WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY
Our snow didn’t last very long , which is good. We went to Micheles yesterday and when we got home all the snow was gone. It spit snow all day but never any of it stuck anywhere else that I saw, except here at our house...
We stopped at Lowes on the way home and got the rest of the underlayment for the guest house floors....i am sort of tired of working on that thing lol ...Seems we just do it by pieces..when I start something I want to fly in and get it done...i am thinking about going and getting some cheap carpet for the bedrooms ...we can lay it down and be done with it. and it does make the floors warmer. Just not a big fan of carpet.... but it might not be so bad over there , with not daily use on it... anyway...will decide later.
I have tiny little tomatoes setting on the big tomatoe plant I have growing in the green house....that is neat....will have tomatoes early lol. Don’t even know what kind it is , it came up by itself out of the composted dirt I have out in the compost pile....i got dirt from there in a pot and used it for something else and the tomatoe plant came up on its own lol
Love those surprises in gardening.
Well should get my big box of seeds this week from Park....and can get them planted.
I forgot what all I ordered or yesterday at Lowes I would have bought more. Started to buy this one package anyway because I know I don’t have them ,,,,Giant Pumpkin seeds
Was only 8 seeds per package and 2.00 lol said they have the ability to get 500 pounds lol wouldn’t that be fun? But you can raise big pumpkins from about any seed you just have to do all the right things. Take off all but one pumpkin from the plant...and keep the conditions just right for it...
I got a phone call yesterday that was a blast from the past...dont have any idea how she got hold of me....a girl I was friends with back in the 60s. that we had lost touch with years ago. She moved , I moved. Lost addresses, life etc...We knew each other when I lived in
I guess a lot of us haven’t but it always seems worse when you get the short condensed version all in a nut shell.
Guess that is about all I know this morning. Lol

You may think you still have lots of padding but the fat is breaking down and isn’t congealed together nice and hard and packed like it was... and so the but bones poke thru.

Isn’t the down sizing neat? You change sizes so fast that you can almost buy a new outfit a week and get rid of the other ones. Remember your fellow loses right behind you in sizes as they can probably use your old sizes...
The hair problem probably started by about the first week and just really wasn’t noticed until later....most people don’t lose that much , the ones that were really sick and had lots of problems getting down protein are the ones that it affects the most...
Like my sissy , Sugar, she was so sick the first 2 months that she almost went bald but has gotten it all back now...
I agree I said before I ever had surgery oh well if I go bald ill just get a wig. Or just shine it up and wear lots of makeup and jewelry lol \
Meggie:::::: no baby yet???? My grandma use to say don’t worry about it when the apple is ripe it will fall lol ...take it easy and rest all you can cause afterwards you might not have a chance to. Lol ....just be sure and relax with the baby cause the more relaxed you are the more relaxed the baby will be.....
Take care of yourself , get some saline solution nasal spray to use to help break up the nasal stuff.

BEC:::::: yes I have the picture of you up on the door of my computer desk....that is really a pretty picture of you. Then you have lost what 100 pounds now? That is really great...you will get to your goal , you are to determined ...so keep on keeping on. You will fit into that wedding dress soon...yeah know what you mean by everything going south...if they much souther will have to use a shovel lol
Oh wow I wish I knew someone that had lots of mineral buckets...those make fantastic planters. I have two of them....and wish I had many many more....i have some really big flowers in mine that I couldn’t find out if they were winter hardy here or not. Glad I didn’t trust it because of the ice we had this year.l...

So sorry to hear about Mike and his shoulder....and another impending surgery. What are they going to do to keep that from messing up again....??? is the bones just too weak , is it tearing out or what? What?
Sweetie don’t be getting all disappointed about Megan and a C-section...you will get to be with your precious granddaughter right away so don’t be too upset. It happens and some times cant be helped ...ok...better than her being so far away that you cant even be with her when she has the surgery isn’t it? always look on the bright side and you can always find something to be thankful for.
Be sure and let us know what all is going on. Did you get started on the medicine for your osteoporosis yet? Is that what is causing the weight gain? That isn’t a normal reaction is it? just know that all of us love you dearly and really miss you when you don’t get on here. I worry too about you ....wish I could help some how. Love you girl...

I hope everyone enjoys the presidents day holiday,gotta run.
Mimi ~ I sure wish I have lost 100 lbs... no the most I have ever lost at one time is 83 lbs and I am approaching that here real soon again... I hope.... I've never lost 100 lbs before that will be new ground for sure! The least I can remember weighing in any half way recent time is 234 and that's the pic you have of me in the botanical gardens and that was about 5~6 years ago... I am back into all the clothes I was wearing at that time... then I gained it all back... that's when I really started researching WLS.
Maybe I will be at 100 lbs by the time you come up for your annual appt? I can only hope as slow as I lose it seems... although the wrinkles under my chin...~ha Why can't it come off my butt!?!?! ~ha or better yet this gutt?!?!? Enough of that!
As of today... I have exercised every day for 119 days straight without missing a single day. I stared REALLY counting on October 22nd when I was walking 3.3 miles a day... am up to 4.5 miles every day and many days more than that and weights as well, but I have not been as faithful with those as I have been with the walking, I'm getting better about them though. I've only missed two days walking since surgery on Sept. 22nd. I'm on a roll and am hoping to make it a full year without missing a day... don't know if that will happen but it will be fun to see how far I get before I have to break this marathon I'm on.... ~ha I sure am thankful to the Lord for the determination I have had... I know me and I know it's coming straight from Him!!! I'm blessed in that for sure!
I am going to be giving my house a good cleaning this week...and will go with my sis to a Dr. appt on Wednesday and then cleaning out the shed with Paul on Thursday if it is as nice as they say it will be... a full week I guess...
Paul said, "you did yourself proud" on the Valentines dinner... so I guess I did good! ~ha I sure don't want to make that meal very often! It took way too much time... and then I just set there and ate only a bite or two... bu****ched Paul enjoy every bite. I took a plate of "goodies" over to the neighbor... it just seemed a shame to make all that and someone else not enjoy it? I was practicing with my tips and icing bag... It was pretty but I need more practice that's for sure. I will send the rest with Paul in his lunch...
There sure is a lot of protein value in the chicken cor don blue though... with the chicken, ham and cheese... I used provolone cheese... I really like that cheese it is so mellow. I'm going to get some more for awhile in place of the cheese sticks I eat.
Yea... about the mineral buckets making good planters I'm going to put one on each point of the octagon on the patio this year... don't know for sure what I will put in them but it should be fun... I want at least four of them to be real nice full baskets... what would grow good and be real bushy on that side of the house? Then I want to put tomatoes in some of them... may put some down by the entry way too... oh heck I don't know.... I got 13 of them yesterday... I'm going to make a cheese cake and take to him... he said he had some more up by his house I could have as well.
But for now I have to get to this dusty ole house... it's driving me crazy...

Good morning everyone! The kids are home from school today and I'm off work so it's looking like movie day. We had the BEST day yesterday. We took my parents to Hinode along with the kids. Hinode is a Japanese steak place where they cook the food in front of you. My dad had never been, my mom said he's been talking about it since he left. They do have GREAT food and its fun. It was a great lunch. Then Frank, Jade and I hit Branson landing. We had never been and man was it fun! We had the best day. We got home about 8 last night and my feet were killing me. They were practially giving things away with the end of season clearance. Frank bought me a new purse for our anniversary. I love that he recognizes my fettish with purses and doesn't complain. Jan, I have been giving my clothes to my cousin. She has 4 kids under 8 and doesn't get to buy for herself. I sent her home with about 10 pairs of jeans, shoes, coats shirts, she was thrilled. I didn't realize that we would go down shoe sizes too! I'm gone from a 9.5-10 to and 8? WHAT? that's weird. I've hit my first stall. =( I've been the same weight all week. I will go up and down a few ounces but that's it. I know I need to get in more water so I'm going to work on that today. Good morning to all.here it is monday morning again.the weekend fly's by soo fast.how did sweetheart day go for everyone.jan sound's like you and joe had a good evening dancing.i wanted the snow to stay away for you jan but it did not want to.it said we have to vist joe and jan sometime.lol.andy and i had a really nice time in branson on saturday.we did get to see the bald knobber's show.it was soo funny.we got the ticket's for half price since we live in taney county.there was a lot of people there.on march the 6 they are having a special show.it is their 50 year to be there in show business.
i went to the urgent care on sat while we were in branson.my knee was hurting me a lot.did not take us long there at all.the doctor said i sprained my knee.he gave me some strong pain pill's to take.he said take it easy for a few day's and to see my regular doctor if needed.it is starting to feel better.i will be ready to help you jan when those seed's get here.i have a doctor's app on thursday morning.just let me know when.
bec you have been doing a lot of walking girl.andy and i wont know you when we get to see you.i am about 50 pound's more now than when i got married.i will try on my dress sometime after i have the surgery.it was my mom's dress.i know i will have some clothe's to pass on.
susie hope you have a good day at school.you sound like a friend of mine from ironton.she does a lot of different classes whever they need a teacher.
deb how is the house painting coming along?i know it will look really pretty when you get it all finished.

I couldn't imagine having a pumpkin that weighed 500#! Holy cow. I was talking to Aaron about it and he was telling me about the pumpkins and other seeds they have a Lowes. When we get our house I plan on planting a garden with those pumpkins. I think it would be really cute for Jon and Mackenzie!
Speaking of Mackenzie, she's not here yet. However this morning I was having contractions, they never got closer
than 10 minutes apart. I ended up falling asleep and when I woke up I wasn't having anymore. My friend later informed me that because I relaxed they went away then they don't come back. If I would have known that I never would have let myself fall asleep. Since this morning I have had more pains and I know she has dropped even further!! Hopefully it won't be long.
I am so glad my mom got on here. Well I need to get going, we are going to the mall to try and walk this baby out!

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking! The upstairs painting is finished except for our bedroom and bathroom. We have the paint for that so hopefully, dh will get that done within the next week. We're also painting the downstairs. Paint was on sale and I really felt it was time for DH to get busy! He's been really down and out about not finding a job. He was laid off 3 months ago on 2/7. I truly think painting has kept his mind off from things...at least for awhile. Please keep us in your prayers. I know our Heavenly Father has a purpose for all of this, just have to keep trusting Him
Luke is going to be in the play "The Nerd" this weekend. I've forgotten what part he's playing. But of course, our family will be there. I think there is one more play before graduation and he's hoping to get the lead. Can't remember what the name of that play is. He tried out for a theater scholarship at Emporia State a couple weeks ago. Should know within a couple more weeks whether or not he got it. Hope he gets some money. I hate it that we can't help much and David is laid off his Senior Year of High School. Anyways, it is what it is.
Jake's last basketball game is tomorrow!! It's also Parent Appreciation Night. Needless to say, I'm glad basketball season is ending! Seems like we meet ourselves coming and going.
Mama Jan - Glad you made it home safe and sound! You have tomato buds already!? Oh, I can't wait to have some fresh tomatoes! I got your email about the Circle of Friends Support Group. Sure wish I lived closer to Springfield because I would be there!
Bec - I didn't tell David about your Gourmet Valentine's Dinner for Paul, he would have expected the same treatment from me! We spent our Valentine's Day painting! lol! When is your next appointment in KC? It's been way to long since I hugged you my friend!
Susan - Take care of that ankle! Do you have a surgery date yet? I'm sorry I do read the posts but forget most of what I read. Sad but true. It's great that you and Andy are working together on weight loss. What a great help to the both of you!

Susie - So you substitute teach too? How long have you been doing that? I started in December 2007. Only work a few days a month. I've enjoyed it and it gets me out of the house and we can use the extra money, especially with dh losing his job.
