan had labor....with cards, lotion, socks, notebook, and all that misc stuff.....Im still bringing it up-but Im going to add a couple of magazines to it.

Oh, my mom has now decided that she wants to look into going to Jamaica Or Cancun....all inclusive-and you can get those packages dirt cheap as well, right now.  So-I have been trying so hard to look into these places without a printer and with 100 interruptions every time I try-LOL......I figure in the next couple of weeks I will get something going. We are at least going to get our pass ports ordered .....  takes 3 weeks, so we want to get that out of the way ASAP...

Well, before I close-I would really appreciate it if you would all say prayers for my family.  For Megan and baby-that the surgery is safe and successful-and recovery will be quick and uneventful. That the surgeon is guided by God.....her hands and her staff as well.  For Aaron to have strength and peace of mind-I do not think he has an inkling on what or how his life is about to change! I think its going to blow him away! He is going to need strength though, helping to deal with Megan. She has been kinda cranky and I told him to hang in there! It happens to every pregnant woman once in awhile-I mean, come on-she is so uncomfortable and the end of the pregnancy to me-was like the first 8 months all rolled into the last one!!!  So, I think she is doing great-but then I dont live with her.......

Mikes boss hurt his back-he cannot even move right now-so he has been out so far all week-they get his test results they said-but he has had disc problems before and said that this feels the same. So he is out-and Mike only has one arm he can use-and then the only other worker is pretty lazy....now- Mikes boss;s daughter, Rachel-her and Megan due dates are within days of each other-she has been having double over pains too!  Told Mike they will end up shutting the office down-there wont be anybody to work!  I better get now-gotta do some school work with the little man.
