Would you do it again?

Is it me or does everyone have this problem?  I can't hold down a job because I have to be able to RUN to the nearest bathroom at the drop of a hat.  I substitute teach and I can't leave the classroom to go.  What do you do? 

I am not sure that I would have had the surgery if I had known all of the ill effects.  I love being skinny but I don't love what goes with it.

Any thoughts?

I had the problem more before surgery. I have very weak muscles and almost no control so I understand the problem. I have had only a few incidents since I have been back at work. I do not have any ideas to help. I sub also and I have had to leave the classroom in a run once. Thankfully it is not something that happens on a regular basis. I am much better than before surgery. Short of wearing a diaper I have no solutions. I wear a maxi pad sometimes just in case I don't make it. I would have surgery again in a heartbeat.

I don't have any issues less I am sick. I had tons of problems pre op.  I have problems the other way since I have had colon resection.  I know there isn't any stopping it if I am sick though.  If you are having issues you may need to be checked out to see if you have C-diff, or something else.  So I would see if there is something going on with you. 
I had problems before so I would do it again and again and again.  No regrets here at all.

ii would do it over and over evey year or even two times a year to feel like i feel now....you bet ...
i do have problems with my bowels but have always had and know when they are going to bother me way before it happens....so yeah i know what you mean but in my case i know and just nt go anywhere when i feel like that untill it is resolved....I too think you maybe need to go see your doctor and see what yuu can come up with to solve theproblem....will be thinking of you let us know what you find out....
