mineral pot?

I guess I qualify as a city girl but from a small city.( before coming to Mo) I have no idea what a mineral pot is. I am trying to learn about gardening from all the experience on this board . I am a southern girl and  like Scarlet I can get by but I should know about this kind of stuff . I have learned not to plant anything outside here until after mothers day. If you do the frost will surprise you one morning.

lol are you talking about the mineral tubs that Bec was talking about?  if so they are big tubs that cattlemen get mineral/molasses in for their cattle....they are great for planting flowers in above the ground....

thats it, I thought I needed to buy something for planting,like additives or something. Thanks.
