Wanted to Say HI

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.  My name is Dee and I used to be on here all the time after my surgery.  I kinda wondered away but have found my way back and hope to be here a little more often.  I used to get a lot of support from the great people here, as well as try to give it when I could, and am hoping that things haven't changed.  It's hard to believe but I am almost 3 years out from surgery.  I keep trying to change my avatar to a more recent pic but for some reason it just isn't working.  I even completely deleted my old avatar and then uploaded the new pic.  On my avatar tab of my account it shows the new pic that I uploaded but my old avatar is what is showing everywhere else.  It's driving me a little batty I must admit.  I do have two recent pics on my profile page if anyone would like to take a peek.  I look forward to getting to know everyone!!!!  Have a great Wednesday.

Hi, since your 3 years out, do you mind a few questions???  i'd like to know how much you've lost........when you really had to start working at it (when did it stop "falling off" lol........have you regained any??? how much ??? sorry to introduce myself by barging in with the personal questions, i'm having some issues, I seem to hacve stalled for almost a month now and am only 10 mo's out now.  Sorry I don't know how to change the avatar, when I had trouble with it , it was because the pic I was trying to upload was to big, I had to crop it to a smaller size. Welcome back Dee.

Sorry it took me so long to respond but I don't always get a chance to be online for very long.  Thankfully, the avatar I wanted to show up appears to be showing now.

Susy, I have no problem answering questions anytime hon.  As for when I really had to start working at it, I would say it was right before my one year anniversary.  The first 4 month, I lost 100 pounds and then managed to lose the next 100 over the next 8 months.  But then it really got hard.  I have regained some recently and that is part of why I am back here.  I have gained about 50 pounds over the last 6 months and I refuse to go back to where I was.  So that's why I'm here.  I know I got wonderful support when I was initially losing and thought I would get it again.  I have also started back with a local support group and am hoping that the two combined will give me the boost I need to get back on track.  My goal for this week is to make a list of all the behaviors I need to change.  I'm hoping that the list isn't too overwhelming but then again I can't change what I don't acknowledge.  Of course I will only work on one or two of the behaviors at a time otherwise I am definantly setting myself up for failure.

I'd like to thank everyone for the warm welcome back!!! Have a fantastic weekend.
