WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY
Talk about the Lord leading you to make a call , or making it for you. Lol I was trying to get different number entirely was an 800 number for this company and it wouldn’t go thru, so I hung up and about 3 mins later Tammy-ammy called me lol wanted to know if there was something wrong...i ask her why and she said your called me twice and hung up without leaving a message lol i told her I hadn’t called her but had been thinking about her this morning so it must have been God dialing lol.
She is doing better infection is gone in her leg I think , they still have elect only by a big generator that the town has...and internet hasn’t been on, was but then went off again. she said to tell everyone hi and as soon as she has internet she will get on line...
Well since I got hold of Tammy-ammy I thought that I would try to get hold of Jeanine...but no luck with that..will try again tomorrow hopefully...has anyone else heard from her at all? I don’t know what is going on with her.
Well most of the limbs are cut up and burnt...we have two more piles in the back area that still need to be burned but that is all. Then we have all the wood that we have cut up to pick up and put in the wood pile...we are putting it back by where we are going to put in a fire pit /barbeque;....we have this huge big steel grate that we are going to make the top of the pit...it is about 5 ft by 3 ft and that is going to be the size of the barbeque. Will be big enough to cook out for a huge huge group if we ever need it...it will have a chimney and sides on it so now all we have to do is build it...lol
Today was a beautiful day but the way they are talking today will be our last one for awhile, im thinking we came back way too soon...
I hope all of you that live close that we are having our COF support meeting this next Monday night...the 23rd so hope to see all of you then....

You sure are deicated about the walking aren’t you? I thnk you are doing a lot of strength things to lose more weight faster you might see if you can do something cardio. Don’t really know what but you do need some sort of cardio...but don’t think im getting on to you in no way...and this is from someone that hates most exercise...i have a Zumba tape that my sister gave me. I love that....dancing to latin music. Really doing latin music and the dancing is really exercise moves ....
By the time we see you this summer you will be way below 200 I bet.

DH got my new room painted last night. They should hang the doors and trim today and tomorrow the carpet comes and then I can start filling it up.

Good morning to all.supposed to be warm today.but i think that will be it for a while.only in the 30's by thursday.i think we should just skip spring and go right into summer.lol.jan the fitness center near skagg's does not do the program with the medcare card.i am still looking for a place for all of us.
andy got my shelf up in the kitchen right above the sink.he painted it the same as my cabinet's.i have the vases on there jan that you gave to us.make's the kitchen look even brighter.
andy is getting ready to put the trim around our window's in the front room.then i can put curtin's up.the houses is starting to look even better.just take's a little work and time.i love to make new thing's so i know i will have lot's of fun.

debbie we are praying for your hubby to find a job.we know god has a plan for you and your family.he will see you through it all.andy and i go to columbia 1 week from today.we are praying to get my surgery date that day.i have a doctor's app this thursday.with the head doctor.that should be all the app i need before i get my surgery date.i know i willl have pre op and i think they will want me to go to a excerise class that they give to make sure i know what to do after surgery.i can hardley wait.it will be worth it all.
please be praying for me on thursday.the first head doctor i went to columbia would not accept his report.he was a social worker also and they want just a plain head doctor.i had app to see one before this but the bad weather came twice now and i could not go because of the road's and the other time the doctor could not make it to his office.

Boy did I get some work done yesterday... am going to go to the "upper room" today (storage) and get down some Spring things while it is warm... that's always a lot of trips up and down the stairs...
Mimi ~ I have stepped up the pace my walking the past few days and am getting the 4+ miles in a little more then an hour... it's getting my heart rate up much more... I have tried doing some other types of exercise but it makes my back hurt so bad... that's why I've stuck to the walking and weights in upper body... does anyone out there have any suggestions for cardio that I might be able to tolerate with the back situation? I'm sure willing to try anything.
Mimi dear lady you can tell me what ever you think any time you need too... I don't think "you are getting on to me" at all.
I would love to dance! But I would sure have to do it in the privacy of my own home as not to make any one ill! ~tee hee

Well it's that time of morning again and time to get out there and pound the pavement or dirt road in this case. The horses will be waiting for their carrots.

I am trying so hard to get psyched up to go to the farm....
But all I can think is that ol' George's family is waiting for me to get there. And I'm sure they're all standing in a mob....waiting....just waiting. Probably have little knives and guns....I am such a wuss! And there is still so much that has to be done...going thru all those boxes, sorting stuff to sell, keep and throw. Then bringing the boxes (from her actual house and garage) to the farm to sort it and price it for the sale. Then to have the sale which requires renting a tent and portapotty. And did I mention that everything (even from her house) is filthy? I mean over ten years of dirt and mouse stuff. (The stuff in the farmhouse has dirt from before the fire...so 20 years of dirt) She was a horrible pack rat and worse about cleaning. Every time we start on her stuff I realize I need to clean out my basement. I refuse to do this to my kids. Then after this is done, we need to work on the farm land. It's been neglected for over 20 years. So there is junk everywhere and it's overgrown. I imagine we will get it looking decent and then we'll die. Just in time for our kids to sell it! haha
Other than my whining, I really should go today because it looks like the weather is changing again. And he wants to go Saturday when it's going to be so cold. Tomorrow is my glass class and I'll have a half day class on Thursday. Kind of a treat. Something just for me. And I need it.
I keep jumping on here to see if we have a baby yet....I know everybody is just as antsy as I am. My question is....won't they try to induce Megan 1st? Or is common to just schedule a c-section before inducing labor? I don't know anymore. Just curious why they won't try to induce labor first. I probably missed the reason so if anybody knows, remind me.

This is one of those busy busy weeks. Just when I think I'm doing good and caught up on everything I turn around and there's 50 million more things to do.
We are having Kala and Lee's baby shower/ going away party Saturday. So after we get done at Tiff's doctor today we are going to finish up the shopping for that. I think I'm just going to order the cake instead of making one, I just don't have time to make a nice one.
Sunday we are having our Christmas (how sad is that) and a huge family dinner. Larry and I will be going Christmas shopping tomorrow and then Thur. Fran, Tiff and I are going shopping for the dinner. Would anyone like to trade feet with me until this is over with? LOL J/K I wouldn't do that to any of you sweet people.
I've been wondering if any of you have had bone spur's on your knee, and if you would mind sharing what you done about them? I've been to a couple doctor's for it (before surgery), and all I got was "you need to lose the weight". So far I've lost 86# and the pain is getting worse. I go to a knee doctor next Thursday and hopefully he can give me some relief from it, and we can get the problem taken care of.
I'm really getting tired of all the surgeries and recovery time, but getting excited over the thought of not having to take pain pills and being able to live a normal healthy life. Wouldn't that be sweet?
Jan it sounds like you have been going none stop since you have got home, don't over do it. I'm going to do my best to make it to the meeting Monday, it's all going to depend on how I'm feeling after this busy week. I'm really hoping Kala will bring me up so she can tell everyone bye.
Susan what do you have left to do for your surgery? Do you have a date yet?
I'm still having some pain in my toes, I'm sure it would help if I didn't bump them on everything (I'm not use to not wearing my house shoe's), and being off balance sure doesn't help matters either. The bottom of my right foot isn't giving me much trouble at all. I go next Friday and get all the stitches out, I have 5 on the bottom of my foot 4 around each of my big toe and then I'm not sure how many at the quick of my toes. I hate the idea of having them removed at the quick, but it's got to be done.
Larry is doing good and has been extra sweet to me since surgery. He's even been opening and closing car doors LOL I about flipped the first time he did it. As you can tell I'm not use to this kind of treatment. LOL
Meg I hope you are feeling OK today. Just think it wont be long until your fighting Nana to hold that sweet angel. LOL

I'm not sure but I think Larry and I maybe coming to Joplin tomorrow, he's wanting to look for some more paint for his model's and I want to do some shopping for our little mama's.
